Wonderful food, entertainment, and drinks!

I loved everything about my stay. No complaints.

The Riu Palace Jamaica was one of the best resorts we’ve stayed at. The staff, food, rooms, pools and grounds were all fantastic. If you are looking for a more low-key, yet fun type of time, definitely stay at the Riu Palace. We had access to the two other Riu resorts on either side of the Palace (Riu Montego Bay and Reggae) which definitely have more of the spring break party vibe to them while the Riu Palace is a little bit more quite. It was awesome to have the ability to go onto the other two resorts for a more lively party scene but then leave and head back to the Palace to get out of it. The event staff at the Palace always made sure there was stuff going on around the pool and at the Aqua Bar. Whether it be trivia, pool volleyball, water aerobics, competitions and games, yoga on the beach or live performances we had fun doing it all. Everyone was incredibly nice and all of the staff made you feel so welcomed. We will most definitely go back!

Good resort and good foods

Excellent is an understatement!!! Everyone and everything was absolutely amazing! I absolutely loved and enjoyed my time in Jamaica

Having access to the other resorts

Staff was amazing

The resort is nowhere near a five start resort as advertised. The food is mediocre at best, with the exception of the jerk chicken served at lunch. The staff is rude and seems bothered when you ask for something, even though you are at an all inclusive resort. The people working at the door of the restaurant seem to have a power trip. Being turned away from the “specialty restaurants” because they were full. You can ask to be put on the waitlist but they do not offer up front. They make it seem as they can’t seat you. After staying at the Riu Palace in Playa del Carmen, I was extremely disappointed. The resort is not as nice as the Montego Bay resort next door. Everything about that resort looks better and is less expensive. Palace guest can go over there and we spent most days on their beach/pools. The one bright spot is Dr. Phil and Jamaar, who work in the Buffett. They are great at what they do. They are friendly and will make sure you have what you need. Remembers your drink orders and what you like every morning.

The property was very nice and it was great to have access to two additional resorts while accessing our very own resort. The food was not as pleasing but we managed and certain restaurants not opened on the resort was a bit disturbing. I was very bothered by finding a live roach in my room fridge area but they moved my room immediately just had me uneasy the rest of the trip and disgusted hopefully I didn’t bring anything back to my home but overall a nice last minute getaway

Staff was amazing. Food could have been better. Unhappy that we were not given a refund for our missed night due to flight issue.

I love the staff, everyone was very helpful. I didn't like the dining option. The buffet was okay a lot of repeats. As for the specialty restaurants they were horrible, very very small, couldn't make reservation, it was a first come first serve, but no matter the time you get there you still had to wait hours. Also the vibe in the specialty restaurants was weird, I could sense it from everyone.

Beautiful Clean and great service.

The staff were always polite. The food and drinks are amazing! Especially the jerk chicken and Blue mountain coffee martini!!

Great place

This resort was clean

Overall the stay was well. I would recommend this hotel. However my stay had a few issues. Our room was not cleaned prior to arrival. We entered the room after checkin and there were dirty towels, used soap bar and cleaning rags laying on the tub. The staff immediately upgraded to a different room. Next our room TV started smoking after 10 minutes of turning it on. It was immediately replaced. The room temperature was hard to keep steady. Either too cold or too hot. Food was great, but not a lot of variety. Hotel is very close to the Airport, so expect lots of constant jet noise takeoffs and landings.

Love this place, we will be back! The staff was amazing and so attentive to your needs!

chill environment. food and drink great.. must big up my server for breakfast and lunch Ardly.. Thanks for everything man.

Dear Tiffany, Thank you for leaving us your feedback after your stay with us. At RIU, guests can use some facilities of our neighboring hotels as long as they are of equal or inferior categories. Our Palace brand, is our highest category of hotels and we are glad that it was a plus for you to be able to use the neighbouring facilities. We hope to see you again in the future, as we would love to get a 100% rating from you next time. Kind regards Hotel Riu Palace Jamaica Online Reputation Manager
