Uncomfortable modernization here

We enjoyed the nice room, but the bathroom situation was less than satisfactory. The tub is ridiculous and the moving mirrored walls are heavy and not very usable. We’ve stayed at this hotel before and all the mirrors tend to make us feel like we’re in a theme park ride instead of a comfortable, beautiful room.

I booked a 2 night hotel stay through Expedia. My husband was at a nearby hospital. Instead of staying 2 nights, he was discharged after one night. I got to the hotel at 9 PM Thursday night and checked out at 9 AM the following morning. I was charged over $1000 for a 12 hour stay. When I checked in I told the hotel that I would be leaving the next morning. They said that I would have been refunded for one day if I had booked directly through them. But, since I booked through Expedia, I would have to go through Expedia to get a refund. Expedia told me that since I paid at the hotel, I had to go through the hotel to get a refund. Long story short, I was given the runaround and lost hours on the phone and $500.

The staff went above and beyond for me. I had fallen on the street and hurt my hand. Everyone from Sandy in security to the women in the dining area and the concierge went out their way to help me.

Be careful they dont over charge you

Good stay, the thing I didnt like was that they charged me for my room. Then 2 days later they were charging me the room and the damage deposit. Why not just do it when I was staying their? Why charge me the room and the deposit... it should of just been the deposit.

I wasn't sure what to expect due to mixed reviews. But we really enjoyed our stay. Staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to help you if needed anything. The places was really clean. Needs minor updates here there. But nothing major. Which it looks like in some areas they're working on that now. We will definitely study again if we are in the area.

Great stay in Beverly Hills

First time staying at this SLS. It did not disappoint. If u are spending time on the Westside it’s great location. We spent time on Melrose, Rodeo, and other areas shopping. Easy to get downtown. Not far from freeways to get other places. Wonderful breakfast and great rooftop bar/restaurant. Service was impeccable.
