⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review My stay at Jamaica Palace Hotel was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff made sure I felt welcomed and informed about everything the hotel had to offer. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable — the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud! I especially appreciated the little touches, like complimentary bottled water, plush towels, and the amazing view from my window. The amenities were top-notch: the pool area was clean and relaxing, the on-site restaurant served delicious food with great variety, and the breakfast buffet was generous and fresh each morning. I also loved the convenient location — close to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. But what really made my stay unforgettable was the staff. The sheets and towels look worn and yellowing. Could used some updating. The rooms across from our rooms were undergoing refurbishing so the outside was a bit unkempt.

Beautiful property, the gardens surrounding the property are immaculate. This is a classic old hotel with art work in abundance everywhere, classic period furnishings are priceless. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was sumptuous. We had dinner there twice and the food was delicious. You should visit to see the art of the great Ken Abondano Spencer in a part of Jamaica brimming with natural beauty.

Beautiful property, friendly staff, breakfast was good! The artwork is amazing, the entire place is like an art gallery, gorgeous! The pool is pretty big and fun to swim in. I had such a good stay and looking forward to returning.

After booking online and arriving at the hotel we were told we had to pay a holding fee of USD 200. In this day and age we thought this to be very inconvenient and archaic. Of course when we tried paying this holding fee, the machine would not work for some of us and for others it ended up charging the card twice. Checking in took forever and a few of my friends had to change room because of sparkes flying from the light in the room. Breakfast was ok and the staff we encountered in the morning seemed more knowledgeable about the operations. The beds were comfortable.

The Jamaica Palace Hotel is beautiful and the staff we welcoming and friendly. The rooms were adequately sized. The landscape and pool are gorgeous. It was a challenge to do early check in but the staff were able to accommodate us. The cons are there’s not any dining options nearby. It requires a drive 20 mins out to find food. The hotel doesn’t provide snacks or a little cafe for quick meals.

I booked two identical rooms and my friends room was noticeably smaller and not the same design on the wall so that was a bit meh but the stay was still great. Beautiful property, very nice pool. Complimentary breakfast that came with my stay was excellent. The room key was missing and the front desk person was nonchalant but again I only stayed one night so I didnt press the issue. When in Portland I would definitely stay there again.

Tranquil Getaway

This was my first time in Portland Parish, ao I wanted to stay close enough to town, so I could access the markets, restaurants, and other ammenities whenever needed. I read a lot of positive reviews about Jamaica Palace, so I decided to stay there. It was a lot more than I imagined. The old, colonial styled buildings were very well kept and elegantly adorned with paintings and sketches. The restaurant was very big, and it was set up in a sophisticated manner. The grounds and surrounding vegetation were well manicured. The staff was quite friendly, which was no surprise. The food was excellent, and the entire area was very peaceful.
