Our air conditioning didn't work. We had friends in another room near us, and their a/c didn't work either. Bathrooms had full size toiletries, which was great. However, the shower was a little crappy and spewed yellow water at first. We had to let it run for a while to get clear water.

Room was worn down, carpet and bathroom a mess even though we had a late check in, buthtub stained and messy, really disgusting, worn down. Changed rooms and new one was better kept, but the safe was unusable, closet doors stucked and the bathtub completely clogged. Asked front desk for service but nobody ever came. Overall nasty experience, don´t recommend at all.

Specifically bathroom was terrible condition

It was kind of crowded. The Elevator was out of order. Only one was working . Sunday July 30 that we arrived both sets were down. We had to use the Service elevator to go to the 5th Floor. After that only one was working.

The tub was dirty. The front desk line was always long and had a wait. There were little mosquitos everywhere. The room AC didn’t work. And the bistro took forever just for someone to take your order and then take another 35 min to bring the food. I got Into the hotel shuttle to travel from MIA into the hotel, and the driver didn’t even speak or acknowledge me because he assumed i didnt speak Spanish, until i advised I did.

EVERITHING WAS OK. THIS IS A GOOD HOTEL

My stay was horrible. Staff was ok. Service was horrible. When we arrived we had one less towel, no blankets for the sofa bed, i had to call them for it. Whenever house keeping came to our room they took all towels and didn’t replace any of it, this happened during our entire stay. Then I would call front desk and they wanted me to go down to get it myself. The day we left, only one elevator was working. One elevator was out of service, then one that kept coming was always full. I called downstairs and they told me one was for housekeeping. We had to wait 20 mins for the elevator! It was horrible and ridiculous that they didn’t even try to accommodate at all. Also seemed like they were always short staffed. Horrible experience and never again would I stay there!

It’s next to the freeway which can be good or bad. But, it’s across the street from a school which makes it difficult to come/leave during certain times of the day. Food and shopping can be found up and down the street. I had some food out overnight and had an attack of ants. Of the three lobby elevators, only one was working. I didn’t see stairs to use as an alternative.

The property is terrible. It’s like walking into a nightmare. I’ve never been so disappointed at a Holiday Inn. The room was so filthy and unclean it felt like walking into a room being used by someone else. The floors were stained and not vacuumed, the bathroom was falling apart with rusted fixtures and the soap dispenser were disgusting. The bedding had yellow stains and pubic hairs in it. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable. I took pictures of everything and reported it to the front desk. The front desk lady was absolutely amazing and should get an immediate raise. She was one of the best hotel employees I’ve come across. She was empathetic and very responsive. She had only been working there two months but you never would have known. I paid for a room with a balcony, and she tried to find me another balcony room. We went into two others which were also very disgusting and unclean. She offered me a room on the second floor (no balcony) but was recently renovated. The bathroom was ok… only found two hairs. The bedding was better… no yellow stains, but found one hair. The furniture was clean and so were the carpets. The room was freshly repainted but oddly still appeared to be very dated. I was only staying at the hotel for an over night. Late check in and early check out. I took a quick shower and slept in my cloths. If I was staying more than one night, I would have had to find another place to stay. It was that bad. The front desk lady was amazing. That’s it.

The location was easy to get to. The room was very clean and smelled good. The reception was great and friendly.

It was kind of crowded. The Elevator was out of order. Only one was working . Sunday July 30 that we arrived both sets were down. We had to use the Service elevator to go to the 5th Floor. After that only one was working.
