Love the bamboo archway at night, several other great photo op locations. They are not flexible with their check in and check out times, definitely will need to leave luggage in lobby. Quite a bit of rocks in the water, and the chef could kick up the flavor on food options. The food is not terrible but it wasnt better than home cooked meals. Overal the property had adequate activities during day and night, staff was pleasant and respectful. I loved my stay, wish there were activities for kids, and the food was seasoned more food wasnt totally bland butit could be better.

This place is horrible, down from the doormen to the staff serving the food & giving out towels to the guests! Everyone is trying to scam you! When we arrived to the hotel, the first thing doorman/bellhop ask you is to please make sure we take care of them. Why ask me that? It’s not like I’m not going to tip you! You didn’t even take my bags yet & put it on the cart, but you’re already asking me for money?! What is that?! Then I get to the reception desk, my room is not ready & they tell me & my fiancé to wait at the outside bar where is that I’m already sweating for a half hour for my room to be ready! Unacceptable. Then as my room is finally ready the bellhop/doorman gets my bags & brings it to the room & of course I tipped very generously(10 dollars US) I carried my wife’s bags & he carried mine... which were two each. Then after I tipped him, he’s trying to tell me that for other fees he can personally drive us to certain spots for partying & dinner, because we shouldn’t trust the hotel services to accommodate us as they will be more expensive. Also he made sure to add that he can take us to a strip club if need be. Seriously, a strip club? Smh. Now let’s get to the pool side service, which is basically a guys that are lifeguards/cabana boys. These people were constantly harassing other guests, mainly FEMALE. The breakfast, lunch & dinner were horrible. Same bland food everyday, it’s like they recycled left overs! Limit is 1500 characters, but I CAN KEEP GOING!!!

Montego Bay itself was different than how I pictured it. It had a crowded urban feel to it, and the hotel was no different.not an oasis Front desk was pleasant but it did take an hour past our check in time to get a room.I didn't mind as much because we kept busy by eating beachside across the road which it where their all inclusive beach grill is located. We only there once our entire stay because it took FOREVER to get food as there was no real ordering system, but the food was good so I was content. Then, we hung out in the pool area which is the heart of the hotel. When we finally got our room, it was very clean. Love the floor tile! SO was super happy about that. Room cons: ours was on the fourth floor and no elevator on the property and because the hallways are basically outdoors, there were big flying insects but we only saw them mostly at night. When I saw the first one I was shocked and hotel staff responded promptly to my concerns. After that, I just accepted them. Another con, our balcony was faced toward a ruinous, ruble fueled area. Pros-We had a big balcony! So where there were cons there was always pros. Nice hotel and good value. Breakfast pro:omelette station! Con: No bacon! My boyfriend was bummed about the lack of American meats...dinner seemed repetitive and by night 3 we were over it but very nice poolside grill to make up for it. For the value, we were satisfied but you will have to spend money for excursions--none of which were located near Montego Bay.

positive: has its own private beach with a bar, lively entertainment (2/15), large rooms negative: wifi very slow (Rm 213), room was not completely ready upon arrival (ref not clean, pillows left on top of bed with no pillowcase), hot and cold water in the shower come and go in the middle of shower, food has lots of choices but low quality

Everything was very good, except food. Same food breakfast (only difference eggs), lunch and dinner and same every day. Otherwise we love the resort

Too many roaches in room and too many flies. Property is on the beach. 3 meals a day all on buffet has not alternative dining or you’ll have to pay a la carte.

The staff was friendly, but a few were over-friendly. When we were setting up near the beach, it would have been nice to do that without conversation from staff. Also, I really didn’t need someone joking about a shark in the water as we are paddling our kayak out of the cove. The front desk staff was not accommodating to my daughter turning 18. They refused to change her wristband so that she could drink. As far as I have ever known, the country in which you visit makes the drinking age, and they referred to the limit of the US as the rule. The fact that I am the parent and responsible should have been enough for the manager and front staff to accommodate our request. Overall, I really liked the proximity to the airport, the food was good, and it wasn’t overcrowded with people.

The only problems are #1. The music entertainment must accommodate to all countries not just Jamaican all day long 24 hours a day. Asked the DJ many times to play Salsa music but didn’t care inside the club. The food must also accommodate to different people. Food is good but the same type most of all days. Also and most important the majority of workers must be trained to not make the place hostile? They don’t smile or great guests when walking pass them. Employees don’t seem happy most of the time. Front desk personnel must smile more. And give more information about free dinner at Italian dinner and provide beach towels cards. Was there for a week and we asked everybody for card and never had them. Also explain cleaning room personnel to check outside balconies before turning room to another guests because I found about half pound of Marijuana on mine. Called front desk and manager took it. Place is nice but won’t be back.

Snorkeling on site was amazing! Staff was very friendly and service was exceptional.

Pros- nice grounds Cons- poor customer service, lacking in variety and quality of food, little to no amenities, mediocre room, no elevator to get to third floor, boring entertainment and inadequate parking

We love the property but there is no air conditioning in the dinning area because everything is open to the outside area. There are fans but not enough, my husband was sweating to the point of passing out from the heat. He had to keep a cool towel on his neck when ever we wanted to go and eat. The private beach and entertainment each night was a wonderful experience. Also, property is 5-7 minutes away from the Sangster International Airport.

The beach was clean well kept. Rooms clean . The service was right on target. would recommend to friends and family.

The dining area needs to be enclosed for air conditioning

I didn't like i couldn't have a guess come to my room..it's a pretty safe area to stay..and you're right next to the airport..overall i give it a 90%

The bar cooks and servers were very pleasant and made us feel at home. The beds can be more comfy though.

Everyone was nice and helpful. The food was amazing. The drinks were delicious. I had an amazing time and will be back soon.

The intimacy was good nice place to clear your head and relax the food was good too also the entertainment coordinators were cool

This property is rundown. They need serious RENOVATION. There is Mold and Mildew everywhere in the bathrooms. There was even a leak from the shower to the floor whenever you take a shower. ALL IN ALL RENOVATION IS REQUIRED. There is not beach, just a small demarcated space touted as beach. Staff are excellent.

No hand-held shower heads. Got hair wet on many occasions. Thought the fixed ones were so done with. Clogged shower drain not fixed by a maintenance person who came, saw, and disappeared. Was eventually fixed by another. The shower stall was narrow and short. No tub. Food uninspiring. Was escorted to the nether parts/estranged portion of the "dining room" because at the time my party of seven had not yet arrived so I was deemed not worthy of the main dining room. Of course I walked right back to the main hub/dining room. Too many "you can't sit there by both waitresses and once by the maitre'D. When I paid my money no such restrictions on my seating arrangement was mentioned.
