I've stayed here when it was Park Plaza many years ago. So I'm familiar with the property. Love what they have done with it. Only issue was the lack of security pressence. We had a disturbance every night from people staying on our floor. I even called to have security come to address the matter. For one it took forever for the front desk to respond. And the security never came because the guests kept screaming and banging on the door.

This is my first ever Orbitz review so that is saying something. This was an awful experience. I arrived around midnight with my three small children after a long flight. We waited for nearly 30 minutes just to be checked in while an employee stood to the side of the front desk having a casual conversation. Once we were finally checked in, the door to our room came off and the entire room smelled of smoke. Then, we had extremely loud roaring traffic sounds the entire night while we tried to sleep. This wasn't a nice hotel- at all. And the service was very very disappointing.
Dirty sheets, carpet, felt more like a motel.

Staff is very helpful and nothing to complain
Property was not as close to the airport as i was kead to believe. Appears not to have dining available in the evening past 9:30 when i arrived
The hotel is not clean, I was originally put in a room with a blood stained mattress, and the shower head in the bathtub was dirty.
Front desk Staffs are not happy and not helpful. Keys are not activated and failed activation three times in 24 hour
Service must more efficient!

I didn’t like that the property didn’t have a microwave and in order to heat up your food, you had to hand it to staff to take it in the back. Also, whole stay there my room was not cleaned once only at checkout did housekeeping come to clean.
Very frustrating to arrive at the hotel at 10pm after six hours of travel with children and find out the hotel has no AC, why are talking about Miami so temperature in the 90s.Just wow!!!
