First I reserved a non smoking room and all they had for me was a smoking room then it got worst from there I should get my money back There was even blood stains on the floor

We booked a king bed and a sleeper couch. we received a double bed with a roll away bed which had blood stains on it. I slept on the floor. I was told that changed like this is a frequent occurance. It was to late for me to find another hotel. I was told that a credit would be issued to me by Orbit for the change per the Manager I don't think I will be booking again thru orbit. and I will certainly not recommend the hotel chain. I recently booked hotel rooms in Monterey thru an other source.

Aside from one incident where I was locked out of my room for three and a half hours during my one-week stay the staff was friendly and helpful although sometimes understaffed they all appear to go above and beyond their call of duty.

The first room I was given was supposed to be a non-smoking space but someone had definitely been smoking in the bathroom. The blow dryer was missing, the phone had no buttons or usage information and there were balls of fur on the floor. The room was really disgusting. I was immediately given another room by the overwhelmed but very calm front desk employee. The impression left by the first room was not mitigated by the second, it was visibly cleaner and all the parts were there but there was an odd smell. The bed was very poorly made, the bottom sheet was a flat sheet and just laid on top of the matress, not tucked in or tightly encasing the matress. I was uncomfortable but out of options. I would not stay here or at any Extended Stay America based on this experience. In addition the hotel was seriously over-priced considering the conditions I encountered. The one upside is the two employees, both front desk help, were among the nicest I met.

Arrived early morning 3 Mar 2017, night attendant was in the midst of a panic attack because five guest were attempting to check in. General room condition was ok, but I had roaches in the my room. Not happy overall with the stay.

It was warm in the room so I tired to adjust the temperature and it kept going up on its own, eventually I just unplugged it and slept with the security lock on the door with it open. Also the fridge leaked all over the door during the night.

BEDS: In a double bed room, one bed didn't even have a cover sheet on. Also, the skirt on the first bed was torn on the right side. There were small stains on the sheets. NON-SMOKING: I reserved a non-smoking room; however, the room REEKED of cigarettes, and the restroom reeked of MARIJUANA. OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD HONKING AT 2:34AM for approximately 15 minutes, whereas not ONE staff or security showed up to stop it. Extended Stay is my absolute favorite place to stay, but PLEASE, do yourself a favor and go to any other Extended Stay in Sacramento, but this one. Absolutely horrible!

I have stayed at another location of this chain so I had some expectations. The staff were wonderful. The room was somewhat disappointing. Smelled and looked clean. The bathroom sink cabinet was hanging off the hinges; hair was on shower wall and curtain. I don't care for curtains hanging inside of tub, especially when it has hair and a bug(looked like squashed roach) on it. Stove and counter had crumbs and hair; nightstand and chairs needed dusting. The bed was comfortable and pillows unusually large and firm. Could not adjust thermostat program. A napkin ball under the window fan unit. The room was clean just a bit more attention to detail needed. This location was least expensive of the Sacramento locations. I will stay again to see if another room is better. I was satisfied with my stay

A month ago, I walked into this location and tried to just pay with no reservations. I was turned away by a woman stating they were booked and only could take reservations, so I booked a room through orbitz and returned to this location. The woman didn't look to happy with my actions and let me know that then got me my room. The 2nd time I was locked out of my room for 3 hours where my food I just ordered went cold. before even trying, the owner of this location asked if I was willing to get another room until the next day, I refused because all of my belongings were already occupying the room. Once I was able to get in the room we agreed the next day I would transfer rooms. The next day entering the room there stove had no burners and the end of the left side of the bed was basically on the floor. I let the staff know of my frustrations and they compensated me with one free night. I feel I should've been compensated more.

I booked 2 full beds but it turned out the other one is a pull out couch. The hotel should have put in the details before final booking. No landline phone, I have to use my cellphone to call the front desk. I slipped from the bath tub while showering, there was no anti skid. I requested for additional towels because not enough for 4 adults and 2 kids, front desk, said "just bring the dirty towels, & will replace it. "

Sheets were worn with extensive pilling and had yellowish stains. Had to change rooms due to smoke smell in first room and found cigarette butts under the bed in our nonsmoking room. Breakfast consists of coffee, granola bars and oatmeal pouches. The employees were very pleasant though.

A/c not cooling enough, 1 soap bar. Mildew in bathtub rip shower curtain, checked in at 4 pm room not ready. Hotel sucks!

Simply the mattress was either worn out or lowest quality possible. I was itching all night, literally I could not fall asleep until about 5am. I could hear the snoring from the neighboring room. Who knows maybe he is just a very loud snorer.

For a $300+ 2 day stay, I would have liked to have a suite with a coffee maker. I spent more money to have a kitchen but when you check in and get to your room, the cupboards are bare. You don't even get a coffee maker! I had to call down to the lobby and ask if I could get the "everyday essentials" like plates and silverware. The front desk person didn't even offer to have it sent up to my room. If I pay extra to have a kitchenette, I expect the cupboards to be stocked or at least asked what supplies I need when I check in. The carpet was damp like it was just cleaned, but the room smelled like BO and mildew. The bed was the worst I had ever slept in. It was super firm and had no padding over the springs. There was a chunk of the carpet missing and the pleather furniture had not been wiped down. I can only imagine what white liquids were on it. Don't bother staying here. For the same cost, there are much nicer suites a mile or two down the road.

As you can see from my rating, nothing was Terrible about this place - but neither was there anything Good except the personality of the clerk that checked us in, James. He was truly the only bright part of the stay. Here is the low (and I mean LOW-down) on our experience. My wife and I arrived after dark and had to stumble, groping into a pitch dark room as there was no working light or switch by the door. Of three wall lights and one credenza lamp, only one wall light by the bed worked. I finally located the wall switch at the back of the room that turned on the overhead ceiling light in the kitchenette. A total of three calls or visits to the front desk brought only James with an armload of lightbulbs two days later. None of the bulbs were of any use, but he did figure out that the lamp was unplugged behind the credenza. He plugged it in and told me I would have to unplug it when I wanted to turn it off (there was no physical switch on the lamp). One of the wall fixtures had a broken switch and the other one had no bulb in it. Seems like these would be a safety hazard that would red-flag the room to be taken out of service, especially in California. The bed comforter was a fitted comforter made of a lightweight synthetic that slid off of the bed without fail every night. The wall thermostat appeared to do nothing to actually control the HVAC. The fridge barely kept items cold. The large burner on the cooktop was useless as it was missing the reflector pan.

Noisy, there were some scary looking people staying at this hotel. The receptionist was pleasant and attentive. We left early in the morning and took advantage of the free coffee.

I didn't like my hotel stay. It was not what I am accustomed to.

Friendly Staff, location close to freeways, nice room, was very quiet even though full.

Had a great time when we stayed here. It was average and exactly what we had expected. We will return.

Hotel was at a convenient location for my stay. Amenities were good, room was clean and staff was helpful.
