We always travel and plan a bunch of excursions and other activities. This time we just wanted to sit by the beach and relax. This was the place for that. The vibe was amazing, the ppl were great, the food was excellent. We sat by the beach for hrs listening to music from the DJ. Could not have said for a better trip.

The staff is incredibly rude. Our flight got delayed for a day, and the hotel will not reimburse me. I’ve reached out to orbitz and the hotel, due to the hotels unwillingness to answer, they will not refund me. The girls at the front didn’t give me a towel card or WiFi password. The same food is served the next day. Also our bed room sheets had stains already in them.

Hotel was fine , service great also , Food is ok the buffet but not good the signature restaurants availability , out of 5 nights we used them just 3 , every time you want to book they were packed on reservation , and they open 1-2 restaurants at night,,then the other 2 where closed , when the hotel was full , also those guys on kayaks selling weed don’t let you use the ocean with privacy , complete unacceptable

Everything was fantastic. The staff, rooms, amenities and food were just top notch. It was my first stay at Riu in over 25 years of traveling to Jamaica and I will definitely go back. The entertainment was wonderful and I especially enjoyed the Michael Jackson show.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the food was good. The resort is close to the airport so expect planes to be flying overhead on the beach the whole day. Employees here can accept tips but the resort didn’t have an ATM, so make sure you bring cash if you plan to tip your workers. The employees were all super friendly. Lastly, this hotel has constant cruise-type entertainment and music playing, so if you want a quiet relaxing trip, it might not be the place for you.

The buffet areas were actually really great here! This is the first time I’ve said that about an AI, but breakfast, lunch, and dinner options were really the best part of this resort. Room was nice and A/C ran perfectly. We had an oceanfront king room, it was basic and above one of the swim up pools. The pool closes quite early so there won’t be a lot of noise from that, which was great. The main buffet was 2 floors below us and there was never any extra noise or food smells, which was great having it so close to us.
