When we went we booked with Orbitz. I had put six people on an eight bed presidential suite. Four of them were children. Somehow Orbitz in the Royalton messed up the reservation. Only my wife and I were added to it not our children. When we got to the resort we were told the boys could not stay and they would not honor our reservation unless we paid another $2340. They had us over a barrel. We were there at 3 o’clock paid the extra money. Then, even though check in was at three our rooms were not ready and we were forced to sit in the lobby until they were clean. They would not even give us our bracelets even though I had paid. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told I could but did not get a call until the next day. When the manager did call I explained the situation. After she heard the story, she told me it was not their problem but Orbitz. I tried to get a hold of Orbitz multiple times but was unable to do so. Tried emailing, and calling. When I called all I got was a we will call you back. Then I sat on hold for a half hour twice and hung up. When we got to our room it smelled musty and wet.We had stayed here the year before so we came back with high expectations.They were not even close to met. Half of the staff acted like they did not want to be there. The other half was decent. Every time we either went to the beach or the pool or even walk the halls we were harassed by someone trying to sell either spa treatments, vacation club, or some sort of excurs

Got double billed and they forgot after sever reminders ro get me the stuff I paid for. They know they messed up and offered ya everything under the sun to make it right except for the overcharge back

I stayed with my husband and 6mth old daughter for a wedding on Feb 1st 2020. The resort was very clean, up to date, super friendly and great service from DYLan!!. We got a crib for the baby, amazing room services, rides to and from the wedding, laundry bags, slippers. It was amazing and was a dream come through THANK YOU

Staff was wonderful and pleasant. Food was very good. Kids club was amazing. Resort was clean and we'll kept. My family truely enjoyed themselves and we highly recommend!

This property is a 5* in my book, from the moment I got off the motor coach I was pampered from check in to check out. Fast check in and out. friendly staff a beautiful suite with a beach view. My concierge Esther Price was outstanding from check in to check out and made my stay more memorable by ensuring my time at the Royalton Negril was enjoyable . I’ll definitely consider this hotel for my next vacation

I liked everything about the resort from the staff, down to the amenities. It was an amazing experience.

The friendliest staff ever. My favorites were the entertainers and the bartenders. My experience wouldn’t have been the same without them. My new family. Can’t wait to see you when we come back soon ❤️ Jamaica Jamaica ❤️

I’ll start on a positive note and say the kids had a great time. The kiddie pool was perfect for them. However, the paint at the edge of the pool was chipping and falling into the pool which is concerning. The kids also loved going to the kids club. Their ages ranged from 3-8. The vibe team was great with the kids! The rooms were nice and most of the staff was friendly. At check in, staff was not the friendliest at the front desk. They failed to remind me that I was due $600 resort credit for both rooms. When I went to redeem the next day I was met with much hesitation and I had to keep proving that I was owed this. Once I finally got it I was extremely disappointed to find that it was not really credits but actually coupons to use for a discount in a few areas of the resort... like $25 off of a spa treatment that costs $140. The coupons were such small amounts you would never finish them all on your stay. And I was there 8 days. So the resort credits of $600 is a lie. I then tried to use the coupon they offer to upgrade the rooms. For 3 days I was told they had no upgrade to accommodate me. Every one I spoke to said something different. Not one person was able to provide all of my upgrade options and they did not seem to want to help me upgrade either. So I asked if I could use this towards something else and they said no. So basically I had $1200 is resort credits and used $0. Such a sham. Lastly, Please offer MORE Jamaican food.

The staff is amazing and so friendly. We meet some of the most talented severs we have ever had. We had dinner 3 times at the steakhouse just to see Venny! Our young son was very excited every morning to see Aaron for breakfast he made us feel like family. The staff and the beach is the reason why we will be back again.

Very nice and helpful staff. Everyone serviced you like you were royalty. The food was absolutely fabulous.

Booked 2 ocean view rooms with king size beds however, upon check in we were taken to 2 rooms with a horrendously strong chemical smell with double beds overlooking a children's water slide and cement playground! We immediately called the front desk to explain our dilemma and was met with the rudest women on the other end. Instead of HELPING us sort our situation and getting us into the room category we paid for- she said, "well Ma'am we are completely booked up. Maybe tomorrow if we have a room available with an ocean view we can move you." I promptly told her that was not acceptable. We spent hours traveling and my dad who is 70 has a tough time walking as it is! We paid for an ocean view room and we should receive an ocean view room. She said, hold on and passed me to another women on the phone. This woman was even ruder, she explained to me again that the hotel was oversold and that the room we were in was in fact an ocean view room then incredulously said, "can you not see the ocean"?! Finally we were passed to a manager who apologized and offered us the correct room. She asked us if we could wait just a moment while they sort the room. THAT WAIT TURNED INTO 5 HOURS!! We did not get in our rooms until 8:37pm!! Then once we finally did get escorted to our rooms, my father's room smelled bad and MY ROOM WAS FILTHY and being cleaned! The cleaning staff did not leave my room until 10:35 pm. Needless to say we lost our entire 1st day of vacation due to their inefficiency!
