Hampton Inn St. Augustine Beach

Perfect location, loved waking up to the sunrise over the ocean. The balcony was a perfect place to catch the moon glow on the ocean too. Restaurants are close and plentiful. Perfect location if you like to walk on the beach. The staff was very helpful and accommodating!

I frequently stay at Hampton Inns, but this one was not up to par with others I've stayed at. Our room had a funny smell to it. Our toilet wouldn't flush on 2 different nights, for which we had to call maintenance. Also, the complimentary coffee in the lobby was cold and nasty. To top it all off, the receptionist didn't even ask how our stay was at check out. Definitely not what I'm used to with Hampton Inn.

Spent one nigh at this hotel over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff (especially Israel) were very friendly and helpful. Comfy beds, plenty of towels in the room, easy access to the beach and walking distance to restaurants. We were in town for a concert at the St. Augustine Amphitheater which is nearby. Short drive to the downtown historic district. We will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful..We were well attended. we were with a large group and they made it a very comfortable place for us.

Great location. Nice town. the hotel staff was great.

Hotel was right on the beach. The room was very nice with a balcony.

This Hampton Inn is in a perfect location with the beach and nearby pier in the back yard and great dining options in front across the street. The staff was very pleasant and the room very clean with comfortable bedding.

I hardly saw any employees. Need employees to roam the area and talk to guest to see or hear how is their stay going.

I probably would have given the hotel a "4" except for a couple of minor things lack of TV channels (only cable news is Fox), and a very loud air conditioner in our room. The breakfast was minimally adequate (staff there was also great) and I would stay again. The hotel is right on the beach, and there are at least two good restaurants within walking distance.

We really enjoyed our time at this hotel. Location near beach was great plus having a ocean view room made our stay even better. Breakfast was good and hot. Having great restaurants within walking distance made this a relaxing and fun stay We will be back

The room was spacious and clean. The furniture was in a good condition and comfortable, especially the mattresses and the pillows. The complimentary hot breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices that meets all tastes. The staff was friendly and welcoming, willing to help and answered all questions. the hotel is conveniently located on the ocean and at the same time close to the historic district of St. Augustine.

This is a great hotel in a very nice location on the beach. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms are well appointed and the price is reasonable.

We were very pleased with the overall experience. Our foreign guests got to experience a right-on-the-beach hotel while at the same time being conveniently located to the historic sights of St. Augustine. They and we were very pleased with our weekend in the St. Augustine area. Since our visitors were from South America, they were most interested to learn of the Spanish roots of St. Augustine and fascinated by the Spanish-built fortress. And the swimming was great, just enough waves to make it a real ocean beach experience but not so rough as to be dangerous.

We spent three midweek days at this hotel. The building, carpeting, colors, and furniture are worn looking and older, but clean. While the building is oceanfront, it's a LNG way from the ocean, so the view is mainly foreground. Lovely and quiet stretch of beach. Nice staff. Fresh cookies every night.

Everything about our stay was fine except the beds at this hotel seriously need upgrading. I had to sleep with pillows under my back and still woke up aching. I'm not used to the old spring mattresses anymore.

We stayed for a few nights while friends got married in downtown St. Augustine. Pool & beach are nice, breakfast was ok, and the cab ride downtown was quick and easy.

Great location if you want to be close to the beach, staff was very nice and accomadating, beds very comfortable also.

Great location on the beach. Good restaurants nearby. Lots of activities to do and top notch amenities at the hotel. Would definitely stay there again

We had a beautiful view on the fourth floor facing the beach. The room and bathroom was nice and clean. The only complaint is the hotel felt a little bit like we were staying there for summer camp and was trying to impose a curfew. We were sitting in our room talking at 3 am at a normal volume and the night manager bothered us multiple times telling us she could hear us outside of our door.... as if the fact we were awake and talking at room volume was unacceptable in this hotel. So if you are night owls you might want to stay elsewhere!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. From the check-in to the check-out, everyone was friendly. The room was clean and quiet, The beach was right behind the hotel. There isn't much of a view, but otherwise, this hotel is perfect. The restaurant across the street is convenient and very good.
