Room full of roaches the first night. Room was sprayed the next day, but roaches came out crawling everywhere. Was assigned a different room, and no more roaches. Prevention would have been key in a hotel at full capacity. Why do they allow taking breakfast food away from the dining area? No AC in the gym, or towels, water, maintenance. Carpet in room is outdated. Refrigerator "froze" my food, and lost some items for that reason. After maintenance fixed it, the refrigerator still was very high, almost like a freezer. Supposed to have free long-distance and local calls, but phone is not set up. Room is spacious, linens are ok, pillow sizes and shapes to choose from. TV is big. Housekeeping is helpful. Problems with key card twice, but maintenance came in rather fast to fix. A car was broken into at around 10:00 in a darker area in the rear parking lot. Since hotel was full, parking was scarce and poorly illuminated in areas further away from the lobby. Police took long time to come, and hotel didn´t provide any assistance.
Dirty hallways, trash all over, not covered hallways, dirty and in bad condition bathtub. It looks like a Motel 6
Overall, it was quite good, but the bathroom had a bit of a moldy smell and cleaning service never picked up the phone. We had to call the front desk for toilet paper and pillows.
Close to Disney, shopping and restaurants. Only had the breakfast once...not too impressed. They don't want the breakfast taken back to the rooms, given my situation, and the need for my son's medical care and that is what works best for us. Also privacy curtains needed in the rooms... at night folks can see into the rooms when lights or TV are on.
We stay during a week in the hotel, the breakfast was the same. The menu was limited. I found a cockroach in the shower and there were spider webs at the door and windows frames.
We booked this hotel as a package deal through Orbitz due to its affordable price. Our logic was that even if it wasn't the nicest, it still had good amenities and close to the Disney parks since that was the point of our trip. The hotel itself is decent; the grounds are maintained fine, the rooms were very clean, and they provided a good complimentary breakfast and free wifi. They also provide a shuttle to the parks in the mornings. The only downfall was the transportation to/from the Disney parks; as I stated earlier, they do provide a shuttle, but it's only 2 times in the morning and it's only to Magic Kingdom and Epcot, and one return shuttle at 11:00pm so if you happen to miss those shuttles, or you want to head back to your hotel earlier than 11:00pm, you have to pay for a taxi or Uber/Lyft which added up for us and defeated the purpose of booking this hotel over a Disney resort. Other than that if you have your own transportation, this is a great, affordable option for your Orlando trip.
We stayed for 10 days and really enjoyed this place. Breakfast was tasty and the pool was an enjoyable place to relax. We had a hair dryer quit working and it was replaced in 15 mins.
I didn't spend much time at the hotel, it was all about location for me. I was close to everything which is exactly what I wanted. The room was nice and spacious.. I didn't see anything to really complain about except that the refrigerator didn't work, and the bathroom could have used a little upgrade, but the room itself was good.
Outdated and over used. The pictures make it look a lot better then what it is. We just stayed there for a long weekend in Jan 17'. It has potential, the lobby was nice, but once you left and headed to your room it was a different story.
Convenient location but the hotel is an older one and it feels like it, but the price was good for what you get.
The hotel is old. Looks like they've redone the lobby and stopped there. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. I kept finding hairs (not mine) in the "clean" towels. The walls are thin so sleeping in is unlikely unless you sleep like a rock. You can always hear people walking in the hallways. The elevators are very old a little scary. The shower temperature was difficult to regulate so we burned ourselves a couple times because it got too hot. The front desk staff were all very helpful. The included continental breakfast is not bad, though it is the same everyday and there's a line after 8am. The location is convenient to attractions and there are food places in walking distance. Overall, I would not stay there again. The bad outweighs the good and I think paying a little more might get you a more comfortable nights sleep.
When I initially looked at the reviews, I saw a positive 3 star rating for a great price. Sure the lobby is 3+ stars, but that's where the rating ends. The buildings housing the rooms look extremely old and worn down, the rooms seem just barely clean. The key card locks needed to have the keys (for me) set three times in 9 days because the keys wouldn't work. It has a fridge and a microwave so if you're just here to sleep, it's not bad. The resort fee is stupid because there's no resort, but since almost all hotels in the area charge them, at least it's one of the cheapest.
Comfortable, clean, affordable. Friendly staff. Closed to main venues .
Nice hotel. Clean room. Friendly staff. Nice pool. Good location
Fantastic deal and Great location We stayed 2 nights and loved it. The heated pool was a nice bonus
Went to this hotel for the builder show. Although it was 25 minutes away( my fault), I enjoyed my stay. Your a mile from the Disney World entrance. If I were going to disney, I'd stay hear in a heartbeat. I was given a kids suite, so it had a bund and single best in a divided room compartment. So you can sleep 5 easily in the kids suite. Only negative is the light was not over sink, so I couldn't see to shave. I managed.
We booked this hotel on Orbitz due to cheap option for one night, fitness center and free breakfast. Front desk assured us early check in at 2pm over phone and we arrived to be told that we need to wait an hour. Our family (which includes two under 2 years old) had to wait in lobby. Arrived in our room to find clipped toenails in our floor! The rest of room was fine. Walls are paper thin and guests arriving in middle of night made so much noise outside our door that we had to politely ask them to keep it down. Machines in fitness center were out of order. The free breakfast is awful and only includes cheap carbs and sugary items. Coffee wasn't terrible thankfully. We paid only $50 for a hotel in close proximity to attractions which was a good deal despite the uncleanliness. We would never go back though.
Good for the price. Complimentary breakfast was good, too.
Free continental breakfast every morning with shuttle service to the parks, all at an affordable price
Location was good to theme parks, i wish we could have used the free shuttle options but has limited times they run it. Complimentary breakfast was decent but long lines of people. Staff seemed very stress and annoyed at breakfast trying to accommodate guest. Mostly just bread items, cereals and some egg and sausage at the end of the food line. The walls are thin so you hear everyone eseically when they are walking by. Didnt use any of the facilites since we were there for a short time. Room was ok, just dont look to closely then you start seeing dings in the wall, cracks painted over, etc. Honestly for the price I would stay again.
