We really wanted to love this resort and make it our go to family spot. When we arrived, the girl who showed us the home noticed that the swimming pool was FILTHY. Not only tons of dead bugs laying in the water, the bottom of the pool was yellow and had brown spots all over. She apologized, and said she would email someone to come clean it right away. We stayed from Sunday to Friday and this was Sunday at 4:30pm. We called her at 7pm as no one had shown up to clean the pool and she said, I am sorry I emailed them at 5:30pm and they left at 5pm. The next day, we call them again and ask to speak to a manager as by 5pm still no one had come to clean the pool. The manager (James) showed up around 7. Took pictures, apologized for the delay and said he would have the pool cleaned by Tuesday morning. Come Tuesday and still no one showed up to clean the pool. Come Wednesday and STILL no one showed up to clean the pool. We ask for someone higher up and compensation for the fact that we were not able to use the pool almost our entire stay we were there. The higher up manager shows up and says "sorry no compensation, we are not responsible of how the pool is like once you receive the home AND we have pictures"! Like WHAT??? The absolute worst experience. The lies were ridiculous and to top it all off, you literally have to pay for every little thing. You need more towels? Pay up! You need a trash take out? Pay up! You need a pack n play for your little one? Pay up! You need to HEAT your hot tub or pool? Pay up! For the amount of money we paid for a 4 bedroom home, we should have received way more than what we got. PLUS, the moment we received the home with a filthy pool, they should have just put us in a different home. SIMPLE! We will never stay there again, in fact we have told our friends who had booked there for an upcoming trip to cancel and go elsewhere.
5 couples gathered to celebrate 40 years of friendship. House was perfect. Issues were addressed and resolved immediately. Amenities are terrific. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. A great way to spend time together!
Lovely accommodation but hidden charges We stayed here for 2 weeks and on day 2 lovely stunning house and setting but .... We have paid £11,000 for this holiday and we are disappointed we were presented with a rental contract from them on arrival who requested us to pay $1500 deposit that we were unaware of so I have refused to sign as our holiday was booked with Virgin direct or pay $85 dollars non refundable We had a brilliant day at Disney but couldn't have our family bbq as it’s got a padlock around it and it $55 per week to unlock the code ! Really Pool heating $44 dollars per day but $25 call out fee Apart from that we are going we had fab holiday but disappointed with these issues The hotel receptionist were lovely and very friendly and a pleasure to speak to I posted this review previously but it was reported as wrong place but i can 100% guarantee i stayed here , I believe in honest reviews and felt the need to repost.
The house we stayed in was very nice especially for a large group of people. Uber/Lyft rides from the house to the Disney Parks were about $8-$16 each way making it a cheap option especially with 4-6 people in a vehicle. The biggest complaint/frustration I have over this complex is the lack of recycling. It was painful for everyone in the house we were with when we had to throw a recyclable into the garbage. It seems to that it would be easy to establish a recycling program in this resort complex. It's one of the main reasons why if I were to make a recommendation that I'd tell people to look for a place that recycles.
Beautiful villa, ideally situated within easy reach of all Florida attractions. Restaurant, water park, tennis courts. Grass areas, bus into Disney parks. Very helpful desk staff to plan outings.3 golf courses --about 2miles from encore.
We stopped here for 2 weeks for a family holiday in a 5 bedroom villa. The villa was lovely, really clean and well presented as was the pool area and all the surrounding gardens. We used the onsite water park which again was lovely and clean, not at all overcrowded. All staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. The location was great for visiting Disney world and other local attractions. Overall a fantastic holiday, we were all sad to leave and hope to return again.
Large group of about 16. Rented a 9 bedroom, 8 bathroom home to celebrate a 30th wedding anniversary. Host allowed us to check in early, which was very helpful. Home was nicely decorated, and welcoming. It had a large specious kitchen with a long island and stools for seating and 2 refrigerators that we quickly filled. The game room upstairs, heated pool and hot tub were a hit. The bedrooms were a nice size not small. The resort sits in a nice location. Not far to shop for incidentals and food and not far from attractions. The staff was friendly and the grounds were very well kept. The only issue we had was there was not enough lounge chairs for the pool area, only 2. Overall a great stay, that we would consider again!
I was skeptical at first as it is a new resort and honestly the prices seemed to good to be true. I went ahead and booked it anyway hoping for the best as it was a last minute trip. Once my family and I got there we were all blown away on how modern, clean, and huge the houses were. I just booked again for my second trip to Orlando and will keep booking here as long as prices remain reasonable and quality stays the same.
We were so looking forward to our week long stay. We stayed at a beautiful house, 7452 Marker Ave, however the house is on a road with construction of other houses all around. This meant noise from many trucks, machinery, work men etc,all whilst trying to relax by the pool. It was sometimes difficult to drive on the road as there were so many trucks in the way. And to top it off, portable toilets right near the house for the workmen. We also found that the phone in the house did not work all week. We reported this three times with no help at all. This meant we missed out on lots of the extra benefits of staying at this resort; such as the buggy ride to the clubhouse, food delivery from the clubhouse restaurants etc. The vacation management (LRR) do not seem to realise that it costs a bomb for us to make calls on our cell phones as we’re from the UK. Each time we had to drive to the clubhouse to use the phone but still we didn’t have it fixed. Driving to the clubhouse was a pain too, we had to cross the busy Old Lake Wilson Road, why the would split the resort either sides of this road is baffling. House was beautiful, large and spacious (5 bed, 5.5 baths), but poorly equipped, with limited kitchenware and towels for the pool. We’ve stayed in houses in this area many times and expect a certain standard for a house and the equipment did not meet expectations. A couple of other more minor points that detracted from our stay, included the fact that we did not have one single hanger in the house, so no one could hand their clothes. Again, we reported this more than once but did not receive any hangers. Crazy! And finally, we requested pool heating upon arriving, and this was not fully working until around 24 hours later; a ploy to charge you a full week of heating we thought, but yet not to receive a full week. So overall, we loved the house, but it should not be open for use yet given the majority of the road is not complete. And due to the other bad service points we experienced, this is by no means a luxury stay.
We stayed at 491 Lasso Drive property in the resort. It was wonderful. We were about 20 min from Disney World and about 45 min from Universal. The property was nice. My suggestion is check in at the clubhouse FIRST thing to take advantage of everything the resort has. They give you a card for the club house so you can use the water park and slides...SO FUN!! And they give you a card for your car so that the security gates will automatically raise, so convenient. Our home had a binder with so much useful information...read it. It gives specific for trash etc. We had 5 families in our home and you couldn't even tell. Also, the do offer shuttle service to the parks too.
