The staff were genuinely wonderful, the design of the property is beautiful, and we loved the beach and weather — all real highlights of our stay!! That said, the property itself feels run down and didn’t meet expectations in several practical areas. Beach towels were very limited (some days there were none available), parts of the pool furniture looked quite worn, and there were inconsistencies with basic amenities — for example, one day there were no eggs at breakfast, and on two days we received no fresh towels or shampoo and had to track these down ourselves. The bedding also really needs updating, as the pillows were very old and uncomfortable. With better maintenance and more consistent hospitality standards, this could be a fantastic property. We hope these issues are addressed, as the potential here is strong. The hotel has real potential for a 5* star experience with a few updates:) The staff were amazing!

Managers are treating the employees very poorly they are really hard working people but the managers not so much sadly.shower was cold the entire stay and we only had one robe for 2 people in the room we also had to ask for shower gel and shampoos as well as towels because the maid would sometimes forget.but overall very nice stay

I I've stayed at many all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica, but I think this one had the worst food variety, taste, and room service. The water pressure in the shower was also very weak, making it difficult to take a proper shower. Furthermore, there was no hairdryer in the room. However, the staff were all very nice.

Honestly it wasn’t a bad experience, the rooms were well kept, breakfast was amazing every day, the only problem i had was that i wanted to play pickleball on the tennis court and didn’t get to since it wasn’t set up and wouldn’t be set up before i left and the swim up bar for building 1&2 in adults only zone was closed, other than that i enjoyed my stay, pools were amazingggg and the beach was really nice

We were placed in the wrong room the first day and had to spend hours at the front desk to get them to switch the room. The property is beautiful and runs parallel to the beach, but rooms are not well maintained. Most restaurants are closed or have very limited hours. Food is bland, but that is expected for an inclusive resort. Restaurant servers/concierge/bellhops are all friendly. But initially being placed in a terrible room ruined the experience for me and my wife.

December 29, 2025. On two different days we had no towels in the room even after they placed us on what they called the "Priority" list. There was always a shortage of pool towels so we had to reuse those. One day there was no housekeeping. One day they failed to restock the minibar. There were not enough restaurants opened so the wait to get in was long and the wait to get your food was even longer. The meals in the restaurants were slim pickings meaning there was bare minimum and nothing fancy at all. The bottom line is STAY AWAY...They should not have opened. They should have done what Royalton did was to wait until the hotel and staff were 110% ready for customers. Azul went cheap and its guests like us are the ones who suffered.

Ok experience, bed was felt worn out. Dining room was close so over 40 mins wait to get dinner at the restaurant. No night time entertainment and limited daytime entertainment. Front desk hard to het on the phone.
