I was very uncomfortable after finding a cockroach in my room. Paying so much money just to be uncomfortable is very bad.

Basic rooms with odd layout for family room. Not what we expected.

orbitz informed me that hotel was 30 mins from MBJ, was almost 2 hours. once we arrived greeted by deandra, very welcoming and kind. was disappointed that we didnt have balcony. offered upgrade at additional cost, declined. hotel is not 5 star status, maybe 5. there are three buildings, i was in 3 and i believe that it is the lower class. Lots of repairs made to room, especially in bathroom. lots of caulking, poor plumbing. lobby area, bars, and restaurants are nice and well kept, staff amazing. clayton, rohan, stephen, bradly and elvis to name a few. room service included at no cost, and good food on the late night. hotel credits were cool too. we did the evening cruise, dolphin swim, and photo session. cruise was nice, beautiful water, not really as interactive as im used to. photo session was complete waste of time. cost information was i was sent before hand was inaccurate and you have to spend at least 300$ minimum. If i had known that I would have selected another excursion instead. however the guys who took the pics were awesome, but the lady in the office was the worst person i came into contact with while on vacation. top shelf liquor and food always available

We loved our stay at Moon Palace. The drive from Montego bay is beautiful and is on a well air-conditioned bus with Wi-Fi. The hotel is beautiful, clean and the beds are super comfortable. THe Wifi worked everywhere, even the beach. We were in Tower 2. My kids LOVED the kids area and begged to go in there everyday. The food was pretty good. They always had a few Jamaican dishes that were fun to try. We also LOVED the room service option. Sometimes room service takes a while when they are busy so call early. The air-conditioning in the room was great. The rest of the hotel was a little warmer than I would like, but I mean you are in a tropical climate and it's Humid so we didn't expect to need a sweater. My only complaint was with the all inclusive bands they put on you. They are the plastic ones and my 12 yr old son lost his the 2nd day we were there. When I went to tell the front desk they made me sign something that said if he lost it again it would be an almost $300 charge. This obviously made me VERY paranoid about losing any other bracelets. We were checking them constantly. The next day when we looked at my sons again it was hanging on by a thread so we took it to the front desk to get a new one put on and they said this was the last one without charge, so again super paranoid the rest of the trip. Bring some duck tape for your bands so you can relax and not have this problem. Other than that, we absolutely loved this hotel and Jamaica.

Check in was a breeze. You can call the hotel directly to have them include you in their pickup service at the airport. Most of the employees were so nice and friendly. The rooms are good. Stocked fridge, clean towels daily, enough light, comfy bed, great air control system etc.. We ate mostly at the buffet. I had many different themes and the there was enough options to satisfy our group of seven. The wait staff were very attentive and very nice. The first few days, the place was at capacity. There was a 5am mad dash for positions and chairs by the beach and pools. After they crowd left, there were almost always chairs avail. My boys and I loved the flowrider. They learned to surf and knee-board. The flow-rider staff were very helpful if you ask them to help the beginners. The beach was nice, we were able to snorkel and see many things such as sting-ray, puffer fish, crabs, sea horses, star fish etc... the kids loved searching and finding. We had some issues with the elevators but after a day or so they fixed them and all was good. We did a couple excursions. The blue-hole w/tubing and the reef snorkeling. Both were well run and fun and safe. The kids loved the game room at night. Most of the kids and teens were friendly. Some parents lets their kids/teenagers run free and many of them were very rude, drunk, vulgar and problematic. Many of them were just like their parents. The worst part about the trip with listening to rude travelers.

Moon Palace is a beautiful hotel and property . We felt completely safe there day or night.plenty to do and see. Ample choice of restaurants and activities .The food was excellent with a wide variety of choices. The hotel staff was the best and couldn't do enough for you .We were really treated like royalty . We will return ! was excellent with a wide variety of options.

I travel to Jamaica once a year to vacation, and never have I recieved the amount of care and attentiveness from any hotel. The hotel staff is amazing they greeted you with a smile and always ended with" my pleasure to help". The food was great, a good mix of american and Jamaican cuisine. Definitely try Momo Japaneses restaurant, an A plus plus. Awe Spa and Margaritaville was the highlight of our vacation. The hotel is in walking distant from town, the markets and Juci Patties mmmmmm. The only gripe I have is we didn't get to do any excursions, we went during Hurricane Irma and got some high winds, which made it hard to go on our water excursions. That was no blame of the hotel, just mother nature.

Poor management and terrible room service. Inoperable elevators is your daily nightmares, Room cleaning is down to nothing. They will remove you towels with no fresh ones. No vacuuming No bathroom services, Restaurants staff are well trained. The service will drop dramatically in the Buffet. It is a ZOO. No smiling or greeting from the lobby staff. They are far beyond any other resorts. The property is beautiful, but it is a waste with such attitude and performance. Rudeness is the title. .

Great hotel with so many excursions offered in site. The staff was amazing.

This resort was amazing! All inclusive resort. The food was great and drinks were included. The staff was exceptional! Treated us like kings and queens. The grounds were kept up and kept clean at all times. The room was also in good condition. There was no lacking for entertainment either. Something was always going on.

Everything about the hotel was perfect! My husband and I enjoyed our 6 day stay. Everything we wanted and needed was right at our fingertips. Definitely plan on visiting again.

Beautiful hotel, fabulous staff, great food. Spa is gorgeous although I would rather have done the water journey at my own pace. The timeshare personnel were a bit pushy but we firmly refused to participate and after that they left us alone.

nice hotel 4 star, not 5. 1.5-2 hours from mbj

gorgeous resort that kids and adults will love
