RIU Negril has a beautiful beach, great pools, and amazing entertainment, but the customer service needs serious improvement. Dining staff were inattentive, bar service was poor everywhere except the lobby bar, and the front desk wasn’t welcoming or helpful. Room cleaning was inconsistent and below standard. The outdoor areas and activities made the stay enjoyable, but the overall service left a lot to be desired.

There was a roach in one of the restaurants. The hallway entrance to my room had a horrible smell. The entertainment was the best thing. Service at some the restaurants was very poor.

I liked everything about the hotel only exception is having to do the stairs all the time no option of an elevator especially when you have your luggage. I know there are some men available who can assist you could at least have an elevator on each of the buildings. Another thing the availability of towels that we use when we go to the pool and ocean. Otherwise from these two everything was excellent. Food exceptional bed very comfortable.

Someone entered my room while I was away for breakfast, security was called but I was not given a report from the investigation. Therefore the building is not safe anyone can enter your room and the security team will not do anything about it. And when booking for a family room I paid for my 10yr son with Expedia up on arrival I was told my son was not paid for therefore I had to pay for him again at the resort.

I like how there are many food options and cocktails as well. I like how there were different activities at night, white party was the best. I just don’t like that my room was in the 3rd floor as I have a 4 year old child with me. But otherwise, the whole experience was superb.
