I just came back from my 5 day vacations at the Grand Palladium. Overall I would rate my experience a 3 out of 5. When we arrived at 4:00, check in time (3:00) we were astonished at how many people were having trouble checking in. About 15 different groups of people said they were waiting several hours to check in when they were guaranteed early check in. The receptionist kept telling them the rooms are not ready. Finally after an hour of waiting in line for check in our rooms WERE ready, thank god! So we did not experience a bad check in. Once we got to our rooms we noticed they were not the cleanest, however we were so exhausted from our all day travels we did not care. The pools were disgusting and you could smell urine coming from them, we stayed away from the pools. The staff were not the friendliest and didn’t seem happy to be there, we also were harassed several times by the employees to get massages. And they were very rude when we kindly denied them. The food was pretty good! No real complaints there. But we were not giving new bath towels for 2 days!! We kept calling and going to the front desk, they told us house keeping would give us new towels, nope! They said they had to check with a manger to give us new towels.. what?! Finally on our third day we got towels!! That was ridiculous. I would go back to Jamaica, it was beautiful but I would consider staying at a different resort, as relaxing here was pretty impossible.. and that’s why we booked the trip..

We loved how huge the resort was! There was so much to explore. The rooms were gorgeous and the pool and beach were absolutely beautiful. We wish there were more engaging night life activities. We also wish more events were vocalized about because if we weren’t walking by by chance, we wouldn’t have known about too much.

Upon arrival, our room wasn’t ready. We went back at 3:10pm and they told us they “upgraded” our room to the Lady Hamilton side and wanted to put us in the very last building on the resort. We said no. We booked a closer room. He tried to assure me it was upgraded and newer but I refused to stay in the last building, so after I clearly wasn’t ok with it, they got a manager over and put us in the closest building to everything, still on Lady Hamilton side. The room was nice. It was clean. The breakfast buffets were good. Lunch on the beach was great. Always like the fresh chicken, pork and rice they serve fresh daily. Dinner was ok. One night we spent an hour and a half to eat at El Dorado and then our food took over an hour to come out. That was annoying. Wasted half our evening just waiting. There was a lot of “come back later” when we needed our shuttle ticket. Never actually got it because the person we needed to see was never at her post. But she made sure to get us on the list and it was fine. Everything is slow moving here. Limited alcohol to choose from. Lots of it, but limited varieties. Our phone didn’t work and it took us telling them 3 days in a row before maintenance came and replaced the phone. Therefore, we couldn’t utilize it for room service or to call front desk until half the week was over. The place is your usual,semi-upgraded all inclusive. A little nicer than the Riu Montego Bay, but not as nice at Secrets Wild Orchid. It should cost less.

The overall experience at the Grand Palladium was great. From the cleanliness to the staff to the pool. It was great. I definitely recommend this resort. A lot of food choices and bars to choose from. Family friendly.

The people who work here are the most amazing, friendliest, happiest people that made the stay so incredibly warm and family like. The grounds are beautiful and very well taken care of. The pool very clean as well as the amenities. Everything was fabulous!!!!!

Food was good staff was very friendly drinks were strong and delicious

One of the best! You will not be disappointed in the service you receive. Everyone is so helpful and genuine. There’s so many activities to do in a day you’ll need plenty of days at the resort! Will definitely be going back!

Baby club was poorly supervised. Bathroom ceiling was leaking

The resort was beautiful but the room was not that clean and the housekeeping was very slow and forgot to refill the towels, soap and shampoo. The bottom bedsheet was not fitted and it kept moving around when you would turn over so you were sleeping on the mattress which is not good...also food was ok not that great.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort! It’s our third time coming back, since my whole family is pleased with their stay. Food is excellent, service and entertainment, the beact& pool are very nice. One thing I would like to see improved is the pillows ( it’s very hard) and plastic mattress covers ( should be replaced with a soft covers). Thank you again for the wonderful stay!!!

Relaxing place to enjoy the sunny weather & the hospitality of the Jamaican people. Staff are very nice, food is pretty good, & the atmosphere is so chill.

The food was not as expected! The check in take forever. The restaurant take a long time to server the main course.

The amenities were great, food choices was the same everyday and the wait time for the steakhouse and Italian restaurant was terrible. 1.5 hours. The shuttles was told to run every 15-20 mins but was more like 25-30 mins. Will only return if all of this changes.

Great resort, nice people good food and drinks. We had no issue during our stay. The dinner restaurants are nice . We could not get a reservation in one of the restaurant but it was OK. The SPA experience was really nice.

Great place staff very friendly. Rooms very clean. Food was excellent.
