Great hotel with friendly staff

There’s exceptional customer service

Beware there is a hidden parking fee of 45 dollars a day for on site parking.

The hotel is super old and the room furniture needs an upgrade. The bathroom reminds me of a cruise ship. Small and super tight. The tub was so small you couldn’t take a shower with ur spouse if u tried to! The parking is $50 a day and it’s self parking.

I booked this hotel for my mom while she was traveling to LA and the staff was super friendly and helpful to her. She loved her stay and was super pleased. Next LA trip I know I'll be booking a room here for sure!

Good price, the room was great, great staff and great location.

I didn’t like that I had to pay $55 extra for parking, it should of been included, also for the $ I spent I would of expected our room to be bigger & nicer

Excellant choice! Great experience! Wonderful walking opportunities all within reach.

Didn’t know parking was $50 a night until I got there. Parking is on the backside of the hotel and it’s not accessible for handicap going from the parking garage to the hotel.

I thoroughly disliked my experience. The rooms were not cleaned amid COVID, towels were dirty, halls smelled like cigarettes and weed. Room was outdated. Decor of lobby was beautiful and vintage but that was the close of its appeal. I would not stay here again. Filed a complaint to be shut down on night one after finding a used tampon wrapper in my room and was dismissed by the male manager. The female manager the next day was accommodating and gave me a percentage off my room. She was accepting of the feedback and apologetic. I only wish the male the night prior was.

It was ok had some issues but the staff worked it out

This place is beautiful it has a lot of history is very vintage this is my second time I truly enjoyed my stay

The staff is gracious and accomodating. This is where the hotel really wins. The hotel's main areas are opulent and appealing - however, the rooms are surprisingly dated and worn. The amenities are few (however the pool access during covid is a huge plus). There is no room service and no in-hotel dining options - a very sparsely stocked "lobby store" offers a few items. The addition of an in-room mini-fridge and/or microwave could be helpful. Barring that, the only food options are delivery (GrubHub/Uber Eats/Postmates/etc) or finding a local spot for outdoor dining. Housekeeping seems to be doing a good job of sanitation. The surprisingly sporadic stock of soap/shampoo/conditioner in the room means you may have to request adequate supply from the front desk.
