This hotel was absolutely terrific. It had all the amenities we could ask for. Clean rooms, above and beyond service, and a genuine staff that really truly cared about our well being. Not to mention this hotel has the best and bluest beach in all of Negril..

If you go to Jamaica you have to stay on 7 mile beach, couples sweet away is the best choice

While this resort is clean, and the food is pretty good, there is really very little privacy. Everything is on top of each other, so if you are looking for romance, it's a little hard to find. MOST IMPORTANT- if you book an Atrium Suite- ask for second floor and FAR AWAY (as far as you can get) from the restaurant. The rooms are very open with plantation shutters and screens- which to me felt extremely exposed especially on the first floor. Then they moved us to a second floor room- right next to the main restaurant (where they do the nightly entertainment) While maybe some people like being lulled to sleep by a cover band playing "Lady Marmalade" and being awoken at 1:00 am and 6:00 am by the sounds of dishes clanging- that wasn't for us. We upgraded (at our own cost BTW) to a beach front room with was much more private and quiet. Overall, we enjoyed our trip. The beach is great, and I found the staff friendly. I think I would go back with a group of friends.

You have a wonderful staff! And the grounds were absolutely beautiful!

great stay for my 60th birthday and Christmas. the entire staff was wonderful. the food was superior to other all inclusive we have stayed at. plenty of holiday cheer. scuba staff was awesome. we highly recommend this resort.

We started our stay with the Reggae Marathon, which started and ended just up the road. It was a great kickoff to one of the best vacations we've ever had at one of the loveliest locations we could imagine. We stayed in a Garden Verandah Suite, and while it was a little noisy near the road, it was everything we needed. We had breakfast on our patio every morning, swam/ran/worked out at the fitness center before the day got too hot, and then spent the rest of our time by the various pools and on the beach. The food was wonderful--fresh and delicious--and the variety of restaurants and the menu changes kept it interesting. The expansiveness of the resort meant it never felt crowded, and the staff were wonderful in keeping everything running smoothly and happily.

We had a garden room, the road noise did not bother us. It helped to have the air going along with ceiling fan. The room was comfortable, we enjoyed our morning coffee each day. The beach was lovely, we had fun floating in the sea several times a day. The food was good. We enjoyed Feathers the most, service was very good. The wait staff works hard to please. We had a great time. I would visit this resort again. The extra amenities are a huge plus. We had fun snorkeling three times, sunset cruise, paddle boards, brass band, etc. Dinner was sometimes confusing, was buffet at Palms or Patios? It was probably posted somewhere, it was a guess each night. The bars were fun. The drinks and service was best at swim up bar. One guy, did more work than three or four at the beach bar. We felt ignored a few times at beach bar, the one closest to swim up bar. This trip was close to perfect, nothing to get upset over.

This was our 4th visit to CSA but this time was on our baby moon. Everything was amazing as always, particularly the food. The lobster was as delicious as it was on our last visit. Lemongrass was a favorite again as well but we were impressed with Feathers cuisine. Catamaran cruise is highly recommended; always fun watching cliff divers jump at Rick's and swimming through caves. Downside: Watch your belongings! I thought money missing from my husband's wallet could have been a miscalculation on our previous visit, but when my Raybans from our room disappeared after room cleaning and phone charger from cabana disappeared there seems to be a theft problem. We reported the missing sunglasses hopeful they accidentally got picked up under a towel and checked every day but they were never turned in. We were in a hurry to make the Catamaran and I left my Jackery and phone charger under our cabana, but by the time we came back they were gone. My bad I suppose for being too trustworthy.

Resort was quite nice. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Beautiful beach and several activities included in the all inclusive. We are definitely planning on visiting Couples Swept Away again.

It was amazing. Everyone was so nice and willing to help out. They were full of smiles and when we asked for things, they didn't make it seem like we were bothering them. We also got engaged on the beach during our dinner on the beach. Perfect vacation!

They have the best staff of anywhere I've ever been!

This trip was in celebration of my husbands 40th birthday. We booked six days at Couples Swept Away based on a recommendation from a family member who honeymooned there 10 years ago. On the whole, it was an OK trip, but I just really didn't like to constant level of harassment from the locals. The resort was nice. The amenities were nice. The food was better than the other all-inclusive resort in the Bahamas we've stayed at before. The beach was nice, but a little more crowded than I cared for. The worst part was that I felt I could never really relax because we were constantly being watched by the locals who want to hit you up to sell weed or jewelry or trinkets etc. Sure, you tell them no and they walk off, but not a few minutes later, another one is hitting you up. It's a constant barrage. There is a ton of security guards, and they will chase off locals who become to harassing- but I don't want to have to be bothered over and over again in the first place. Besides, we heard that if you want to buy weed, the security guards are actually the best ones to buy it from. My other major complaint was the road noise. The one main highway that travels around the island is less than a half mile from the beach. Unfortunately for us, our room backed right up to this road. The buses, vans and motorcycles are roaring by at all hours of the day and night- and it sounded like they were driving right thru the room. Seriously we could not even hear the TV in our own room, much less get a restful nights sleep. It was also a little annoying how the resort staff were constantly pushing for the up-sell on most every activity- and conveniently, most of the things we were interested in weren't included but could be done for an additional fee. I don't want to knock Couples Swept Away- it was a nice place, but I don't think I'll be visiting Jamaica again.

