No hot water in overhead shower, heat didn’t work first night, hairdryer burned out. They would have comped me a night but because it was third party(orbitz) they couldn’t. Was therefor really disadvantaged by orbitz.

Great location, a nice change from chain hotels, but the cost/value was lacking a bit. Rooms are OK, not great. While small-ish is the norm in LA, more upscale finishes would have made for a better impression. Bedding also was OK, not great, and various types of pillows would have been welcome in a property of this level.

Lovely hotel. The last day hotel employee Will gave us a tour of the roof and penthouse (gorgeous) and of the Marilyn Monroe room where she lived for a couple of years. He was so nice! Hotel is also in great location right on Hollywood Blvd. just down from Grauman’s theater. We loved it and had a great time! Will stay again when in LA.

Great location!! Super friendly staff. Be prepared for $600 incidentals hold on your card though. Bathrooms are very small.

Very busy weekend stay and yet the staff was friendly and on top of their game. Walked to Dolby Theater for our gig and mingled with the Hollywood/Highland craziness. Definitely in the heart of the night life so don’t be a loser and complain about a little after hours revelry.

Staying at The Hotel Roosevelt was a pleasant experience, from checkin to checkout we found the staff to be ever friendly, helpful and professional. Our suite while starting to show signs of age and general wear and tear was comfortable, clean and spacious. Steeped in history, conveniently located in the heart of Hollywood Blvd and relatively affordable for the area we would definitely recommend this as a go to location for tourist stays.

Love this hotel its beautiful and classic can't go wrong.

Great hotel! Had fun at the pool and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Has a great calm vibe away from the crazy Hollywood strip.

Hotel is beautiful and historical. We really enjoyed the pool area which was nice and clean. We only stayed for 3 days and the location is right in the middle of all the action on Hollywood Blvd. Many interesting shops near by. * quick tip: don't get coffee/latte at the hotel its too expensive ($6 a cup) where there is a cute coffee shop literally across the street and has good coffee for half the price.

It has a classic Hollywood feel. Our first Cabana room was a bit loud being so close to the pool and lounge, but the staff moved us to a quieter one upon request, and they were very cheerful about it (I was initially afraid to ask). The interior of the hotel is very beautiful, especially in contrast with the garishness (and really, crassness) of Hollywood Boulevard. It felt like an oasis in that sense, and it was pleasant just to walk around and look at the architectural touches. The pool is very nice, but a bit sceney (and full of people wanting to be seen!) and the food and drinks at the lounge are pricey. Overall, it was an expensive experience, but a lovely stay.

Overall it was a very nice stay, beautiful hotel and friendly staff. I would recommend asking to not be put in a room next to a linen closet, because the staff do start in there early and it gets loud if you’re trying to sleep in.

Don't accept room 325, directly above DJ spinning until 2am.

This is my first visit to Hollywood. The hotel's location is perfect. The burger bar on M floor is delicious, bartender is very nice. And valeter is professional, give me a very good impression. Thx.

The Hollywood Roseevelt is fantastic. This was my first time staying with them and it had been on my bucket list for a long time. I love old hollywood glamour. Decided to celebrate my birthday with them. Not only was a given a gorgeous room with spectacular views of LA, I was l greeted in my room by balloons, a gift of deserts and a kind note of birthday wishes. My dream and idea of staying at the Rosevelt was not disappointed. I can’t wait to go back.

My wife and I spent 5 days at the Hotel Roosevelt in Feb 2018. This place is right in the center of all the action on Hollywood Blvd. The hotel itself has lots of Hollywood history associated with it also. Our room was a little on the small side but was not an issue as we only used it for sleep.. The room was very nice and clean. We did visit all the hotel restaurants and had great service in all except for one where we experienced slow service. We mentioned this the next day in the lobby to Mark who was a member of management . He was very concerned and said he would look into it for us. A couple hours later he was at our room with a voucher for a free meal . You could tell he was concerned that we had a good experience at the hotel . He made a great hotel experience even better.

Allowed me to change rooms when I decided to say the original room wasn't what I was expecting from the Roosey.

Didn’t need transportation to do things in the Area. So convenient. Loved the hotel. Studio with 2 bathrooms was perfect. Staff especially at Front Desk very helpful snd friendly.

Walking distance to everything. The hotel is a city icon so fun the pool is alsome

Chose hotel for its address but would choose again even if my business didn’t take me to Hollywood. Room is spacious with modern minimalist decor, wood floors & ceiling, brick and mirrors. Bathroom lighting could have been a little brighter for doing makeup but worked out ok. Restaurants amazingly great. Staff top to bottom is friendly and exhibit a can do attitude which was refreshing.
