My husband and I had a great time! So much to love about this place: the lovely treehouse-style accommodations nestled amongst the beautiful foliage, the illusive hummingbirds and tree frogs, the delicious buffet and The Chef's Table dining experience, 7-Mile Beach, the design motif throughout the resort, and the professional and friendly staff. I feel like this place is very over rated and it did not meet my expectations. Upon arrival the welcome was pretty bland. The room was clean. It did give a nice tree house feel. The bed was not comfortable and the “fully stocked fridge” had two waters, two red stripes and two coca colas. After we drank those two sodas we asked the housekeeper for two more regular coca colas and there were no more. The food was mid and very underwhelming. The buffet food at night time was pretty good however we did not enjoy the food at the two specialty restaurants. The staff was not very warm and friendly at all. The beach was beautiful but the restaurant at the beach was not good.My fifth time in Jamaica and I was ready to go home. People were ranting and raving about how wonderful this resort was but that was not my experience. I would not stay here again.

Great property and the staff was fantastic. Must do the Chef's showcase. This will be the best food. Beach service is good as well. They didba great job of providing entertainment. The property is small, so you become familiar with all of the guests and staff. I highly reccommend The Palms for a quiet relaxing getaway.

We loved our stay at the Sunset at the Palms. The property is incredibly beautiful and well kept. There is ample security and you feel very safe while you are there. They arrange all transportation for you if you leave the resort, which we utilized a couple times. They had their drivers wait for us everywhere we went, and insured they knew when we were coming back as well. The food was outstanding. Since it’s a smaller resort with around 85 rooms, the staff and cooks are local and trained very well. They prepare very authentic food. It was delicious. I came back to America missing the food, I felt a lot healthier as well while I was there. Our treehut was adorable. We had an issue with the first room we were in, but they were quick to put us in a new room and gave us a bottle of champagne as well. It was the perfect location for our honeymoon. The private beach was awesome and so relaxing. We spent so much time in the water and laying on the chairs. This is one of the best vacations I’ve ever been on! I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed!

An Unforgettable Retreat at Serenity Resort Our stay at Serenity Resort in Jamaica was the best vacation my husband and I have ever had. We are already planning to return. Arrival and Check-In From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly, and the check-in process was smooth. Accommodation The rooms and common areas were excellently maintained and very comfortable. Grounds and Landscaping The grounds were the most beautiful we have ever seen. Walking through the property felt almost spiritual, with dense, exotic, and stunning landscaping. Service Damien in the water sports area was professional and caring, especially during a medical emergency. Lynard, the groundskeeper , gave us an amazing tour and was very knowledgeable about every plant. Odien at the bar made a special drink to accommodate my cravings and was always great. Cornelius was everywhere, always greeting us with a huge smile and being very helpful. Facilities and Amenities The resort's facilities, including the pool, spa, and gym, were top-notch. Dining Experience The food was delicious with great variety, making each meal enjoyable. Overall Experience We felt at home and were sad to leave. Serenity Resort provided an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend it. We will definitely stay there again.

We can't say enough good things about everyone who works at this resort—the staff truly made our stay exceptional. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful service throughout, every team member went above and beyond. We went for our honeymoon and we paid up for a few things, but even without the place would have been exactly what we wanted. The employees work hard and are just the nicest. We will definitely return to vacation here.

Staff was attentive and friendly! Service was a bit slow at times but the customer service made up for the wait. Pros: quiet, amazing staff, calm amazing white sand private beach, patio with the jungle backdrop was serene and peaceful. Cons: no fresh juices, beach closing at 7 wasn’t ideal as we wanted to walk it at night. Activities in the evening could be more creative and fun (karaoke night was fun but only happened once).

We had an amazing time in Jamaica and loved our stay at the Palms. The laid back, quiet atmosphere among the jungle wildlife was exactly what we needed to relax. The seclusion of the resort made it feel very inviting and welcoming. The staff was absolutely amazing—friendly and tended to every need. The food was also delicious each and every meal! I definitely recommend getting reservations for the Lotus Leaf and Chefs Showcase. The short trip across the road to the beach was easy and it was nice to have a private section of the beach and water for guests only. Plus the Palms bar was right there for drinks and lunch at the beach if you so desired. We are already thinking of our next trip back!

Sunset at the Palms Resort is the ideal location if you want to relax and enjoy the island pace. This resort and the staff highlights the beauty of Jamaica and we had a great time. The staff are welcoming and attentive without being intrusive and the team under Chef Michael is amazing (Jamaica night was the best of Jamaican cuisine). Respect to the pastry chefs :)

Hotel is for lovers not party animals. Food is excellent, pool area quiet and serene. Private beach is phenomenal, great drinks and food. Wait staff and bartenders can’t be beat. Most beautiful tropical grounds in Jamaica. Rooms and beds very comfortable. Nothing like waking up to doves,woodpecker’s and goats. Rooms have flat screen tv’s but never turned on in 14 days. The Management is at your service 24/7 and very hangs on. Brenda and her ladies at the spa are exceptional. We will be back!

We felt like we were the only ones there... which was not bad. We loved it. It was there slow season. For us it was perfect. We had a wet side of the side of the bed, we think from an afternoon rain. We let them know and they moved all our stuff to another room while we went on an excursion. So perfect.not a care in the world. Food was good, drinks were awesome and they filled our 40 oz tumblers with jiggy coffee or cocktails! Total win! We will be back!

My husband and I have just returned from another wonderful week at Sunset at the Palms. Everything was perfect. The staff at this hotel go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one. It was our second time vacationing here, and there was even a dinner to welcome the "Return Guests". I thought the food was very good. I liked that there was always a Jamaican option, which allowed you to sample foods and fruits of the island. The staff here is the absolute best. Whoever does the hiring and training of the staff have done a fantastic job. Congratulations. My husband and I had the couples massage with Brenda and Sherica. We opted for the "deep tissue" massage and it was wonderful. Paul at the Piano bar is very talented, and we enjoyed listening to him play as well as listening to his funny stories and singing along. Some nights there was a Reggae band and steel pans. This resort is not for vacationers who want a more party atmosphere. The crowd tends to be older and thus a quieter vibe to the resort. The motto here is "you come as a guest; you leave as a friend; you return as family". Sunset at the Palms lives up to this motto. We will be back.
