Courtyard by Marriott Long Beach Downtown

This hotel is very nice and located in walking distance to everything down town Long Beach. The rooms are nice and of a decent size. The free internet is not very fast, but the $5 is acceptable. The breakfast burrito is fantastic - only draw back is that is takes half an hour to arrive. Leaves you time for at least 2 cups of coffee.

We stayed here for our daughter's cheer competition. Staff was nice and efficient, they had a wheelchair for our use which was perfect because we had a knee injury and it made the walk to dinner a breeze.

Restuarant bar closed way to early was not able to enjoy. This hotel does NOT provide extra rollaway beds on request. Therefore did not have a good experience primary reason for staying there was this accommodation

Took can from Long Beach airport ($30), check in was easy, staff was pleasant - I was only there for one night - but I used the fitness room and it was nice and clean w/ new machines. Rebecca at the front desk was very helpful - gave me a great recommendation for breakfast (the Breakfast Bar) and she took good care of my personal items after I checked out (so I could explore the town). I'd stay there again for sure.

Am a slightly handicapped person, so needed an accessible room, near the elevators. No gigantic lobby to negotiate, restaurant easily accessible and food California-style and delicious. All the people who helped me were exceptionally attentive. In particular, Berta at the front desk went out of her way to assure that I had everything I needed. Room was clean, comfortable, and accessible. Appreciate the beds! Taxis to the Convention Center abundant at front door. Altogether a great stay!

From lemon/lime water in the lobby, and computers you can print from for free, to ample towels and very nice rooms, this hotel has it all. Gym was also very nice, with weights, a balance ball, and machines, with refrigerated towels, dry towels, and flavored water. Only complaints are the room coffee is not good, and not having a Starbucks on site is tough. Location is equidistant from Pine and the Marina. Very satisfied. I even got same day laundry service, and the dry cleaning was better than my home cleaners.

I spent a night with my friend here for a new years celebration. Had the best customer service from Jessica. She's probably the best front desk receptionist ever.

Booked for Formula Drift Long Beach and it was perfect proximity. Parked on the street to avoid using the garage for $25 since I was out by 7am. staff was great and the bar was a nice atmosphere as well. Would book again.

Overall a decent, regular hotel. Stayed for business, and would stay again if the location was convenient.

I really liked the location of the hotel. It was clean and simple. Nothing fancy, but it is close to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. The hotel has bikes for use at no charge which was an awesome perk . Only complaint is no continental breakfast. Overall great stay.

We stayed two night at this hotel. It is walking distance from many places to eat. Nice staff.

Great location in downtown Long Beach, short walk to many good restaurants & bars. This place is a little more upscale than some of the hotels/motels clustered in the area, but not quite top-tier. The room was spacious and comfortable and while the balcony was too tiny to be usable, it was great having the big sliding doors to open for fresh air. Biggest knock was that there were some stains on the sheets that made us think they needed to improve their laundry process, hence the low cleanliness score. Parking charge was a bit steep, but not out of line for the area and at least there seemed to be plenty of space in the garage. However the WiFi is complimentary and worked quite well, so that balanced out the parking expense somewhat.

The room was average but the beds were comfortable. The hallways and room smelled of mold and were very musty smelling. Don't forget the added on parking fee. Not a hotel I would stay at again.

This hotel is within easy walking distance of the Long Beach convention center. Very pleasant lobby and staff. The room was very clean. My only complaint (other than price) is that something about the way the room doors close meant that at certain times of day it sounded like doors were being slammed over and over. At first I thought my neighbors were having a big party, but maybe it was just people coming and going up and down the whole hall. Could hear neighbors talking so maybe the walls are also thin?

It was very clean & the staff was very friendly. I loved how it was soo close to everything. Walking distance from pier!!! I think the price could be a lil cheaper though. Overall it was a great spot!

The staff was very friendly and the only thing I didn't like was the fact that I had to pay for parking but overall the stay was awesome

Great staff but the hotel needs an update. Lobby was ok but room needs to be updated. Area by the hotel wasnt that nice but we didnt spend any time in Long Beach any way

Stayed here while I was at a conference in long beach. Good stay. ...

This was my first time booking at hotel. All I can say is I will deffenitly will be making this stay my yearly place to stay. I had called to find out if possible to check in early and I was told I could. After showing up to check in I was getting helped by one of the girls when a different worker approached and greated me by my last name because she the one who helped me over phone. That service made me feel very welcome because after minutes later she remembered my name! Best service I ever gotten at any hotel!

It was fast checking in and out and parking was good as well. I have no complaints about this place. Great experience overall. Would book again.
