Great service, comfortable bed and pillows. Lots of charm and character.

Great boutique hotel experience at The Hotel Normandie! Restored to it's 1920's grandeur, reminded us of many hotels we have stayed in while in Europe. Service was superb, check in fast and efficient, and The Normandie Club speakeasy attached was a great place for a late night cocktail after a concert at The Greek. Continental breakfast was substantial with strong coffee and homemade pastries, granola, hard boiled eggs, yogurt. Try Hotel Normandie for a unique experience in Koreatown. Koreatown itself is full of great restaurants and we even had a chance to sneak in a morning at The Crystal Spa for a salt scrub, massage, and use of their many unique sauna rooms.

We had a great stay the hotel normandie, but it may not be for everyone. It's an older building, with one (slow) elevator, and smaller rooms. But the hotel staff was extremely friendly and the happy hour was a great addition. We had a great stay, but it all depends on what you're looking for and expecting.

I needed a hotel in this area, and I chose Hotel Normandie over the nearby Line Hotel primarily because of price and value, especially considering that a continental breakfast buffet and evening wine reception are included—both very nice. I found my room very clean and very tastefully decorated. The decor is modern antique combined with suggestions of art deco and early-20th-century charm—a pleasing blend of old with new. Koreatown isn’t very clean. As of March 2017 it’s at the bottom of the top 50 in crime by neighborhood—search the web for [latimes crime by neighborhood].

Such as european style and nice building. Dining room for breakfast is excellent and all staffs are welcoming.

Nice stay in a historic building. This was my second stay, came back after a year and they have continued to improve the hotel. The beds and bathrooms are quite nice, good bath products. New since last year is a simple included continental breakfast which is a nice addition. Nothing elaborate but it added to the value of an already fairly priced hotel.

very nice crews. Low price and High quality , really... surprisingly efficiency in light of hotel price.

Lovely hotel, great stay. Would definitely stay there again and was close to everything we wanted to do.

Amazing only downside is there wasent really a nice view just of the street

Hotel appears cheap and lacking in enthusiasm. Bathroom decor is mediocre. A painting was hung upside down and this shows how less they care about their establishment. Hotel housekeeping staff failed to provide the basic amenities, shower gel, conditioner, shampoo, body lotion, and complimentary bottled water on daily basis as promised. Request for a toothbrush took more than two calls to front desk and over few hours to receive. Noise from street is noticeable through hotel room wall despite the room being off the street.

Staff was amazing as was the ambience. we would for sure go back to this hotel

The Hotel itself was pretty cool. I felt like I was in an old apartment. However the location is not great at all. There are not many restaurants or things to do near by. Outside noise can be heard, very loud at night.

Everyone was super nice, they greeted us when we were coming in and while we were checking in, they recommended things to do around the city and tours when we mentioned that we were going to Universal Studios. I'd definitely book the same hotel when I come back again.

Hotel was pretty ugly and not near downtown LA like I thought. There were no restaurants close by and location was inconvenient. Thank goodness for the wonderful hotel staff or this would have been a dud. It's hard when you are not familiar with locations. I have to go by reviews. This one was higher than deserved. Overall disappointed with the hotel location and aesthetics but the staff was WONDERFUL! In the hotel's defense, I thought it fit into the ambiance of Los Angeles. It is not a pretty city I was really surprised.

The lobby is stunning and the rooms are clean and nice but not super special.

Stayed at Hotel Normandie for a work trip with a group of coworkers. There were lots of restaurants nearby and the valet parking was fairly convenient.

It's a new, freshly renovated hotel in an up and coming neighborhood. I would not walk around that area any time of day. There is trash all over the sidewalks out front. There is nobody at the entrance to help you get your luggage out of the car, or open the door for you when you enter, The staff was nice, the hotel is beautiful. But the street noise is LOUD. There is no valet, so you must park your car on an open lot kitty corner to the hotel, for $22 (again, this is a very sketchy area). When I left at 6:30 in the morning, there was no parking attendant present. So, I went to the the box the houses the car keys, WHICH WAS UNLOCKED, and removed my key to my car. Anybody off the street could have done the same thing. So please be aware, the hotel parking lot is not secure.

It was a nice experience especially since it was my first time visiting Los Angeles.

Great staff! Ricky at the desk and Louie at the Valet will treat you right. $35 a night to park your car - ouch! Rooms are very small, simple and spare, but if you aren't going to be in the room too much it's not a problem. We upgraded to a suite because there were three of us. The extra room had a sofa bed that pulled out with a very thin mattress so they added an inflatable air mattress on top (it had a hole in it and kept deflating!!!) the area - Koreatown is a little bit sketchy, not terrible, but... It was conveniently located for our needs. You must order the French toast at Cassells, the adjoining restaurant! Yum!

The location is very bad, the hotel is small and ugly, it was similar to MOTEL and not hotel .
