The door to my room stuck a bit so everyone nearby could hear me open and shut it. The coffee machine had grinds where the water was supposed to go. The toaster had crumbs in it still. The microwave smelled like someone burned popcorn in it. But otherwise everything was nice. The bed was comfortable and the room served the purpose I needed it to.

During check- In There was a Internal Error on the original room booked, kuddos to Justina from Puerto Rico as she was amazing on resolving the issue in a timely manner, after a 22+ Drive from Tx with a exhausted 2yr old, after our flight was cancelled. Certainly Dealing with booking issues was the last thing we wanted! So we do appreciate the fast accommodation so we could get some rest after a long drive and the being placed in a quiet, clean and spacious room. Staff was helpful, courteous and quick to respond to guest needs, the water park was amazing our little one enjoyed himself very much We didn’t get Taste the food or explore the entire property, however it is our plan to do so on our next family trip to Orlando.

We had a great stay at Westgate Vacation Villas Resort. We only stayed for three days but enjoyed every bit of it. We were pleasantly surprised when we got to our villa and found that they had upgraded us to one of their renovated two bedroom villas; both bedrooms were spacious and had very comfortable beds. We were in town to visit Disney, but spent one day at the resorts water park, which was fun. The Amigo restaurant on the property was quite over priced. Their margarita was very watered down and did not taste anything like what I’m accustomed to. Also, be aware of the welcome invitation for breakfast and a “90 minute presentation,” after which you are promised all sorts of giveaways. It is a Timeshare presentation and they are pushy. They held me there for three hours trying to convince me to buy a timeshare. I declined to buy but was given all of the promised giveaways, which I was happy about. I wouldn’t mind returning to this property if I return to Orlando.

The room was clean was only there two days so we didn’t need house keeping. As or as the amenity we booked under the assumptions that we would be able to have access to the waterpark but one’s arriving. It’s a separate fee. We were located at the very back of the properties so I’m assuming that’s why there was no Wi-Fi storm most of our stay and when it didn’t work, it was really slow.

I stayed at Westgate for 10 days and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. We were traveling with our 8 month old son and requested a Pack n Play. What we received was completely unsafe. The “bed” was only half the bedframe, so when our baby rolled over he fell onto exposed metal frame. He woke up screaming. That is not an inconvenience. That is a safety issue and resulted in sleepless nights on my vacation. Housekeeping? Apparently that only exists if you stay 14 days or longer here. We were there for 10. No one told us this upfront. Four days in, our place smelled like garbage and was getting filthy and finally complained and told us they don’t do housekeeping for us. So I was taking out trash myself and doing our towels in the laundry room. That is not a vacation. That is chores in a hotel I paid good money for. Because we weren’t given proper cleaning supplies and had no housekeeping, the room got so dirty that we ended up with ants by the end of the trip. Ants. It was disgusting. On day one we noticed one of the shower nozzles wouldn’t turn to hot. No hot water in that bathroom. We called. No one ever came to fix it. So we just couldn’t use that shower for the entire stay. And to top it off, everything costs extra. Waterpark? Extra. Mini golf? Extra. Nearly every resort amenity is an added fee, even as a hotel guest.
