Presidential Sour

Reserved the Presidential Suite and there were many details that left me disappointed with that decision. The stove top and living room drape controls were inoperable. Despite me complaints they were never repairs during my stay. I requested drinking glasses from the guest services line on four separate occasions and made an additional request in person at the front desk. The glasses were never delivered. The bathroom didn’t have a vanity kit. My wife had to call guest services to request a shower cap. When they arrived at the door the handed a single shower cap. The experience left much to be desired.

Very good hotel for price, location and quality! Staff was fantastic from front door, reception, bar service, to pool service. Room and hotel Furnishing, bathroom products, room and hotel decor style were great. Pool & rooftop were great with nice views & landscaping.

Overall convenient location to stay for visiting Hollywood, Downtown LA, and universal studio. Service was terrible from no greetings at the door and front desk, to wait time of over 30 mins from concierge for delivery of towels. Please confirm with hotel whether or not your room is near the lounge as for 4 nights we could not sleep till late due to the noise.

DO NOT STAY HERE. They have charged me the $1000 dollar hold fee and I have tried calling the hotel twice, messaging on Expedia, contacted world of hilton by phone and completed the online feedback form twice and still not heard anything. I also found that as soon as I had checked out the staff were very unhelpful and unkind. The manager (I assume) on reception with dirty blonde hair and an ugly moustache was the most rude and unhelpful on the evening of my departure. If I hadn’t had these issues this would have been a 5 star review. All I want is my money back that they charged to my card 14 days after I had departed.

When I arrived I was not allowed in the hotel due to 2 very rude bouncer/door guys. I think they run the upstairs bar but they barred my entry to the hotel and front desk and then proceeded to tell me I couldn’t enter the hotel. I was extremely offended by the way I was treated by these people and even though the room was great, the first impression was terrible.
