Fun place for kids and adults... room very small and had to dust the dresser before I put anything on it. They do not make up the room on a daily basis, had to ask for towels. No ice bucket or ice machine but had small fridge. Overall not impressed with the room but grounds were nice
Very clean hotel. Nice staff and friendly. Help you with directions and polite. I will stay again.
From the moment you check in they usher you to someone else and under the excuse the person is going to tell you where you are staying, and they do, but then start saying they need a $20 deposit and the next thing you know you're signed up for a timeshare presentation. They tell you it's 60-90 mins and it was THREE hours. We said we weren't interested and it took three different people trying to sell us before we could leave! The third person THREATENED us if we didn't at least purchase the third thing he was oferring I would have to sign a paper stating I wasn't allowed to come back to the hotel. Well I said "bring me the paper" since this isn't the only hotel in Orlando, their loss not mine. He left came back and threatened me once more and when I wouldn't budge he waved his hand at us as if we were dogs and said "just go we have your information and don't need you to sign." We went to the Draft restaurant and the service was HORRIBLE. We waited so long the host had to take our order and when we finally got our food the children's chicken didn't look cooked all the way. My wife and I were looking at the chicken and the host came over arguing with us about the chicken without even us calling her over and when the waitress came over the host said we were complaining about the chicken. This whole experience was RIDICULOUS! Never again!
Was good hotel Very clean and had much more offer in the hotel.
Anything that was nice you had to sit through a 90 min timeshare meeting to get access to do. Lots of employees flying around in golf carts, door was broke and had to slam it shut, shower was not hot at all, toilet was clogged, room never got cleaned just made beds and emptied trash. Plates were dirty, hot tub near vvee was set on 120 had to call staff to adjust before someone got hurt. Barely could communicate with anyone onsite all foreign.
This is the four time coming to this place I like everything
It was ok. Room was clean but in a major need of renovations. Also, it was not clear it was a timeshare and that everything, especially the pictured water slides require a $20 a day fee per person. Served the purpose, but won't return.
The staff was friendly and the site has plenty of pools to relax after a long day. The room was clean. There's a convenient store, bar, arcade and ice cream bar on site.
The room was very comfortable and well appointed...if a little dated. When we arrived, we found a cockroach on the bathroom floor. We booked this hotel because of the picture of the water park in the ad. It exists and is very nice. However, if you are not a timeshare owner, you will pay $15-$20 per person...including children...to use this facility. If I had know that, I wouldn't have booked this facility.
felt the room was not clean. On second night unknown female walked into room. don't know how she had key to enter. security was called. felt unsafe the entire time. no housekeeping. trash and towel replacement after 4 days. door latch broken. had to wait to go to bed until it was fixed. guests noisy in parking lot outside until after 10pm. blinds wouldn't close properly, could see from outside window. tv was old fashioned bulky. upon auto checkout had to call 4 times before someone answered phone. very unhappy. had 2 full size beds and sheets were large enough too fit 2 king sized beds.
Rats in room, unfriendly staff, and not helpful, green area littered with garbage, only one restaurant on site
Came down with 6 other girls and the room really was perfect plenty of room for us. The shuttles were terrible. We all got in Thursday night and they told us on the phone we had to book the shuttle to the park in person. So we needed it Friday morning for 6 of us and they said no because We have to give them 24 hours in adance in person which was not clear on the phone . We were also told we could get a table on the phone when we got their fof gifts of course we show up and the front desk sent us o someone else who had no idea what we were talking about so they sent us to someone else who sent us to someone else and we eventually gave up. The next disappointment came when our phone rang at 7 am on a Saturday for them inviting us to breakfast and saying they would give each of us 100$ of course we get there and no one knows where the girl is we were supposed to ask for. We finally find her on our own at one of there ten front desks and she had 4 other people up there that could take her place that are just standing there while she helps a customer and they all watch. She then handled the next 3 people in line without even acknowledging us.. Again while her coworkers are just standing there so we left. We then get 3 more calls to our room we ignore at that point because I guess they were ready for us. Our last big irritation came on Sunday when I went to sign us up for the shuttle and they said they couldn't reserve for 6 people to Disney. I then asked if we could take the on
A wonderful place for a quick getaway. Great for couples looking to be locked in all weekend while also having activities to pull you out the room on property.
Great staff and room service. Had all the comforts of home.
We rented the last two years now, and love it there. Our room could have been a little cleaner. I had to go and buy something and clean the toilets myself. There was pee on one of the toilet seats, and the floors and couch had some crumbs, nothing major. Definitely could've been cleaner, however, it wasn't filthy. We still had a great stay both times, and plan to return.
Although we did not travel with children, westgate has a lot for the kids to do. We were early (about 2 hours) and went ahead to check out, the person checking us in was very friendly. He had some rooms available, but we had stayed in another part of the resort before and wanted to stay in that section, it took a manager, but we were hooked up. The rooms are a great size, and are clean. Where we requested are not upgraded, but this didn't matter, they were still very clean. I do have one complaint, the wifi stinks, the whole week we could connect, but could not pull up anything. We tried different connections to even went for an Ethernet cable with no results. We had to use data and I hope that bill won't be too high!! Overall great place and would definitely stay there again.
We went to this hotel just for the location, close to Animal Kingdom, the room is old, not updated at all, and they want to try to sell you some kind of time share, if you dont buy it they change the way they treat you, I am not planning of going back there.
The hotel was very spacious and the location was great. Close to shopping, restaurants and everything. Our room was upgraded. Things we liked the best was laundry and full kitchen as well as dinning room and balcony. We were able to have adult time witch was incredibly important after full day of traveling with kids. Our room was a little on older side but the space made our stay a great time and value. Kids loved it.
Awesome family trip to Disney World , we had a great vacation for the most part the hotel was good, we spend more time outside of the hotel having too much fun at Disney world, best vacation so far
It was great. Everyone was nice to work with and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
