Vero old, worn furnishings. Entrance is down an alley. Breakfast was coffee and a small muffin wrapped in plastic. we ate elsewhere. The beds were good.

They charge a pet fee and a deposit. When i checked out they kept my deposit for 'pet damage'. My dogs didnt damage anything, when questioned about damage was told 'damaged by pet hair'. What!? Evidently them having to wash all the bedding and sweep and mop the floors is considered excessive cleaning and grounds for keeping the deposit. Do not stay here if you have pets with hair, they will charge you a pet fee, which is fine, then keep your deposit cause your dog left fur on the covers.

The hot tub was closed. The property is not quite as nice as the photos showed. The breakfast had no hot food options other than toast.

The stay was good! The hotel had a weird smell but could have been the ac units it’s an older hotel. As far as cleanliness it was not anything special could have used more of a deep clean. But for out trip it worked out for sleeping purposes. We did not use the kitchen. What’s amazing is they allow pets, and the sizes we did not feel bunched up and its was comfortable for the weekend. Staff was great when we went there for extra towels. Overall we had a good stay and we would return because it was in a great location near the university.

The main reason I picked this hotel over others was the hot tub. Being a senior, I looked forward to relaxing my muscle after a long flight and maybe enjoy some swimming. Unfortunately, the pool area was closed off and the hot tub drained. When I got into the room two of the lights didn’t work, the kitchen faucet constantly dripped and I got the pleasure of killing a few roaches all within 5 minutes. I also didnt notice until the next day that the comforter on the bed was stained. After 3 days of no room service, I had to locate a maid and ask for towels and toilet paper. While close to the freeway, airport, food, and shopping, there are many other hotels on plantation rd to choose from.

Kitchen had almost nothing...2 spoons, 2 steak knives, 2 mugs. No pots and pans, bowls, etc. Only 2 chairs at table. Supposed to be a room for 4 people but had to ask for towels, wash clothes, etc. Breakfast had bread for toasting, 2 kinds of mini muffins, apples, and 2 kinds of cold cereal. Pitcher of milk was soured. There was juice and a few oatmeal packets. Last time we stayed here there was a full hot breakfast! not so this time.
