I experienced a moldy room, smell was unbearable orbitz and the hotel was notified and I still had to stay in that moldy room until the morning and complain to the front desk to change my room out. Customer service at that this hotel and orbitz is terrible. Hopefully nothing goes wrong on your trip because it is a beautiful property just some updating would be great and retraining of the front desk to handle issues that aren’t common would be great!

The scenery was very beautiful and calm. The staff were very friendly

I stayed at the Royalton for 7 nights over Christmas and I have a large list of things that the resort could improve on. First, is the diamond club upgrade. We did a diamond club room with a swim out pool, which we couldn't do more than dip our toes in because it was so cold. Our butler that came with our upgrade was very unhelpful. We needed very limited help compared to what we saw other butlers doing for their guests. Ours took half a day to respond. On our last day we walked down to a local bar and saw him there, which is probably why he wasn't helpful during our stay! It was also almost impossible to get water bottles in our room. The first day I had to call room service four times and visit the diamond club lounge to get them delivered. If you are a coffee drinker, definitely stay away from this resort. While the rooms do have a hidden coffee maker, the resort doesn't provide coffee to be able to use it. Your only choice is to walk to the main building every morning and stand in a 20 minute line at the café. Well really, its a café / gelato shop, but unfortunately they don't keep the gelato stocked. The bars around the resort are also not well stocked. Be prepared to walk from bar to bar if you would like something super tricky like a morning mimosa or afternoon margarita to drink. There is much more to add here, but not enough space. I wouldn't stay here again and I would recommend everyone else stays away! DEFINITELY not a 4 star hotel and not worth the price!

This was our 2nd trip to Royalton Negril and we would not hesitate to go again. From the moment you step foot on the property, the staff is very welcoming and helpful. Our room was amazing and it was very quiet. The Vibe crew worked very hard day and night to keep the guests entertained. There are a variety of restaurants at the resort and the food is very good. Overall, we would recommend this resort.

The elevator in building 2 was broken from the time I got the Oct 6. Throughout my entire stay Oct 13. As well as the phone in my room. I complained several times to no avail. We walked up and down the steps. The food was edible however not that great at any of the restaurants. Also we had to go from bar to bar to find the kind of vodka we drank, because they are were not stocked the same. However they did all the area clean.

I like the jacuzzi is in the rooms and the food at Calypso was great

The room was excellent and the food was superb! Staff was courteous especially Cerryann who made our stay especially comfortable.

I loved the staff and overall service...still waiting on my $200 deposit I have yet to receive but overall had a wonderful time and would love to revisit indefinitely...

When we went we booked with Orbitz. I had put six people on an eight bed presidential suite. Four of them were children. Somehow Orbitz in the Royalton messed up the reservation. Only my wife and I were added to it not our children. When we got to the resort we were told the boys could not stay and they would not honor our reservation unless we paid another $2340. They had us over a barrel. We were there at 3 o’clock paid the extra money. Then, even though check in was at three our rooms were not ready and we were forced to sit in the lobby until they were clean. They would not even give us our bracelets even though I had paid. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told I could but did not get a call until the next day. When the manager did call I explained the situation. After she heard the story, she told me it was not their problem but Orbitz. I tried to get a hold of Orbitz multiple times but was unable to do so. Tried emailing, and calling. When I called all I got was a we will call you back. Then I sat on hold for a half hour twice and hung up. When we got to our room it smelled musty and wet.We had stayed here the year before so we came back with high expectations.They were not even close to met. Half of the staff acted like they did not want to be there. The other half was decent. Every time we either went to the beach or the pool or even walk the halls we were harassed by someone trying to sell either spa treatments, vacation club, or some sort of excurs
