They charged a 35 per night "destination fee" which I feel should have been disclosed when I booked my room. This practice should be illegal in my opinion.
I liked everything
Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Public areas are stunning. Staff vary from excellent (housekeeping and front desk) to indifferent (restaurant). I don't recommend dining in as the prices are outrageous for the quality of what is received.
We really enjoyed having two bathrooms! We loved the view, the hotel itself, the proximity bro lots of great places to eat and visit.

It was such a beautiful hotel and walking distance to everything we wanted to do.
Gorgeous hotel. Great mattress and pillows. The housekeeping, concierge, and bellhops were super kind and accommodating. Desk staff not so much. We did not appreciate the hotel adding an additional $29 a day “facility fee” on reservation confirmation.
What a beautiful and historic property! I thoroughly enjoyed looking around at a fabulously maintained building and seeing all of its rich history.
