The property is beautiful but needs updating. Most importantly, the beds need updating. The bed felt like we were laying on wood. It is so hard and painful to lay on. There was an empty room across the hall with a much softer and more comfortable bed, but the manager would not allow us to switch to that room without paying an additional $120 a night. The hotel has 80 rooms and less than a dozen were occupied. We ended up getting extra pillows to sleep on, but it was uncomfortable. Had the manager been a little more accommodating, we likely would return to the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant staff were friendly. However the hotel is empty and has no entertainment or anything to do if it is raining.

Everything’s exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very spacious and the bathrooms were upgraded. The bed and linen comfortable and soft and the staff were amazing. That Jamaican breakfast was awesome and the servings ample. Everybody should try those chili wings on the lunch menu - simply dynamite.
