Literally just a terrible overall experience. Bathroom was unusable. Sheets were not sleepable glad I brought my own. Just a total mess. Hotel is under renovations but you have to have something nice to offer your guests in the mean time but NO I was put in a horrible room and I’m pregnant on top of everything. I got the room as a little getaway for myself and it was just a complete let down.
It was horrible, very dirty, stains everywhere. Changed rooms, 2nd room just as bad. Never again.
Carpet had debris all over. Burn hole in non smoking room through blanket. Moldy plugged up shower. Peeling paint. Filthy parking lot. Continental breakfast was advertised but not had (other than dry cereal) due to remodeling. Something is messed up with the five dot rating below. It only allows me to select five dots on several.
The room was not vacuumed at all. Bathroom was very dirty and still had cigarette Ash in the tub. The tub was dirty and toilet was not cleaned. It was obvious the person who cleaned it only did the bed. The pillows wee stained and didn't even had covers on them. It's like they don't didn't care cleaning a room. It wasn't even half way done. It's a shame this room was that dirty. I know it was cheap but omg it's a filth. Even the outside appearance was horrible. Old furniture all over the place. The pool was empty and disgusting. I will never stay at this hotel again and tell people to step fly stay away from this dump.
I would have loved to have known that they were under construction, therefore not offering breakfast, and not having the pool open. The room was dirty with dust & hair on the air conditioning unit that I had to clean off before I could turn on the air. There was a moth swinging in a spiderweb behind the door of the bathroom, and the smoke alarm was hanging by a wire from the wall.
Thank you for renovating, because the rooms are way overdue for an overhaul. Especially the bathroom.
This place has so many issues that I don't know where to begin. My first room had been made with dirty sheets (blood stains and hair between sheets). Second room had half used shampoo bottles and a used bar of soap on the back of the toliet on top of the fact the room hadn't been vacuumed. Third room the "manager" inspected with me, and while it was not up to the wyndam standards in used to i could (and did) live with it as my employer paid for it and the "manager" said it would take 3+ weeks to get our money back if I requested a refund. He also said that they were under new management for the last two months as an excuse. That being said i understand the renovations and lack of breakfast HOWEVER this is no excuse for dirty linens and lack of general housekeeping! Day 1-no housekeeping whatsoever; when I inquired was told you have to specifically ask for it. Day 2-they just took out trash, made the bed and took dirty towels. Day 3- I put plackard on the bed for fresh linens and did not get them as well as they took the remaining towel without replacing it (thank God I had packed one). Day4- they made the bed again and took out trash and that is it! Not once did they vacuum or even sweep the floor even though I had accidently dropped food on it which was still there when I checked out or brought me more towels or toiletries (with exception of toliet paper the second day). I will not (nor will my company) book here again when we have to cone to the garner area for training!
With obvious property and room upgrades that are badly needed maybe they should delay room rate increases after completion.
spider on pillow, stains on sheets, room smelled funny, smoke alarm had a plastic bag wrapped around it, sliding door handle broken, bathroom unvented, air conditioner would run but not cool
This was a good place to hang my hat for the evening and was an inexpensive place to stay so can;t complain. Very good location for the Raleigh area as it had easy access to lots of roads, decent restaurants and a grocery store two blocks away to grab essentials. They were very nice and took care of all my necessities when requested. . No ice machine on 3rd floor.
