I was really disappointed and embarrassed with the check in process. I arrived at the counter and mentioned that I had booked and paid for my reservation through Orbitz. The front desk worker reported to me that she found my reservation but had no record of me paying. I provided my receipt to her that I paid for my room already and should only pay the fee associated. She continued to insist that I needed to pay for my room. I requested to speak to management. The manager asked to see my receipt that I paid for my room. I provided the receipt once again.She still was not convinced. She asked me to provide a bank statement to prove that I had provided payment for my room. Luckily I had that available. Finally after feeling embarrassed in public I was able to get my room keys. At no point did I feel welcomed by staff or received an apology for their mistake.
