Location on the beach. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed.

I loved how quaint this property was! It was a few steps through luscious greenery to the beach. The staff was friendly and since it is a smaller place it was easy to get to know the guests and names of the employees. I was on this trip alone so it felt super comfortable and at home away from home. I had an amazing trip and would recommend to anyone looking for paradise, without the big resort all inclusive feel. Excursions were fun and the hotel offers a driver who can take you wherever you want to go. This was my first time in Jamaica and it was nothing short of spectacular, I would definitely come back to Country Country.

We had a wonderful time at Country Country! The property is beautiful, peaceful, jungle-like. We had a great spacious room, ocean-front. The staff was always cheerful and friendly. The beach along this property is fantastic and spacious, and set back very nicely from the main walking area so you are not bothered by vendors, unless you want to buy something! We enjoyed fresh lobster on the beach several days in a row. There is great jerk chicken just down the road. We had a great time and will return to this property!

Nice hotel in a beautiful beach. Staff at front desk wasn't that nice. Cleaning and restaurant staff were friendly and diligent.

Wonderful location with very friendly staff. The free breakfast is good and a great way to start the day. Thisbis a small and personal resort. There are many return customers.

We travel often and this is the first time I am writing a review. I rely on reviews when making reservations and for the most part they are accurate, therefore, I don't feel it's necessary to add one. This time, none of the reviews expressed concern on the negatives we experienced. We are a family of 5 with three teenagers, so we booked two joining rooms. We arrived to find out the resort didn't have joining rooms and our two rooms assigned were very far from each other. The larger of the two rooms was the farthest from the beach and directly on the busy and extremely noisy road. The rooms don't have windows to block noice, so you hear everything outside at all hours... conversations, walking, sweeping, linen carts (very early), music, kids yelling (very early), tons of honking (if near the road), etc. I love the open air concept, but wasn't warned about the road noise and extremely loud (as if the DJ was in my room) Margaritaville DJ dance party Thur., Fri. ('till 2:00 a.m.) & Sat., it was way too loud! Nearby resorts are petitioning to require Margaritaville lower the volume, but unsuccessful so far. Staff were all wonderful, the resort is lovely, has great food, and has an amazing beach and location. We were moved to the very best oceanfront room on our third day and it was amazingly beautiful, but again, no sleep due to music. Also, the beach towel dance is true, we turned in towels as requested at the end of each day and didn't receive beach towels 3 of 7 days.

What a wonderful place! It’s the 3rd time I’ve stayed at Country Country. The cottages are wonderful with verandas. The staff is great, so kind and friendly. High recommend

This hotel is very close to beautiful beaches and walking distance to many restaurants/shops. While it was low-key and relaxing, the rooms, furniture and linen could use some updating. The front desk staff was unfriendly and seemed annoyed by guest questions. Overall it was an okay stay but has room for improvements.

The staff was excellent. They all remembered me from previous visits and made me feel welcomed. Some of the older rooms need to be updated. The grounds were beautiful. Security was very good. The only negative was the extremely loud music coming from Margaritaville at night. I would definitely return.

The cottages were very comfortable and cozy. The only issue we had was after a storm with heavy rain, the room we were in originally had a water leak which required us to be moved. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast and staff (Especially Lamon). The pool was a little dated but with the beautiful white sand beach and crystal blue water steps away, it was not an issue. The big disappointment was the beach in front of the resort was a public beach and because of it you are badgered on a regular daily basis from Jamaicans attempting to sell everything from fruit to cigarettes and marijuana, jewelry, meat cakes and lobster. This resort is also next to Margaritaville which has a loud DJ every afternoon and an extremely loud party with blaring music every Friday night. Overall very pleased with this trip.

I had a really good experience. I arrived late and arrangements were made so that I could gain access to my room. The staff was very helpful beyond their job related responsibilities...the battery went dead in my rental and the security guard and cook got wires to give me a boost (neither had a hand out or made mention of any payment). The restaurant staff was very accommodating and the food was good. I will definitely book this property again...Loved it!!!

The property was so stuntingly cute, it's not a big resort but it definitely got the job done. The staff were polite and attentive and the added bonus you were right on the beach. If you don't want to eat at the property and just want to venture out, you got plenty of option near by. The bar guy Andre was terrific and welcoming, as well as Audley. I will certaintly recommend here and return.

Grounds are very well maintained, rooms are clean and furnished well. Jamaican breakfast was yummy. Location was idea, close to Margaritaville if you wanted action but still quiet. Major complaint is Wifi service which was not available in rooms but was suppose to be available restaurant, bar area and a wifi lobby. The wifi hardly worked, could not sent pictures and got dropped frequently. They said they were working on this but it needs to get done quickly. I rated hotel facilities a 3 because of this.

Nice hotel, rooms a little dated but the staff was excellent, food was good and close to the beach :)

Just visited country country in mid October 2014. Was here in March as well. Cottages are well appointed and clean. Staff was very helpful and courteous at all times. The beach is absolutely incredible, the property itself is relatively quiet but excitement lies only steps away if that's what you're looking for. Would return again and again in plan to visit in February.
