Westgate Town Center Resort

From the outside it looks great. From the inside of your room not even close. The beds were terrible, to the point it sunk down into a hole. We had a conjoined room which at 12:45am we got walked in on while sleeping as the other side can unlock the door and just walk in. The AC didn’t work and got as high as 82 in the room. Would not recommend to anyone

The rooms were very spacious and We loved the amenities.

Requested to be moved from this heavy leaking room, it never happened

We stood in the resort due to hurricane Irma and I can't stress how great our stay was. This will not be our last time visiting this resort. They made it super kid friendly .

We spent nights at this hotel. Nice hotel, but it needs lots of upgrades. The rooms need to be upgraded. They need more parkinks.

I thought this would be a great option for an overnight stay in Orlando after being at the beach for a week by looking online. The wait to check in was about 15 minutes, not horrible but there were 5 stations at the counter which could have been utilized that were not. We were able to find our building and room without issue although it is a very large complex. As we walked into our room we could immediately hear the people in the next room over so we became anxious about how our night may go, but we suited up and headed to the waterpark. We paid $60 for admission for the 3 of us.... at first it seems ok, albeit small... however we soon realized that we just made a poor choice. There were only 3 slides that we were permitted to use. There are several other slides but the lifeguard said only children could use, which do not even include our 13 year old son. There is a lazy river which we attempted to use but there was a total of about 10 intertubes for the entire attraction so we ended up walking around the river 4x and exiting. There is a large splash pad area, but not designed for adults or teens. We ended up leaving after 1 hour and decided to go check out the rest of the facility. We ended up playing games in the arcade for about an hour then looked at all of the brochures outside the arcade. We decided to go to Old Town and then an escape room which were both fun... we came back to the hotel late and my son barely slept due to the neighbors being very loud.

The "resort" does not include the water park. There is no spa. They said there's a mini golf course but I never found it. No lifeguard at the pool but plenty of drunk people and broken glass. A hot tub full of nasty hair extensions and half eaten sandwiches. And $5 eggs at the grocery on grounds. Plus a super hard pitch to sell time shares to this hovel. Save your money. Go elsewhere!

Had couple problem but overall it is a nice hotel

I did not receive any VIP "perks" with my stay, even though the Orbitz website states that a VIP offer is available for this stay. I checked with 3 different staff members at this Wesgate resort, and none of them heard of this promotion and could not offer me any free breakfast or waived resort fee, as the Orbitz website promotes. Wesgate said to call Orbitz and take it up with them.

The hotel is nice, pretty clean, staff is nice...when you see them. Yet the most disappointing part was when they tried to push their time-share since the moment you walk in. It was horrible....instead of making you feel welcome and show you to your room, they send you right away to a sales representative without even telling you what you are getting into. We thought we were going to be showed our rooms, given maps and a welcome of some sort, yet that never happened. Pushing the time-share seemed to be all they cared about. We also had a leak on the ceiling of the master on our last night, and NOTHING was done about it because they do not have plumbers at night....Unbelievable! I probably wont stay there again.

Good service nice room, a lot of amenities. My kids love this place

We recently booked a room at the Westgate Town Resort and Spa to get out of the path of a recent hurricane. It was a last minute reservation and I really didn't know what to expect. I was blown away by the size of the room and the quality of the accommodations. I have stayed inn literally hundreds of hotels and motels around the world. I would put the Westgate inn the top 5%. It was a great value.

I was able to get room at very great discount. If was so worth the money. The property is beautiful. The hotel room was wonderful. We got more then what we paid for. I would definitely stay here in the future.

Staff wasn't as knowledgeable or helpful around the resort. The tour staff was very unfriendly and made things uncomfortable. Highly unprofessional.

The hotel definitely was a great choice , First hotel I've stayed in Orlando and wouldn't change it for anything , very convenient and will be staying here again when I take a trip to Orlando

This hotel is part of a very large timeshare complex. We extended a vacation for one night and selected this hotel. Although we were in an older section of the hotel, it was well kept and very clean. Many amenities on site. Enjoyable stay

Excellent value for money. Close to Disney, nothing much to complain about other than than old CRT TV's.

I paid for a 1 bedroom deluxe but received a srandard 1 bedroom. Make sure you get what you pay for. Property is nice but we didn't get to enjoy the amenities. We had a tight schedule and only was there at night to sleep.

We traveled to Florida on business and the business ended early so we made a last minute reservation at this establishment. The check in process was awful -- keys and locks had to be redone twice. The cost seemed low until I received my final bill at home. Beware additional charges. The rates seem low due to everything being a la cart. It was comfortable and nice stay, but just expect to pay twice as much as the booking rate.

Great location for Disney World events Rooms are very nice

We would like to advise that while we do have a resort fee, it has never been $59. We do have a spa; but, it is not open as of yet. We do offer a mini-golf course which is dinosaur themed. We do have lifeguards at our water park but do not have them at our smaller pools as they are a swim at your own risk, which is posted on the gate as you enter. In addition, we have never had reports of hair extensions or sandwiches in any of our hot tubs nor broken glass and drunken guests. Had you experienced these things we do wish you would have brought them to our immediate attention. Anja
