Good food, good drinks, nice helpful staff. Cab drivers in the front charge too much. Great security. Solid resort if your looking for basic accommodations.

I enjoyed my stay very much, the staff was very sweet and nice, the views were amazing, the local food was delicious. Great alternative to an all inclusive hotel, you get to know the real local food, the flavors and every body is very nice and relaxed So if you are looking for a little bit of paradise a little more rustic but still very comfortable this is the place to be. The only thing that I would say is that I was on a king size bed and they had very small sheets so at night the sheets would bunch, I could have said something to the administration but I was very busy enjoying everything else!

We chose Negril Palms because of its great location on Seven Mile Beach, but were very disappointed by the accommodations. The first room we had was on the first floor, beneath the stairs and right by the kitchen. So it was noisy until about 11 pm and there were ants galore! In the bathroom, on the walls, in the bed. It was horrible! We switched rooms after the first night to the second floor and thought it would be better. NO! After the first night my husband I woke up itchy from the bed sheets and it wasn't from mosquitoes. The sheets must not be very well cleaned everyday, because we've both never had an allergic reaction to linens that way. Also, the towels were pretty ragged and should be put out of use. The second room, although bigger and not by the kitchen, was very dark and just didn't give a comfortable feeling. After three nights of staying at Negril Palms, we booked another room someplace else. On our last day we overheard several guests also making plans to switch hotels like we did. Vacation should be a comfortable experience, and for us this hotel wasn't that great. It needs updating and better housekeeping, but the location is great and it has potential to be a cute little hotel if cleanliness and renovations are addressed. Disappointing for sure :\

Bad experience. That's all I have to say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would not stay in this little buggy hotel again.

Overall was a great stay at negril palms, I would definitely recommend this hotel If your staying on the strip in negril.

Nice location, food was great, atmosphere beautiful. Water pressure in the shower was very low. Unwelcomed cats on property but other than that. Very nice.

the hotel was ok good location nice beach. We paid for a deluxe room but were put in a standard room by mistake. the next day I said something and we were move to a deluxe room. The deluxe room(105) was not any upgrade in my opinion. If it were up to me I would have moved back to the standard room but I did'nt want to spend my vacation moving from room to room. The water pressure in the bathroom sink and shower was very low for all 9 days we stayed. When you took a shower the water temperature would always change from very hot to very cold the whole time you showered.

Awesome trip for my first time in Jamaica. Had a great time. Lots of great memories. Will come back to Jamaica for sure

Was nice, some of the staff we remembered and they remembered from our earlier visit this year. Was dissapointed about paying deposit when we already payed for the room this time, but she let us go with just the credit card on file. Overall, very nice place and situated nicely in middle of 7 mile beach.

great location steps to the Caribbean 7 miles of beautiful beach swimming pool right on the beach staff was great food not bad ate mostly local food love the conch oxtail soup When in Rome do as the Romans do I would recommend this hotel to anyone

We stayed 2 weeks here and started out rough. We did not get the room that we requested and said that they could not move us. Also there is no phones in the room.... thought that was odd. The only person that worked there that would go above and beyond for us was the gardener. He was fantastic. The front desk never had answers for us or would send us else where to ask someone else. But the beach was amazing and over all people were friendly.

THE STAFF IS INCREDIBLE) PERFECT LOCATION FOOD AND BEVI'S ARE PERFECT!! RIGHT ON THE BEACH BEAUTIFUL ROOMS CLEAN POOL BEST PLACE ON THE STRIP

Great staff well maintained drinks prices a little high great beach good sunset pics

we absolutely loved Negril! we will certainly be back :)

Hotel rooms are large with nice bathrooms and balconies. I was surprised about how beautiful the grounds were. The bartenders were very pleasant, the blondish Jamaican lady was the sweetest. Spa ladies got miffed if they caught wind of you going off the resort for a better price, perhaps you can haggle the price. The beach was nice, keep in mind, the 7 mile beach is public so the locals can and will be hanging around trying to sell you something all day.

The perfect place on the beach!!! Romantic, cozy, LOVED IT!!!! We plan to stay here again on our next visit to Jamaica!

Nice room and swimming pool. If you're a light sleeper, the blinds won't work for you. I could hear the music pumping from a party at a different hotel.

This was our second stay at the Negril Palms. We loved it.

Overall the hotel was good for the price. Read all the other reviews. There is a little truth in all of them. Staff was great. The people on the beach got annoying. Speaking another language would have helped :-)

We wanted to avoid the large resorts that don't have much local flavor & wound up having a great stay at Negril Palms. The location on the beach is perfectly convenient for everyrhing you want to do or see in Negril. The room was lovely, bright, comfortable - not the most prestine environment (a few ants and stains in the bathroom) but that shouldn't matter since you won't be in the room much at all anyway. Staff was friendly & there's a driver on-site (we had Audley, who was great) which made it easy to get around and made you feel safe taking the ride.
