Hotel location is 10 minutes away from Staple Center. Room is spacious with free wifi all over the hotel. Bed is super comfortable. Breakfast selection is limited but delicious. Very accommodating staff.
This hotel is a very standard hotel, nothing great about it, would fit well for flight crews to stay, clean and nice and comfortable. But really nothing more. They offer free water in the lobby, that is always nice but nothing to shout about. I dont get the elevator system either, you put your key card in and and click the number of the floor but it does not seem that there is any logic in it. If people want to break into the hotel, all they have to do is jump in a lift when others have put their cards in. But, that is beside the point, it was just a bit of a pain at the time. The area is good, a shopping centre and some places to eat around there and it felt safe tho there are loads of homeless around, such a shame to see, I would stay again if I did not find a more special and personal hotel around. I wish I could say more about it but apart from the cool lobby, there just is not much to say.
Amazing service especially by the bellman, Michael. He was very informative and took the time to show us all the places we might want to visit while we are here and all the transportation options. Answered all our questions and was very knowledgable on the area and recommended some great places to eat and for entertainment. Extremely helpful!
We were helped by many people at the front desk but the one that stood out the most was a man named Leonard, he showed us where we could do what we can do he was really polite he showed us everything to do in the city in details, everytime we came or left he made sure we were taking care of , he made it very enjoyable experience
I went there for 2 days and I liked it. Rooms are clean, staff are very friendly especially Gualberto in the restaurant; he was always smiling and very helpful, friendly and polite. Food was so good and tasty. The location is downtown from which you can get anywhere in LA with no problem. I definitely recommend
Whenever we go to LA we stay in the Sheraton Grand, which is a really convenient location and is great given the recent renovations. We were particularly impressed with the concierge services of Michael Rascci, who was instrumental in helping us get dinner reservations at Bestia restaurant, which is one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles
Centrally located, newly decorated, friendly staffs, convenient to shops and restaurants. 24hr gym is a bonus. Especially love the shower, very powerful. Car park of the hotel is a bit pricy but you can go to the one opposite to the hotel for $25/night till 11am next morning.
Great service, specially from BRENDA at front desk who help me by phone to get information needed, regarding valet parking and other questions that I had regarding invoice mailing and other things, great place to stay.
as a business traveler who travels almost every week I highly recommend the Sheraton Grand LA. This is better than your typical Sheraton, it is an 'upgraded' Sheraton, hence the Sheraton Grand name. Rooms have been upgraded, nice large screen HD TVs, great bed, fancy bathroom. If you happen to be a Platinum guest like me you will enjoy the Club Lounge on the top floor, across from the Gym, great LA views. Where else can you work out while watching the traffic jam on the LA freeways? :) Breakfast is awesome, with great gourmet coffee machines. Staff is outstanding, Lynda at the front desk is one of my faves and Constantin at the bar will pour you a great scotch with a big ice block. Highly recommend, walking distance to many restaurants, metro connects literally to the restaurant down in the basement. Also walk to the Staple Center to events/restaurants at LA Live. Great wi-fi as well, and Starbucks in the Lobby.
I like to give a BIG like to Leonard, bell assist. He was attentive and with extreme care to details. I was immobile due to severe joints inflamed with pains on my knees and feet. I checked in at counter, a room was assigned, when Leonard was assisting my luggage, he saw the room number assigned, and said "madam, the room is very far away from lift, would you like to have a room closer to the lift instead" I was so pleased he noticed and helped me to change room right at the counter. He was so patient to explain, guided, and helped me in the room.
