As an all inclusive resort it had everything that I could imagine , hibachi , variety of food , mini bar , activities etc. I do wish more music was played all around the resort, and the room service was a bit quicker overall was a great experience and I will be doing it again with the family

The staff at the Moon Palace are the only saving grace a lot of things that were being charged that should’ve been included in an all inclusive package and the wedding department need to be more flexible with their customers and a bit kinder as weddings are a big occasion for the couple. The rooms were cleaned great some days and not even swept at other times. Housekeepers need to realize that 6:30a is not the time to have a laughing chatting conference when the rooms are occupied

This is by far one the worse vacations I ever experienced! This resort is just money hungry and don’t care about their guest! We went two days without hot water then it shut off completely in the mist of me showering and they didn’t want to accommodate us and move us into a room that had water because they claimed they were all booked up for the weekend but when we did the 90 minute tour to invest in the property, two of the representatives said if we would buying into the property, they would be willing to upgrade my room since the front desk couldn’t do anything about it, and I told them that wasn’t fair to make us invest first in order to get compensated for something that was a hotel issue! Why would I want to invest in this company and I’m having problems on my first visit. I went to public relations everyday they kept giving me the run around about the water getting fixed and a manager being available to help me about a refund! They don’t care about making you feel welcomed and I will neverrrrrrr go to any of their properties again!

This hotel was advertised as a “5-star” resort, but unfortunately, my family and I did not receive service that reflected that rating. We often felt like we were inconveniencing the staff, especially when requesting basic amenities such as having our mini fridge refilled. The level of hospitality we expected simply wasn’t there. Even more concerning, my family and I felt discriminated against during our stay. It was noticeable that the staff treated guests who resembled them more favorably. For instance, my elderly mother politely asked a kitchen staff member a question and was met with a raised voice instead of a respectful response. Many staff members came across as dismissive, and at times, outright rude—ignoring us when we sought assistance. One particularly disappointing moment occurred when we were heading to the pool and approached some seats. A lifeguard saw us and abruptly told us, in a rude tone, that the chair we were going for was hers. It felt unnecessary and unprofessional. This experience was truly disheartening. Like everyone else, we work hard and simply wanted to enjoy our vacation. While I would return to Jamaica, I would not return to this resort.

The property made several mistakes with dinner reservations twice and did not care in making it right after making us wait for over an hour. Also staff will tell you different things when asked the same questions. Would not recommend this location at all.

Too much pressure to purchase travel plans, I felt it was more important for them to sell plans than for you to enjoy your vacation. Makes us feel very uncomfortable.

Overall, we had a average to bad experience during this stay. It seems like such a commercial operation where they are trying to nickel and dime us at every step. When we checked in, they offered us an upgrade to the room for an additional 500$ which we took. They didn' tell us that our original room was ready and this new upgraded room was not and we had to wait for 3 hours with a toddler after traveling for 8 hours, for the room to get ready. At every restaurant the service was so marginal. The servers were literally rolling their eyes for simple requests. They would start off as soon as we sat down, with telling us what was not available in the menu. Which usually would be the most popular/best dish in the menu. SO most of the menu items that were available were like, bagged salad veggies, the frozen to deep fired breaded stuff, fries etc, which we were sick of after day 2. They said we had 750$ of resort credit, but its actually just a way to get you to spend more. You cant actually use that for any of the services until you spend way more than 750$. Even at the gift store, a tote bag is 175$ and you have to pay 15% fee if you use resort credit. Plus the usual marketing strategy of trying to get you to attend a session to sell time shares at promotional breakfast, trying to get you to buy 250$ for future visit at check out. The funniest thing was during checkout they spent 15 mins to figure out if we stole a ceramaic soap dispenser or if there never was one in the room!
