It was dirty. Both TVs broken and do not work . The breakfast was terrible. Needs maintenance.
Everything was first class
Floors were dirty, ceiling had a leak ( there was a heavy rain storm) staff tried to address the problems but these are maintenance and repairs that need on going attention.
The hotel was ok for just one night but I wouldn't stay there for an extended period of time. It just didn't feel good, the toilet was extremely low to the floor, the smoke detector was falling from the ceiling, it smelled weird like the floor was mopped with dirty water. The bed was really low to the floor, the dogs barking did not make for a restful night, and I went to get coffee but the mop bucket with dirty mop water was blocking my way to the coffee pots. And a staff member was eating and folding towels in the public dining area. I wish the would limit people with dogs to just one floor. I am afraid of dogs and at one point I had to walk all around the hotel cause two women with 3 dogs was blocking the entrance to the hotel.
Ok hotel. Best thing about it is it’s only a 7 minute drive away from cherry grove beach aka best beach on Myrtle beach.
They gave us a handicap room instead of a standard King. Plus the mattress was the worst we ever slept on. You sank into the middle. In addition the pool was closed.

This hotel is past due for an update.
They accept dogs and room rate. Two rooms, both not so clean, roach ran across one room. Trash around building, could easily be better with a little pride.
The whole place smelled foul. We stayed on the 4th floor and from the elevator( there is only one btw) to our room the whole hallway smelled like weed. I know we weren't the only guest to complain about this. Didn't like having to make some story to tell my kids what that smell was. Thought we were gonna be ok once we got out of the hallway. However, the room smelled like old wet towels. I am assuming it was the floor had been wet but not properly dried but who knows. When we asked about another room we were told they were full. No surprise there. The whole hotel was very old but had had a facelift. But everything underneath the new paint was rusty and old and nasty. Very disappointed la quita calls this one of their hotels
Rooms smell. Carpet was dirty, Mattress was dirty. TV was dated.
It was ok. Nothing to boast about but a good price and location

Absolutely satisfied with the room, property, and the staff. The only thing that could have been better was the noise from upstairs at late night and early morning. Otherwise, this was an amazing place to stay.
