I spoke to two of the staff at the front desk, and they were both very helpful and friendly, and had been working at this hotel for years. While I think the good reviews at this hotel is a little bit higher than it should be, I enjoyed my stay, and plan to return next year.

The hotel is a bit dated and the breakfast is just coffee and toast but the staff was super sweet and the location is top tier. If you just want a place to lay your head with no frills this is your place.
