This hotel has the modern convinces with a food market which serves breakfast and dinner. The rooms are also modern with a nice shower with a great décor. The hotel is located right off the 540 highway and has easy access. The only small downside is the soft be mattress but overall the stay was good, the room was quiet and the food and services were outstanding.
My family and I were in town for a funeral. Courtyard Raleigh were so accommodating to us. We needed a place to gather the night before the funeral, the meeting space that we used was clean, and just enough space for the family to share a meal for about two hours. Management and staff were extremely professional. The ladies at the Café counter were very friendly each morning as well as professional . The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The only negative would be the pull out couch was horrible. Springs in your back are not a good look for such an upscale hotel. Other than that, good stay. Thank you Chris and your team!
This is an OK hotel pretty much the same as every other courtyard. There are the same amenities throughout all the courtyard brands. The restaurant food has no unique items at the courtyard the best thing to do is to go to either Chili’s or to macaroni grill for dinner. The elevators in this hotel are also very slow going down and average going up I assume there is issues with the plungers on the elevators
Great hotel but the internet goes put every night. Unfortunately the breakfast is not complimentary, which you don't find out until you are there. Besides that, it is a comfy stay in Raleigh, North Carolina
We booked 3 rooms several months in advance and were excited to stay here. First room arrived and had no problems checking in and provided all the card information for the other rooms. Second one arrived and was told both rooms ready and side by side. I arrived around 4:15 to a long line of parents with soccer players. The general manager stepped to the middle of the counter and loudly announced there were no rooms ready because guests from the night before either checked out late or chose to stay over. The very upset lady in front of me somehow got a room. I asked to pick up my keys since the one who got the rooms had checked in for me and left my keys with the front desk. At 5:00 pm I was told I might have a room when I returned from banquet after 10:00 pm and they knew nothing about keys or room. I carried all luggage to a friend’s room to change and as I was knocking on her door the woman who miraculously got a room carried her suitcase in the next room. I am sure she was given my room since I had not arrived. I had to quickly change so we could get to event by 5:45. I inquired about a room when we went down to catch our Uber. No rooms. One of the ladies with our group asked the lady who checked her in what happened to the room since she specifically told her she had the key waiting on me. The clerk looked at her and said she didn’t remember speaking with her. Upon returning to the hotel about 10:30, the GM, Chris Metke, was at the counter on the computer. We got drinks from the snack area and after about five mins of silence he glanced up and I gave my name. He worked some more the. Just handed keys over the counter NEVER looking up and said housekeeping did not get to the room until late. I had to interrupt him again to get him to ring up the two pepsi’s I had. And this biggest insult was he offered NO apologies for this screw up, just put keys on counter and called my name. You I was then given a room on another floor so at 11:00 pm we were moving luggage from floor to floor. I travel a lot and this was such a poor display of Customer Service that started from the top. Yes, I understand they were booked full, but as a GM he should have planned and staffed in accordance to make sure there were not 15 people in lobby waiting for rooms and all with places to be by 6:00.
Wanted to acknowledge Bianca in The Bistro for absolutely awesome service. I am a Type 2 diabetic losing weight and eating super low carb (20g/day) to try to reverse my diabetes. Had to modify my cheeseburger to basically only include meat, cheese, bacon - nothing else. No fries or chips which were only side options. Bianca felt bad for me and went to the kitchen and surprised me with a diabetic-friendly salad because she understood how much it sucks eating out and having to modify everything to be more diet-friendly. This act of kindness was amazing. So thoughtful. Add to that, I was having a really tough night, too, as I had just found out my dad's cancer was back worse than ever and he has a very difficult road ahead. I was sad and just making it through a meh cheeseburger. This salad - and especially the kindness that came with it, was just so great. Kudos to Bianca.
We stayed here for a wedding on Friday & Sat. (9/1 & 9/2 2017). When we checked in on Friday afternoon we had to call the brides family who booked the rooms because the front desk staff refused to let me check in without the credit card number of the person who originally booked the rooms. (The family had called on Thursday (8/31) and provided all of this information.) I then had to produce my ID before they would allow me to check in. (Granted the rooms had already been paid for in full.) When I got up to my room the mother of the bride called me to see what I thought of the gift she'd left at the front desk for me. I informed her the only thing I received at check-in was an interrogation...no gift. She proceeded to call the front desk where they re-remembered she'd left a very nice and expensive gift not 20 mins prior to my arrival. On Saturday evening my two daughters came up to help with the wedding. I called two hours prior to them arriving to make sure they wouldn't have any problems getting into the room. Different front desk person...same problem. During the middle of the wedding we had to find the brides family and get the credit card information and provide all of that information once again. When my daughters arrive they called me to tell me that the front desk won't allow them to check in without the credit card number of the person who booked the rooms. Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!! So, we call back again. Tell the newest front desk person how irritated we were and she hung up the phone on us. We had to call back three more times (getting hung up on three more times) before she informed me that she was the only one working and she was working with other customers. I was finally able to get her to give my daughters a room key. We have stayed all over the United States and have NEVER had to go through this kind of a hassle to check in to a hotel. I'm very familiar with Marriott Hotels and this IS NOT the norm for them. I hope that this review will find them and they can make the necessary adjustments. I can assure you I'll NEVER step foot in this hotel again!
Very nice hotel with cool open areas indoor and out and good sized rooms. Good location for commuting downtown or Wake Forest and super Triangle Town Mall "next door". Pool is small and coffee bar has a few breakfast items but watch out if you're gluten free as the limited choices are even more limited. Above all you need wheels to get anywhere from the hotel - even crossing the car park to the Mall feels like a hike! Staff are all super-friendly so overall great place to stay for a relaxing overnight if you need simple peace and quiet.
Great hotel for a Marriott! I would definitely stay there again. It's in an excellent location. There's a Chilis and Macaroni Grill right next to the hotel that you can walk from. The room was nice and the bed was really comfortable.
My family stayed here three nights for a wedding. It was a group of about 30 of us. Rooms were spotless and spacious. Pool was small but great and so was the exercise room. Definitely stay here again.
