The staff was horrible and rude!

This hotel is beautiful and people are never, but I have 5 people I brought with me and my room wasn’t fully stocked neither was mini fridge Bathroom didn’t have soap had to keep calling for things and room services takes a very long time

I really wanted to love this resort/stay. But. I only just liked it. For a property that’s only 2yrs old, the rooms & bathrooms shows rapid wear & tear already. I wish I only had 1 bad mishap. But it was a few. 1. The girl at the ice cream stand (must be new), as she advised us that every restaurant needs a reservation, (though the front desk told us only 1does). She was very adamant after I was asking if she’s sure, Bc that’s not what we were told. She confirmed. There after a guy came and said it’s only 1, XYZ. We continued to get ice cream, and her disposition was poor, upon Inquiring about the flavors. We went to the restaurant (the ice cream girl gave us the wrong time), so ended up at Route 66. The host was aggressive. We accidentally touched the door to go in. She replied “don’t touch the door!” Then tried to explain her harshness. Once we sat. The main food item, would not be ready for hours. After eating, the grill began to over smoke, to the point our clothes Stunk, and my throat started to close up. At dinner, (this was the first time the staff was POLITE), this was the Indian restaurant. The supervisor: Harold and server Patrice. However, upon eating my food. I started eating on a piece of plastic. The server took it back, the chef came out, they apologized. They took an incident report. I though the hotel/front desk would follow up. But nothing. The food itself was excellent. Our shower had hair in it,& 1 staff at the buffet was rude after I asked for utensil.

Perfect vacation resort!

There’s something we all need to understand about the Jamaican culture…. They’re all very laid back and in no rush (unless they’re driving). The service when it comes to making you an omelet or pasta was very slow and sometimes you even get a dirty look from the pasta girl. The jerk hut had the longest slowest line. The property itself is beautiful BUT they don’t maintain it very well. The cushions in the dining rooms are stained with food. The canopy over the cabanas are ripped and molded. The only thing well maintained was the landscaping. The check In process was long and unorganized. They need more people on certain parts of the hotel at busier times.

The grounds were nice but kept up to par.

The service and food was trash. There was a lot of staff but only one person actually working in different areas. Jamaica is known for jerk chicken, salt fish and rice and peas. The food was garbage and after a day of eating it we sought potato chips as our dinner the next few days we stayed. The staff is extremely lax and have very bad I don’t care attitudes. We couldn’t get help with our luggage when we left nor could we get room service that was edible. Room service costs $25 after 6pm if you are not a privilege member. Most restaurants were not open. We were told by the front desk we could dine at the privilege restaurant but when we attempted to enter that side the security guard abruptly turned us around. I asked her why would we be misinformed and she said that the front desk is always telling other guests they can dine over there but you have to have a special wristband. We waited 2 hours for cold uncooked French fries and hard as a rock hot dogs and burger buns via room service. We spent over $400 a night for this hotel and left hungry and very displeased. I will be following up with corporate because we feel cheated out of a vacation. This vacation was more expensive than the higher end hotel chain the Royalton but had way less quality. Room service was declined the first day but she never returned the following days. The waiters said he didn’t have enough fingers to count how many people had complained about the food and services.

The room was clean and up to date. The stay wasn’t bad it just far away from everything and the cabs are way to expensive. The food was ok could have been better. Everytime we ate the food was cold no food warmers. Also there was no turkey bacon or sausage everything was pork. The food made me want to leave. The safe was broke and the fridge in the room was off. I wouldnt go back to this hotel.

The property is beautiful. However overall it was a terrible experience. I was ready to leave after the first day. The communication there is lacking! The was just ok. The some the staff there treat you as if you didn’t pay to be there and expect tips for subpar service for example. You can have a full dinner at one of the on site restaurant and they not offer you you anything to drink besides water. And water is automatically pour on the table. The alcohol is watered down like not even a buzz. If you have someone visiting you that isn’t staying at the restaurant or have someone else picking you up or dropping you off, you have to walk to the entrance because the security will not let them pass the gate. Even with you in the car to get dropped off. It’s so much to write but I definitely will not be returning to this property ever. It need a whole new management/ training sweep.

The staff was excellent but the facility was horrible. The hotel looks great but need entertainment badly.

The room was nice but not really clean , the beach was rocky and smelled like pee . The staff was actually great. Food was good . They had COVID test available on property that was very convenient. Spa excellent.

Like the size of the property. Like the entertainment Staff seem overworked displayed a “can’t be bothered.” Attitude. Covid protocols are observed most times

We had a wonderful time at the resort. Staffs are so freindly and helpful. highly recommended
