The pool person was the most polite, hard worker, very much aware of the guest needs. Everyone else would smile in your face but never solved the problems. The always had an excuse. Breakfast wasn't a real breakfast it was a small Continental breakfast they brought to you.( 1/4 c. Of cereal, juice w/ Lots of ice, 1slice of bread, butter and jelly only if you asked. Tea or coffee that wasn't hot 90% of the time. Rooms were out dated, furniture falling apart, water dripping in bathroom alright and nothing done when reported. King mattress was flat and pillows were also. On the other side, queen mattress looked better. It rained most of our time and the drains were cloded up and the water had no were to go on the property. You had to walk through slot of water. Guess who won't be back. Oh outside appears to look good but inside, looks like a truck stop motel.

Courteous staff Housekeeping ladies were very respectful and professional Front desk check in was fine. Pool was out of service. Furniture was dated. Bathrooms were very dated. No fridge or microwave in room Direct access to the beach was the best feature

They need to update the furniture's and need to put a little fridge into the room otherwise the staff was great need to keep the pool and bar open later

I actually checked out of the resort once I checked in and saw the room. They advised there was no other room available. I could not stay in the room with the state of the bed, bathroom and mold all over! There was a promised to refund me so I am awaiting to see the refund to my credit card.

I will say the staff cared and they tried to help but the place is worn down period! I believe ownership just hasn’t put the resources to allow the staff to take care of the place. The rooms were extremely outdated!!! The beds so uncomfortable my back hurt each morning, the walls were dingy and the wood finish was degraded, the lighting was very dim, the restrooms looked bad and the TV was from the 90s and it played snow, the bar shut down at 6pm. We actually were lucky and mid trip requested to be transferred to the Rooms in Negril and that location was ran VERY differently and actually saved our trip. If we would if stayed in Rooms in Ocho our vacation would of been a bad one. Stay away from Rooms in Ocho.

Horrible and it was our honey moon awful smell no lights / service

Room and the beach is the worse hotel it dirty .the patio door curtin was so dirty .bed bug was on the bed my body was was swell from bite .and the power went out two day and they do not have a back up jenerator .i was in darkness for two night and day .i do not recommend this hitel to mo one .i want back my money .going to called orbit dot com for a refund thank

Cool, comfortable, quiet room. Bathroom needs updating, but so does many areas of the hotel. The location was ideal. Near shopping areas, restaurants, banks, the market and nightlife activities! I had a car, but chose to walk everywhere. I felt safe. The hotel restaurant provided tasty meals. However, most staff members did not readily offer help. I had guests offering to help, while the staff stood or passed by. That was disappointing! But, I enjoyed running on the beach every morning. Would go back next week, if I could!

The hotel staff was nice but the cleanliness could have been better. There was mold in the shower and the closet was filled with cobwebs and dirt. The pool staff was great and very helpful!

was very good, we will be back with kids, the beach, they got to do something about the sea weed.we love the place. one love.

Once I walked into the hotel, I was satisfied with the accuracy of the pictures shown. The hotel is right on the beach. Such a lovely view. It is also close by to so much tourist attractions, restaurants, local stores, bank etc. The staff there are down to earth and friendly. The hotel could do with some upgrading but from that, I loved and enjoyed my 1 week there. Will go back again!

The hotel was nice for the price. Of course, they could use some updates with their furniture. The staff was very rude at times.

The best way to sum this up, you get what you paid for. The hotel premises smelled of booze and urine. There is no elevators, you had to pay a separate fee to use the refrigerator. The bathrooms were dirty, my daughter left her room for the day and came back to wet sheets and a random stitched blanket in the bedroom. The keys did not work half the time. It's just an older hotel, the cable service was horrible. The tv was from the 80s....not a flat screen. However the staff was very friendly.

Surley Staff, Lying security supervisor, RENTAL CAR STOLEN FROM HOTEL PARKING LOT!! Hotel security said they say THE CAR leaving the hotel at a time whem we were staying at another resort In Port Antonio, just to be clear we drove the vehicle to the resort! Manager did not contact us to offer any help, we contacted her after 2 days. Mosquitos galore! only space with AC were the rooms. No electrical outlet in bathrooms for shaving. Reported TV not working on day 1, TV was never replaced during our entire stay! fans in common area worked very poorly. Armoire had no doors! security lock on room door did not work.furniture and decor is from the 70's.Bath tub did not drain while showering, each time we took a shower, my husband or I had to wait at least 10-15 mins for the dirty water to drain from the tub!! Wash rag and towels were very stained, and not soft!!

Enjoyed it. Humble simple place. Did not feel like I was in a resort prison.

We found roaches and small insects in the bathroom and breakfast. All ice machine was broken.

Great location of the hotel. It was right outside of the tourist areas to shop and eat.
