Our stay was nice, the room and bathroom were great but a deep cleaning needed. The pool area was awful. Not nice at all. They need an update. Location is good. You need a car seat in LA does not matter where you stay.

This is a great hotel and an excellent overall experience. The only issue is the other guests, who can be awful people. I know this is Beverly Hills, it's just that the experience would probably benefit from the staff shutting down guests who are excessively demanding or vain. The "customer is always right" approach is taken to the extreme here, and that isn't always a great approach.

I'm not sure why the first thing we were asked is if we will be needing a late check out as opposed to any assistance at all with our 6 bags! I saw that there was a luggage cart and another woman was being assisted with two bags. We weren't offered any help, even after seeing us struggle with rolling them on the carpet. Once we got to the room, the welcome music and note on the tv was a night touch. That might have been the best part about the room. The bathtub had cracks in it and the plug was pulled out and laying to the side. Although the beds were made, it seemed as though the rooms hadn't been freshened up in months. There was dust everywhere, especially on all the railings and rods in the bathroom. I went to reach for the bathrobe and noticed a big stain towards the bottom of it with loose threading everywhere. Photos will be included on my google review. When I called the front desk to ask about the wifi, CJ told me that I would have to pay unless I was a Marriott member. Any decent customer service would be to tell more about the free Marriott membership at the very least. A simple "but it's free and takes 2 minutes to sign up" would suffice. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Do better. ESPECIALLY during this pandemic.

First of all, the property is gorgeous. The hotel feel luxurious, which is very nice. The rooms are sized very nicely and look lovely. I have stayed here multiple times, and this was by far my least favorite. Arriving just a few minutes before check in, the front desk was having an issue finding a room available. Not an issue, we were a few minutes early after all. They told us they were going to upgrade us so we wouldn’t have to wait long. Then they gave us keys to the pool to wait for a call for our upgraded room. The pool was jam packed so we opted to walk around the neighborhood. Over 30 minutes after check in time, we got a call that our room was ready. It was not the upgraded room as we were told. So we had to wait way beyond check in time for no reason? We were starving and looking forward to some room service and relaxation. There was no menu, so we asked the bellhop for one when he brought up our luggage. After about a 30 minute wait with no menu, we decided to call room service and ask for one. This was about 10 minutes of calling room service and the front desk, with no one answering. Finally, we got a hold of room service. Asked for a menu to be sent up to our room. This took over 30 minutes to happen. By the time we order something to eat, it’s well over 2 hours past check in. The food comes, the order is wrong and the meals are very lackluster. I understand that it’s just room service and you’re paying way more than it’s worth, but this is the SLS!

A great weekend at SLS! We stayed for a family reunion, and loved the bar and restaurant at the hotel. The staff was accommodating and very responsive to our needs. Great rooms and beautiful hotel.

I stayed for a week and didn't leave. So while it was a great experience with fantastic, unparalleled staff, the cost starts to add up so just be prepared.

Perfect place to stay, Amazing room superior suite. SLS rocks! Great location

So only stayed bc we wanted to go to a concert and the reviews looked great. Great place to stay staff is really friendly they ended up knowing by our 1st name after the 1st night. We will revisit again.

I chose this hotel because I was scheduled to attend a promo/press junket for a movie premiere and it was scheduled at the hotel. The room and the overall ambiance of the hotel was nice (I especially liked the celebrity photos in the corridors) but the room was a bit costly considering its size.

Great hotel, very spacious suite and friendly staff. Great location if you have a car.

The Hotel SLS is what you think of, or rather what you see in TV and Movies when you think Los Angeles / Beverly Hills Hotel. The look, the feel, the people who stay there ( saw a few celebrities ) all say first class LA Vibe. The Hotel is very upbeat and fashionable with its modern look. Things that are outstanding to me: The Staff is over accommodating and friendly, and they work with lightening fast speed to attend to your every need with a big smile on there faces…I can not say enough about them, especially over the Thanksgiving holiday when we stayed. The food was outstanding as well…not the biggest menu, but everything on it was awesome. The few things that need improvement are simple. Our room was very dark and could use some brightening up and some lighting / lamps that are functional and that work. Our only other complaint is that there was only a shower in our room and we could not trade for a room with a tub, as it was not available. The shower, although huge is room, has a terrible shower head on it that the water just trickled out of…plenty of hot water, you 'll need it, as you stay in there for a half hour plus trying to rinse off. My Only complaint. The Hotel is pricey, so if your looking for a deal, don't stay in a Beverly Hills hotel, because you won't find one…BUT…if your putting up the SLS against another BH hotel for value, than it wins hands down. Great food and location, World Class Staff! Love the Hotel all in all.

Have stayed at the SLS Beverly Hills yet again..........the hotel is consistently great: the biggest plus' being the décor, location, and fabulous bar. This go around they were really good about the turn down service, which has not always been the case. Not quite the Four Seasons but a great value in terms of what you get for the 1/2 those prices.

Came to this hotel to celebrate a friends 50th birthday. It was Oscar night and we thought would be a fun place to go. We were not able to book rooms with two beds online but once we checked in, they were able to move us but we had to wait for some of the rooms so all 8 of us decided to watch the Oscars in our two adjoining rooms while the other rooms were being prepared. At 7:45pm security came up and asked to see our birthday girl, I thought they were bringing her a birthday surprise but instead told her that she would be liable for any damages done to the room and said we were being way to loud and another room was complaining. We weren't sure why she thought eight 40-50 year old women were trashing the room but she was not very nice about it and a simple phone call to turn down our TV and/or shut our window would have sufficed. It really upset us all and definitely set the mood for the night. I totally understood if other people were trying to sleep but it was before 8pm on Oscar night! Kind of odd. Other than that, the hotel and staff were great, just maybe would be hesitant to book here if you are planning to do any celebrating in your room.

every single person at this hotel wants to help you. they are really invested in making sure you have a great stay. the hotel is absolutely GORGEOUS and perfectly located for all city travel. the room was impressive and, comfortable and offered great city views.

Greetings and thank you for taking the time for sharing your feedback with us. We do apologize your visit started off on the wrong foot and we are reviewing your feedback as a valuable opportunity to improve guest communication during the check-in process and throughout your stay. We appreciate your understanding and patience as some services have been reduced as a result of the pandemic, which can result in some delays and a limited number of associates congregating in the guest lobby. We hope to have the chance to welcome you back once things go back to normal so we may have the opportunity to provide you with the true SLS experience from start to finish.
