Was here recently for a 2-night stay on a business trip. Clean, fresh feel to the decor throughout. Fast, efficient check-in. The room was fine (king bed). I still think Marriott's decision to go away from in-room desks is stupid, but at least there was sort of a modern TV tray that I could use as a desk. No complaints about the room. Tim in the concierge lounge was very friendly and helpful with a dinner recommendation. Property is across the street from a big mall with several dining options. I walked over without problem. Would recommend this property, and stay here again.
The staff is courteous. Especially the Concierge Lounge personnel, Tim and Troy. These 2 individuals are amazing and extremely helpful. They make the hotel very pleasant. They always remember your name and will do anything to make your stay great. The hotel itself is in excellent shape and in a great location. Across the street from the Crabtree Valley Mall and literally 15 minutes from anywhere we asked or needed to go. That part is kind of strange but it is fact. I will stay here every time i have to travel to Raleigh. Thanks to the staff.
Hotel room was great, clean room, spacious staff was helpful and friendly Only 2 carts to bring up your bags for the entire hotel Fridge no micro Very happy in general Bistro a bit pricy, pool was nice but could have been better maintained. They need someone to skim it during the day Right next to Crabtree Mall, lots of restaurants nearby
The service at this hotel was friendly, polite, respectful, and attentive. I want to highly commend Ally for her particularly excellent customer service. She has such a friendly and welcoming smile. More importantly she went beyond just answering a question but instead went that extra mile to ensure that my stay was exceptional. As an example, I asked for directions to the restaurant and she took the time to escort me there when she could have just pointed. Another time she helped to resolve a problem. Another time when she passed by the business center where I was working, she asked me how everything was and if all was fine. She is a definite asset to this hotel. Iury was very helpful when I checked in and out. He handled many details of my booking and I appreciate his knowledge and very polite manner. This hotel, I understand, was newly rennovated. It is absolutely beautiful from the moment you first step into the lobby to the modern sleek design of the rooms. My room had 2 queen size beds. Instead of the usual clunky furniture typically seen in hotels, this is a wide and open design. There is a very large LG tv mounted on the wall so there is no wasted space and you have an extra surface to put stuff on. There are three medium size drawers to put away belongings if you choose to do so. What is really neat is that there is an open design ledge that perhaps was meant for seating but it served beautifully as a platform to put my luggage on so I didn't bother to put things in drawers. The closet had plenty of hangers. The closet is a half closet: one side for clothes, shoes, etc.; the other side is for a mini refridgerator and one cup coffee pot, and a selection of coffee and tea, cups, etc. The closet also houses a iron and iron board. There is a ledge about three quarters the way to the bottom. If you have a long dress it does get in the way. I loved having a stall shower. It's roomy and has the rain shower head and is well lit. I don't know if all rooms have a stall shower but I am really glad that mine did!! The desk and chair was so comfortable and very inviting to do work. I'm sorry I didn't bring by laptop :o] The mall is really close and easy to get to although I didn't go there. I stayed at the hotel or was with family. I did eat at the restaurant twice and enjoyed huge salads which was very well priced. As you can get from my review, I truly enjoyed my stay and when I visit Raleigh again, this hotel is my choice!!
This hotel is a solid Marriott property that is well maintained and clean. The rooms are laid out well, and generally in good shape. The beds are firm but comfortable, and the pillows are fine. The hotel is in a suburban setting next to the local mall, so is not in the downtown area. Where the property suffers is on the details. The room had only two bath towels available, so we had to double usage. The blow dryer was missing the switch for heat selection (left a message letting them know) and was pretty useless. The bathroom door for the room was a sliding door with a large gap all the way around the door (read not as much privacy as you may want). Another issues included ordering a pot of coffee for the room, and them delivering it with only one coffee cup. The hotel has a restaurant and bar. The good is that we arrived in early afternoon after a delayed flight and had to meet a tour guide in a shorter amount of time than we planned. We wanted to grab a quick lunch at the hotel and let them know we were short on time. They stepped up and delivered out lunch in short order to meet our need. Fantastic! That evening, we stopped at the bar for a night cap. There were only two other people at the bar, and it was quite empty. We ordered two drinks, including a gin and tonic, and both were pretty bad. Not sure how you mess up a gin and tonic, but the bartender managed to do so. Bottom line: This is a nice hotel that is clean and in good shape, but misses on the details. I will likely find another hotel for any subsequent visits.
We used points to stay at the Marriott Crabtree while in Raleigh for a concert. We were late checking in and thing could not have gone better from the start as drove up. Valet parking was easy. We only had one bag so we handed over the keys and headed in. It was very easy and we didn't have to come back out after we checked in. The front desk staff was very welcoming. We picked up a snack and headed up to room. The room had been renovated since our last stay. The bathroom was great. The new showers were super clean and nice. The bedroom was spotless and the new sofa was nice. We really enjoyed our short stay.
I stayed at this hotel on Friday, 6/30 for 1 night. I've stayed her in the past but not since the renovation. What a beautiful transformation; it looks amazing! The staff if wonderful; you guys should be proud! Everyone at the Front Desk staff was awesome! One gentleman even took time to take me outside to show me the new Terrace and pool. Way to go Marriott!
I spent four nights at the end of June for a business seminar and could not have been more pleased. The staff at check in were quick and efficient and the room was immaculate. The restaurant on property was very good and the prices not exorbitant. The Crabtree Mall located just across the street has lots of shopping and lots of restaurants as well. The hotel is conveniently located just off the interstate. Would definitely return!
Nice clean entry with friendly service. Room was clean. California King bed. No problems whatsoever. Didn't have a bar for nightcap. Stocked only beer and wine near checkin desk. Fast checkout. I would stay again.
It's a Marriott. Nice friendly clean There was Consruction when I stayed so som e parts were not open but a place you can trust for good clean service. Close to a lot of things including mall I would recommend it
