Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel

During our stay at the Sheraton Gateway, there was a conference being held. Attendants were rowdy, loud, and obnoxious. Often going into their rooms in the early hours of the morning. The hotel was clean, but our room didn't get cleaned once while we were there. Everything is expensive and extra. Overall, pretty disappointing and way overpriced. Will not be staying here again.

Stayed in hotel because it was close to airport, quick and easy check in, and around the clock shuttle to airport.

Pay for EVERYTHING! Even the street meters has to be tended to ALL NIGHT LONG. The staff wasn't all that great either. This hotel get more like a 2 star rating.

The room was beautiful, the staff was very friendly. Only negative experience is when valet dangled my keys for me to get them myself instead of politely walking them over to me. Other thsn that, it was a great stay.

Club floor was everything you would want it to be, fantastic service, quality and availability. Rest of hotel, gym was pleasant and well maintained.

I was super tired and pillows and mattress were super comfortable, directly I aslept ! And room is super clean this is what's important for me always ! I already recommended 10 of my fiends ! We will always stay in Sheraton after now

We got to our room and found room was already occupied by someone else. I was a little annoyed because it was midnight and we were tired. Went down and got another room. Met another guest in the elevator, he too had been assigned a room that was vacated but had not been cleaned.

Close to the beach and the airport.. all workers were so great.. vallet boys were amazing!!! Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

They charge high prices for parking, even higher if you want to go in and out even though they have a system set up for it that is convenient. It's by the airport so it's very noisy. Their air handling system was a bit finicky. I could get my room cold at night but in the morning it'd be too warm for me. The restaurant was very good and the staff were amazing. I just don't think it was worth the cost especially for an airport transfer hotel. The shuttle to the airport was very convenient and with this hotel being next to the car rental places it was also convenient.

My reservation was made after 12 am . When I landed at 9pm I had a meeting that went over . When I arrived , I attempted to check in and the guy at the desk told me I couldn't . I asked why and his response was because my reservation was for the 28th . I had already paid for the room through Orbitz so I asked if he could get me checked in so I could get some rest . He said "No , because my check in time is at 3pm therefore I can't check in until then . He offered no options and pretty much ignored me after that . I was standing there exhausted from a 6 hr flight . I asked if I could just get the room (it was approximately 1:30am) and I would check out at the regular time . He shook his head In the negative and went to the next person in line . I was forced to pay another $200 at another hotel who ironically checked me in at 3 am and I checked out of that one at 12pm . I would have canceled the room but as I said , I had already paid for it . The main issue that was relayed to me was because I went through a third party (Orbitz) , there was nothing he could do . I spoke to an Orbitz rep who was the total opposite . He was very helpful and assisted me to the best of his ability . I wasted 200 dollars and was late to an important meeting as a result of all of this . I have been an orbitz customer for years and have never experienced this type of situation.

The hotel is beautiful. When checking in we did not have a good experience with the staff member who checked us in. She did not explain everything about the hotel as she explained to everyone else. When we asked about parking she stated we could pay a daily fee for parking. We stated we wanted a pass and she told us she ran out of passes and to wait for her coworker to finish checking in the client so that he could give us a daily pass. As we waited for 10 minutes she checked in about 4 customers. She mentioned information to them that she had not mentioned to us. She also provided passes to a platinum member after she had just told us she no longer had any. I turned to look at my husband in disbelief. I'm assuming she saw our face because she walked over and handed us a pass. I am dissapointed we had this experience since my husband and I always stay with Sheraton when traveling. Excellent customer service should be provided to all customers not just some. As for the room it was clean and met expectations. There was a hair on the bed and no Kleenex or shampoo. We did get some when our room was cleaned.

Very convenient and no funny business with the cost of my stay. Great staff.

Expensive Valet and noisy rooms (caused by airplanes).

Great location, fast and easy to everything in la if you use carpool lane!! Beds where A+ ! My boy loved pool and hot tub, I hate hot tub looked like not been cleaned in years, looked like dead skin soup! Staff had no idea about surrounding areas or there or gift shop! Parking is expensive as normal for big cities

Had a nice stay. Would have liked to stay a little longer.

Shuttle bus about every 15 minutes. Staff was professional and welcoming. Room comfortable. Just went to bar for dinner but it was tasty and good choice of beer and wine.

Front desk personal was kind enough to allow me late check in/out as my flight was so delayed. Awesome

Our hotel stay was awesome. We love to stay at the Sheraton, every chance we get. The only complaint that I have is the parking. Parking was horrible... There's no on site parking unless you opt in for valet which is $43 per night. The parking behind the hotel was $18 a night. I think parking should be on the premises for guest but other than that, our stay was great!

Paid extra for a Club Room (15th floor) Attempted early check in by 2 hours. Was told no Club Rooms and to come back. Came back 2 1/2 hours later and was told no rooms on 15th floor Club level so they gave me room on 14th level, still with Club Lounge access. Not I huge deal but I pre-paid for room on 15th floor... they clearly screwed up reservation. Nothing offered to compensate. Desk lamp light was burned out. Toilet seat was about to fall off. Not sure how cleaning person would not have noticed this and asked that it be corrected. I have higher expectations when it's a premium hotel. Airplane noise was very noticeable. This is to be expected as it's right near the airport.

Lovely hotel, nice facilities but the very loud noise of the jets landing right across the street kept us up until about 2 am. Would not stay there again because of this. Everything else was very nice.
