The staff member could not find record that Expedia had paid the hotel for our stay - even though I was able to show proof that Expedia had been paid. As a result, they would not give us our room. I had to pay for the room a second time in order to check in. I received a phone message later saying that the second payment would be refunded; however, I am still waiting for the credit appear on my statement. I was very disappointed in BOTH the hotel AND Expedia for this problem, which was between the two of them, and should NOT have affected my check in. Lee Lubin

n general, we got what we paid for. I was in the area for CIM, and since any hotel in downtown was crazily expensive, this hotel was about half the price and only 6 minutes away from the bus shuttle at the SAVE Credit Union (Location A). So, I would say the price was amazing considering the event and the location. The room was clean, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a microwave provided above the mini refrigerator. One thing that would make me think twice about booking this hotel again is the noise from the AC—it kept waking me up, unfortunately. =( The area surrounding the property was mostly other hotels, and it was very convenient. It's close to the freeway and a gas station. However, I would not recommend it for solo travelers due to the experience I had at a nearby McDonald’s (less than 2 minutes away—I felt unsafe inside the restaurant, no one cared about the front register (saw a customer angery about the wait, while another customer was arguing about his bill) and at the gas station around the corner, where kids were asking for money and food. =( AGAIN, this is a good price in terms of the price. If you bring your own food using the mircowave and dine at the downtown area, I guess that it should be okay. Hope the noise of the AC only the individual case. Oh well.

Check in staff acted as though we were a bother when we were checking in. Mind you he was dressed in a hoodie and sweat pants. Later on our way out for the evening the same staff member had his feet up on the furniture watching TV in the lobby. My thoughts to myself, Do not sit there.

I walked in and walked right back out. I didn’t even bother checking in because the environment felt unsafe the moment I arrived, there were people loitering outside and the overall atmosphere was very unsettling. I do not recommend coming here. I would rather lose the money than risk my safety. The listing is completely misleading and feels like false advertising. If I could I would give this a zero.
