Very close to the airport. Staff was very nice and the room was very nice and very clean. Breakfast was fine. I had read some bad reviews after I made reservations but this hotel was clean, convenient, and again, the staff was very, very nice. I have no complaints at all. I'd definitely stay there again!

We needed a place to overnight at LAX, and this was a fine place for it.

The public restrooms had no paper towels or toilet paper and the vending machines were out of stock

Beds, pillows excellent. Clean. Melody the shuttle driver is awesome!!! 6 block walk to the Westin for dinner, 4 blocks to gas station to pick up a couple of beers. Good value hotel!

This hotel was obviously built strictly for airport overnight stays. It is tucked into an out of the way place with virtually no parking and has no restaurant. We were leary of walking 10 min or so to the nearest restaurant given the dark, industrial type neighborhood.

The rooms had all the amenities I needed during the stay.

Asked for 7am wake up call. Did't get it. Missed our flight home. Staff said we never asked for a wakeup call but we definitely did. Cost another $1000. to buy new tickets. Manager was helpful. Let us stay in the room an extra day. Room carpets were filthy. AC didn't work. TV didn't work. Coffee machine didn't work. Overall rate it a minus 10.

Hotel is expensive for what it has to offer. You definitely have better options some blocks away and for a way better price. There are not bar or restaurant in the hotel, which is fine if you are staying on a hotel in a different category. But I expected much more for my money.

problems with check in; written confirmation showed 12 noon; check in clerk said only at 3:00; when pushed he changed his mind and said 1:00. Something not right. lobby is very small; breakfast is a joke.

I can find nothing good to say about this motel. There was no water pressure; the commode was filthy; the shower was in horrible shape; the room was damp; the sheets did not fit; there was no ice in the ice machine. I would give this motel a -5.

Didn't like that I had to pay for parking, when I was a paying guest.

Room smelled bad, linens and towels ragged, dirty, and old, bed lumpy and smelled unwashed, TV broken, hair dryer fell off the wall when closing the bathroom door. I had to call the front desk twice to fix the tv, but it was never fixed. I couldn't even turn it off and had to unplug it. Hotel staff were reservedly polite, but looked disgruntled and deeply unhappy. This is a cockroach motel in a run down neighborhood for a 4 star price of $200/per night. NEVER will stay at another Wingate again. Plenty of other hotels in the area for same price. Anywhere else would have been better.

The hotel smells bad and is old and needs updated.

Only good thing is close to airport. We ask receptionist if somebody can help with luggage she said NO. No AC in hallway and it was 90 degree outside. Room smells when you enter in it. No drinking water option in room. Toilet flush not working properly. Totally not worth the money we paid. You can find cheap motels for this kind of facility.

Nice clean room, friendly staff only negative is location is not near a lot of resturants but is within walking distance. Good for a nights rest

When I arrived the 2 receptionist was chatting, one of them helping me but kept chatting and failed to ask me about parking. If I didnt notice the parking fee sign, my car would get tow. When I tried to open my room, one of the keycard failed to open. Later on I went down to ask her to fix the non working keycard, she issued me 2 new cards w/o asking me to surrender the other card that work and didnt tell me that she cancelled it. When I tried to open my door, one of the cards still failed to open. The next day, I asked another receptionist to fix it, he said one was cancelled, one had been de-magnetized. I carried the card on my hand from reception desk to my room, how could my hand de-magnetized it? The bathroom was dirty. The bathtub curtain had many stains, the soap plate had black mold, the bath sink clogged, I barefooted on bathroom since it didnt provide slipper & I felt something crawling under my foot, there were several long dark hair on the floor of the bathromm while both of us short haircut, one of the towels was so brown & very old. I left a note on the wash table about the mold & asked the bathroom to be cleaned. The note was gone but nothing improved. The room had couple of coffee bags & paper cup but no coffee maker, we took the coffee bags wth us when we were outing, when we returned, the housekeeper didnt refill the coffee bags. We stayed for 5 nights, during our stay, the bathroom stayed dirty, clogged & on the last night the hot water was shut-down.

Not as good as I was expecting. I don't want to write more. This is the last time I fill out a review if you're going to make me "write more".
