The Treehouse at Cataloochee was at one point the actual tree house for the children of the Cataloochee area and has been lovingly restored throughout the years. The nostalgic nature of this property will have your heart swelling with mountain joy as you sit around the crackling, wood-burning fireplace.

Walk to the Cataloochee Ski Resort and among any of the numerous trails surrounding this tasteful, luxurious mountain getaway with a new modern and rustic interior design.

Upstairs you will find the King bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony where you open your eyes each morning to overlook the Great Smoky Mountains. The quaint feel, beauty, and views will bring you peace and tranquility.

This luxurious home allows for 4 adult guests. The balcony/Loft area features a King Suite with a claw-foot bathtub for soaking. Twin day-bed/trundle in King bedroom can be used for young children.

The main level offers the perfect space for relaxing by the fire, crafting meals, and melting away. Newly renovated full bathroom with river-rock shower. The deck on the main level includes designer outdoor seating and a propane grill.

The lower level, with a separate entrance, features a cozy queen bedroom next to a gas fireplace, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a laundry area. The Lower screened-in deck offers guests plush, luxury seating for afternoon cool naps.

Make your way down to the real wood-burning fire pit for the marshmallow roasting experience!

Not quite a Ski n’ Ski-out, but the best access to Cataloochee Ski Area that's available for rent. Walk to Cataloochee Ranch horse stables. Five minutes to Maggie Valley. Twenty minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway. Twenty-five minutes to Waynesville, NC. Thirty minutes to Harrah’s Casino, Cherokee gambling. Forty-five minutes to Asheville, NC, home of the Biltmore House.

For reservations between Nov 1 and April 1st you MUST have FOUR WHEEL DRIVE and understand that it may snow and you can get snowed in!! Guests are responsible for vacating the property on their check-out date and time.
