Just needed a place to rest for the night, would recommend this place for that..

The view was awesome seeing the Sun set and the ocean was gorgeous but my night stay there was miserable the power went out and it was hot and sticky for at least 6 hours overall was a pleasant stay.

VERY NICE PLACE FOR THE PRICE NO COMPLAINTS. WOULD STAY AGAIN.

Nice little hotel this was our 3rd stay. Great value wonderful staff. Love the buffets and yummy frosty dirty bananas and pina coladia. You can see the water from most rooms.

Stayed in Montego Bay, Kingston and finally in Negril to cap off our honeymoon. Before getting to the Fun Holiday Beach Resort, we knew not to expect a five star hotel, but what we couldn't have expected was the five star treatment from the staff. We were treated like royalty, thanks to the manager, Marlene Chung, Keisha Wiggen at the front office, Lloyd Brown, the bartender, the entire kitchen and waiting staff, and the security and grounds crew. It was an amazing 3 day stay and we will definitely be revisiting this FUN HOLIDAY BEACH RESORT again. The staff is well mannered and very accommodating. The food was always DELICIOUS, glasses were never empty, and every service was completed with a smile. Thanks a lot!

Nice budget hotel, if you want 4 stars do not stay here. The food was good the rooms clean the beach perfect. We are returning for our third visit next week. Great staff who do the best with what they have. Not big drinkers so the AI bar was fine for us.

place needs good management that sums it up. And Bachas is a Dyck he should update this place. its run down. the BAR (what bar) sucks, breakfast and lunch is ok. dinner is garbage. becaful of the security gaurd the heavy set one he will set up the taxi guys to hustle you for way more than what the cost is.

My husband and I had an awsome time at Fun Holiday! The office help were friendly, the cleaning staff was great. We got fresh towels everyday. We emailed before we arrived to ask for a fridge and 2 blankets (i read other reviews about only a sheet on the bed) and we did receive them right away! The first night we did eat at the hotel, but did not do the all inclusive and it was alright. We did get to see the buffets for the all inclusive and it didn't look to bad. People seemed to enjoy it. The hotel did have nightly entertainment a few times while we were there and the karaoke night was a blast. Neil Diamond sang in a jamaican accent was great!! Also heard reggae! The karaoke/dj/singer guy got a lot of people involved, if they wanted too. We had a lot of fun. Not a lot of drink variety, but redstripes worked for us. The pool was large and clean with a swimup bar that we enjoyed a couple times. The rooms are very simple, but clean. No clock, hairdryer(can get at office), or phone. The front desk did make a couple calls for us for no charge. The beach was small and fabulous! Clear clean beautiful water. Loved swimming there and just looking at the water. There were a couple guys on the property to taxi you around. Stephen took us into the mountains to Mayfield Falls for 25$ a person (4 of us) and the ride there was well worth that price. It was an 1 hour and a half drive. He explained everything we saw or asked about. Very interesting. He waited for us too, about an hour or soo. We used his services quite a bit. This hotel has a great location. Myrnas store for cheap beer 1.40, beach then take a left. Restaurants and bars everywhere. We felt very safe and would also bring our kids the next time. We definately would stay here for the price again. We had a great time.

it was very good staff was friendly we have a very good time

Staff at the hotel were quite friendly. The location is ideal - with perfect views of the ocean, sunrise and sunset; and walk from room to the beach. Like many Jamican houses, the ouside of the hotel lloks nice and comfortable. (Yes, I am Jamican.) The room, however, was much to be desired, especially the bathroom! I find it incredible that we have to rent refrigerator, microwave and even the coffeepot! Luckily I needed none of these for the few days I spent in Jamaica. It bears well to the addage - "you get what you pay for..."

It was a very low budget but exciting vacation getaway the food was good The service was ok The location was in a good spot for all our needs The hotel and beach were kept clean Nice little low budget place to stay

My experience at the hotel was good and the beach was very nice. The only problem was too much vendors at the beach and they are a bit bothersome. Some of them wont take no for an answer. There are also hustlers on the beach, not good.

Well the staff is awesome, they try to b helpful. The security kept a look out for the people who try to get u to buy stuff. The lady at the desk got us a early check in which was super. The pool is well kept and the beach is right in front which was the best! The only bad thing About the hotel was the food, there was none. I didn't get the inclusive package but I hoped to b able to purchase food but there wasn't any besides fried chicken which I can get at home anytime so I wasn't having tht. I guess the ppl who got the inclusive ate all the food if any, made me feel like the food was scarce. I had to go hunt for food lol. I'll definitely come back again but I'll pack plenty of snacks this time

This was the worst vacation , I book for oceanview room and I get the regular room , the food was so bad , poor , everyday the same, they have only 4 diferent kind of drinks. The only thing nice there was the ocean . But the hotel was horrible.

on the beach and not overcrowded. It was off=season so privacy prevailed.Clear pristine waters, beautiful sunsets and terrific nightlife!

There wasnt anything special about the hotel other than the staff. The receptionist and the female server they have was really nice and also well manner.

Good location, right in the center of the Negril strip. Good place if you are only interested in a place to lay your head. The staff is great and try their best to accommodate the guests. However, the hotel could benefit from a well needed renovation as it is in need of repair.

The staff there was really nice and friendly. The housekeeper was amazing she done a great job with cleaning the room. The food was good so was the music. I love the candle lit all you can eat buffet dinner they had on the beach. They do have local restaurants you can try that are really good too. Security was great i felt safe staying there, they do have a local nightclub right across the street called the jungle that i really enjoyed. Overall i had i great time . I would stay there again its a nice budget hotel. If your looking for something really nice and fancy than this probably wont be the place for you..

This hotel was a complete dump. should be ashamed to even work with this hotel. The electricity went out two night while we were there leaving the whole resort dark and with out air condition. The room was filthy and disgusting. There was an alarm sound that went on every single night making it very hard to sleep. The pool was green and closed the whole vacation. I was suppose to get a one bed smoking room but upon arrival i recieved a two bed non smoking room. The front desk staff was horribly rude. Upon check in they gave me an info packet on hotel with all inclusive meal times there were three times breakfast lunch and dinner. There was also suppose to be an all inclusive grill on the beach from 11:45 am to 5pm which never happened one time. There were stray dogs and cats walking around the property. There were no phones in the rooms, in case of an emergency what was i to do? there were spiders and bugs in the disgusting, filthy room. And to top it off the phones that you could use there for international calling were broke., So i was unable to call the agency i booked with to try to switch my hotel. The coffee machine was the only thing this hotel had going for them, but guess what IT WAS BROKE! This was the worst vacation ever, and I am very disappointed.