Awesome place, great people, great food, lots of free included activities, night snorkeling is extra but highly recommended. Very beautiful would love to go back.

Couples Swept Away-Negril has an exceptional location and many positive features. I commend the staff for being knowledgeable and polite. There were many activities available for hotel guests, and I enjoyed both excursions I took (a Catamaran Cruise and a road trip to Rick's Cafe) immensely. The best part of the resort was the beautiful white sand beach and blue water. There were many different dining options, and I particularly enjoyed the fine dining establishment, Feathers. Now, some of the negative attributes. One, the event staff in particular made several promises of different events (i.e. 4th of July fireworks, etc.), that never materialized. Why bother trying to get us to come out to an event if nothing is going on? Two, while I understand the beach is public and the resort cannot block musicians or other hawkers from the beach, by the end I was tired of constantly rejecting offers for, ahem, recreational products. Three, I was underwhelmed by the cleaning staff. Out of the five nights I was there, I believe our bathroom was cleaned once. Here again, other aspects of the room were cleaned daily, but the bathroom didn't get a thorough cleaning. When you are out at the beach all day and return covered in sand and sweat, it would be nice if the bathrooms were cleaned daily. Overall, I really enjoyed our trip and I would recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for a beautiful Caribbean beach for relaxation.

It was our Honeymoon and a Fabulous one!!!!! Great Trip!!! Going again soon!

This place was beautiful, location was excellent. the staff was friendly and very helpfull money well spent will come back soon

Couples will transport you for free from the airport. After you check immediately (Before you go to your room) book your catamaran and glass bottom boat excursions. Also book you entree restaurants and get them as early in your trip as possible (Feathers and Lemon Grass). You cannot re-book until you have had your first dinner. Do not book a dinner on Saturday. This is lobster night (Go to the Palms Restaurant) Monday is International Night which should not be missed unless you are going to the Repeaters Dinner (For Those who have been to Couples Before A do not miss). Sea Grapes is by far the best place to eat at lunch (Service is slow if you order Fish Taco or Fish Sandwich - Both I highly recommend). They have a orientation at 10:00AM and 5:00PM which you really need to go to every-time you stay at a couples. The Health Club / Sports area is probably the best in all the Carribian, I took up Tennis again (Free Lessons every day) . The running track and workout areas are top notch. Lap Pool is wonderful. Golf is also available for a small fee. Massages are best offsite about $1.00 per minute. At the beach facing the Ocean go left off property and you will find many massage opportunities. Down-side: The Pools are not very nice and are very small. Everything here is about the beach and the sand. There are a number of hot tubs but often the temperature was turned off or down and were only in the low 90's. Both times we have stayed we had problems getting the Liquor / Soft drinks we ordered for the room. Even seeing the concierge did not help. We have stayed at Couples Resorts 3 times and are planing to go back again in October to Jamaica. If you have any questions please send me a message. The smaller catamarans are also enjoyable and they will take you out or you many take them on your own. Rooms: We prefer the Atrium Rooms with their large patios or decks (There are no Televisions in these rooms) Ask for a quite area. Do not stay near the Palms Restaurant (Loud at night and loud in the AM) This Room is only slightly more than the lowest price room and well worth the difference. Room Tip: I am High on the Atrium Rooms. Do not stay near the Palms Restaurant.

This hotel is just ok. Very overrated. Food was not good. Service in restaurants was slow. Rooms in front of resort are on a busy road and extremely noisy. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. Entertainment staff cancel events without notice. Very disappointing experience for the price. 3 star experience at best. Negril beach is beautiful though.

clean beach, no seaweed clean pool clean room, no bugs, minimal mosquitoes even at night not crowded, no teenagers everyone is mature, not many people in their 20's or 30s, mostly 40+. average food, no incidence of food poisoning good selection of mixed drinks people on the beach: always trying to sell you something, can be annoying at times water activity people always trying to sell you an "extra package" and hustle you overall: if you don't mind the food and just want a nice clean beach with good drinks and not have to worry about food poisoning this is the resort for you. Get the Oceanfront room its worth the money.
