Fun decorations, and a comfy bed! 8) Nice cafe downstairs with an excellent breakfast burrito.

Jeremi , Billy , aj and many other staff have been a great help in many ways

I have stayed at Line before and loved the midcentury architecture, room decor, and amenities. This time I arrived late, after all restaurant & room service had closed. The mini bar in room wasn't stocked, and the room was frigid at 60 degrees. I turned up heat and crawled into bed, but heat was broken, blowing cold air on me all night. But it was late, I was in nightie, and too tired to dress and request new room. Qhen I mentioned it on morning, staff apoligized and gifted me breakfast. Summary: great staff but hotel should have mini bar stocked and heat in rooms.

Hotel is close to a lot of things in LA, which is a major plus. However, the room was a bit dusty, the elevators were quite slow, and some fixtures were rusting / in disrepair. I get the vintage charm, but I didn't like the rusty knobs, mirrors w/ mold behind them, and old looking tile bathroom. It was also loud outside on a weekend and I could hear a lot of yelling from outside.

This hotel is awesome! I stayed at a double room and It's a little small but very confortable. The only thing I really hate was the bathroom door, I don't understand that trend of sliding doors, but food, staff, and hotel are great!

Very trendy, fun hotel in the middle of Koreatown. Stayed here after a concert at the Wiltern. Nice bar areas and outdoor patio by the pool. Valet is expensive.

Bare cement walls made it look like I think a prison looks like... bare walls in halls, dim lighting and blank white doors. No in room coffee, grossly overpriced, restaurant overpriced (&.50 for bread and butter), phone and electronics charging port didn't work., and furniture uncomfortable. Again bare cement walls in room. But I will say the bed was comfortable.

I love this place. I took my best friend here for his birthday. The room was great. The staff amazing. The food incredible. I will be back.

I never leave a review on anything, but after reading all the terrible comments about the LINE hotel, I had to. I was a little skeptical about choosing the hotel because of the many bad comments; however, my 4 days spending there turned out to be just perfect. From the minute I arrived, everyone was super kind and helpful. I checked in within 2 minutes and headed to my super clean room with a great view. Although all reviews recommended staying in the rooms with a Hollywood Hills view, I decided not to. My room was on the 5th floor right above the pool and commissary. There was obviously some noise because of the traffic (it's LA people.. it's never going to be silent) but it did not bother me at all. I gave the hotel 5 stars because it is located in the middle of everything, has incredibly helpful people at the front desk, and you can get coffee in the lobby, which just made my mornings. I will for sure stay there whenever I come back to visit LA.

This hotel was close to USC so it was good for seeing our daughter, and a good draw to get her to go off campus for Korean food. The neighborhood is a food mecca but safety is not great late at night. The hotel itself was comfortable and met our very simple needs. Rooms in the front have some street noise but the view is pretty cool and urban. Decor is modern and tasteful.

I’ve traveled a lot and I’ve stayed in a lot of different hotels; but this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. The hotel itself was very nice, but the staff was made our trip!! From the moment we walked in, they were SO nice and polite and helpful and very accommodating! I can’t express enough how amazing they were. The bar staff, front desk, even the house keeping were all so great! I would definitely stay there again!

One of the nicest hotels I have been in. I loved the décor and was very comfortable and pleasing to stay in.

Nice place, very hip. The DJ on the patio on the weekends is a bit loud but if you are in for a more active experience its a The Line is a good place for that. The Commissary (Restaurant) is good, but spendy for the neighborhood, considering the wealth of food options locally. Room decor is very concrete modernist, but comfortable and very room-to-room quiet. Don't be put off by the hallways which seem a bit bunker-like. Overall, nice place, well situated, good food locally, good food in the hotel and a nice lounge. Well-managed, nice folks, what's not to like?

Bed was really uncomfortable it almost felt like I was sleeping on a hammock but the it was a very stylish and chic hotel which I love! I was there over night anyways :)

I requested a quiet room based on others' feedback at the Orbitz site. They gave me top floor room with city view. The room was quiet despite leaving the blinds fully open the entire night. Nice view too. Each room has dedicated wireless router since the wifi signal can't go through the thick solid concrete walls that separate each room. The room's partly unfinished walls and industrial look made my stay a unique but pleasant experience.

You can hear all the traffic noise and the staff wasn’t able to change the room and the room is really small.

Dear Cecil, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback from your recent stay. Although, we love and appreciate Sean Knibb's creative design of the hotel, we do understand his vision is not for everyone. Our team is truly the first point of contact for the guest experience so, it is wonderful to hear the positive impression they left with every encounter. We here at the LINE LA pride ourselves on enlightened customer service and it sounds like we were able to make that connection with you. I’m happy to hear you enjoyed your experience at Openaire. Openaire features locally crafted dishes by native Angeleno and two-star Michelin Chef, Josiah Citrin, which gives a new outlook and taste on LA food! Although, you did not take to the overall design of the property we hope you were able to enjoy your stay with us otherwise. It was a pleasure having you and we hope you will still choose to stay with us when your travel plans include Los Angles. Warmest Regards, Senior Guest Experience Manager Amanda Osborn
