The reception clerk when we checked out was not pleasant. It seems like she was really bored with her job. Not once did she smile nor looked at me. The food attendant was very nice but they were missing food items such as yogurt, bacon and plain scrambled eggs. The bed is very comfy but the sofa bed was dusty when we pulled it out. The air conditioner is old and can not handle the hot weather outside. It took awhile to cool down the room.

No lobby, room was smelly, found a Roach in morning left it on floor and was still there in evening.

Upon arrival I checked into a room not a front desk, it was barricaded with green fencing with no explanation. I'm the morning staff was outside smoking and talking with there clipboards three of them. At night I could hear the conversations of the people above me and for over three hours it sounded like elephants were up there. I called the front desk several times and nothing changes I woke up to what sounds like someone hacking up a lung. The walls were so thin, Also I was asked for my card for incidentals when I got to my room I wondered what incidentals were they talking about because there were none. Parking was terrible. They were rated almost a four which looked pretty good on the web but the photos did not match what I saw.

Was really happy with the staff and willness to help out if anything was needed.

We stated one night at this hotel and were billed $493. The manager refused to explain the charges. Billing dispute is still in progress.

This is my second stay at the Sandman. I really enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and the bed was super comfortable! Amenities for those on a budget: microwave, fridge, iron, hair dryer. (The microwave needs a longer cord; I had to move it to reach the outlet). There's a lovely river walk behind the motel; recommended to go with someone just to be safe. Only complaint was about other dog owners whose dogs yapped and one who let her dog off leash and did not retrieve him immediately. My dog was very distracted. I'll stay there next year!

The room and service was as described. A small herd of elephants were in the room above me. They settled after a few hours.

Wanted s place Close to the airport, this fits the bill... Bed was comfortable

Just in for an overnight stay. Place was nice and clean, but noise was so bad I didn't get much sleep.

This location was affordable, clean, and customer service was excellent.

The pool was great, we thought we could sit on the river during the day, but not in walking distance. Hotel was great, breakfast was good. The Mexican restaurant in the middle of the parking lot was ok good but not great. But convenient.. This was a girls concert weekend. 20.00 cab ride to the Sleep Train Arena

Hotel was clean and comfortable - nice breakfast available and close to everything

Had the unified wine and grape symposium that was at the convention center. This was a great location

It was very clean , comfortable and up to date decor. Lovely staff directed me to places to take my family to eat. Access to the river was great we watched the sky change colors as the sun went down.loved our patio. Love to go back soon. Over all great stay

The shower water pressure was almost non-existent so washing my long hair was a challenge I could have done without. One of the desk clerks appeared annoyed by my questions for directions on where 2 eat dinner. The available tv/cable channels were limited.

Clean room, smelled nice, staff was nice enough.. However.. the water pipes throughout the building screeched whenever in use. I was located in a 1st floor unit and the above could be heard from below.

Spent to night awake due to loud creaking from the floor above with every step the guests upstairs made. Don't know why they paced all night, but the creaking was louder than any apartment I've ever been in. Customer Service at the Front Desk the next morning was just as bad. My Mom went to check out and asked for a copy of the bill. The Front Desk lady said it was in her email. That may be true but when a customer asks for a receipt, I don't think a business can deny a customer. That's what they did even after a second request.

Nice front desk staff. Well lit parking lot. Room was clean, recently redecorated, smelled OK, bed was comfy. Highway was nearby but I heard very little road noise. Enjoyed the sculpture and fountain in front of the registration area. 'Merica!

I was really impressed with this place. It's very close to interstate five and the staff was really nice. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The price was right and it saved us from having to drive two hours for a 5:30 AM flight out of Sac. Downtown was very close also for a great dinner.

it was excellent. it was very comfortable and very clean. more than what i have expected. i would recommend staying here.
