Friendly staff, clean rooms, onsite restaurant and tiki bar are great amenities. Beautiful views of the gulf and sunsets.

Like the firm beds, slept very good. Pillows also good.No noise outside. More Quite than I thought. Food was good. Staff was really nice. We are coming back in November.

Great time. Great staff. Location is pristine. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Excellent location and very nice and clean rooms. Staff is very accommodating.

Friendly staff! It's a older hotel but well maintained! Nice pool! Great beach!!

The location is great. It is directly on the beach. Also I will mention that the food there was pretty good. Just a few major details will keep me from returning. First of all, the rooms were not kept that clean. At first I kept reminding myself that it's an outdated musty old looking place but housekeeping did not really clean it that thoroughly. Also, the air conditioning was not quite running up to par. We had it checked but maintenance said that's as cool as it gets. Well believe me... something wasn't right. Then the day before we left housekeeping decided not to show up until 4:30. That's when I was coming back for the day to shower etc. When I asked her to come back in an hour she just rudely walked away. The front desk did make sure it was cleaned up but how rude really. Finally, as I said earlier in my review, the food was good but service another story. Now I can understand certain times of the day it's really busy but during lunch our waitress gave us our order in a timely manner but waiting on a check for 25 minutes is ridiculous. It wasn't even a busy time of the day. So after reminding her twice I gave up. Had to go inside to pay. She was obvious about forgetting! Overall, perhaps if the rooms actually looked clean after they cleaned them and the towels were not so horrible( really rough), I would consider returning but I won't.

The day I checked in went into room and found blood on comforter. Went to office and was told about an incident that had happened earlier that day. Told unacceptable and wanted new room. Was given new room and tried to brush off. Management called and tried to tell me it was nail polish on comforter. After what I was told by office staff the events that took place in that room earlier I wasn't buying it.

We had a second floor room. The room was just right, the beds are SO comfortable!!! I forgot to look to see what kind of mattress it was...The pillows were also amazing..Very Clean, the staff is very friendly. The tiki bar was great, the bar keeps are so pleasant and make a killer drink...Great Place to stay. Its away from Times Square so you have to driver there, or take the shuttle. Had a great time!

This is a classic case of "don't believe the marketing photographs." Perhaps I should have known better. This is an old motel with little tiny (aphid?) bugs that crawl on the white walls and doors when you turn on a light. Nothing's been updated, just painted (another) coat. If you just want a humble old place with a neat location, by all means, have at it - this is your place. We were awakened on a Friday morning by industrial machines grinding on our floor (or ceiling). So perhaps some updates lie ahead. But if you were looking for something up to date, spotless and comfortable, move on to a newer property. We did. We cancelled after one (lament-filled) night and moved to a new hotel in Naples that was worth the extra $100/night and then some. I'm not saying this motel isn't good at what they do (offer a '1950's-'60's vintage motel for a fair price), but I'm saying it's not where I'd like to spend any more of my nights.

Great sandy ocean front. Cabanas, Tiki bar, pool all for your enjoyment. The staff is super friendly.

We Loved it would stay again in a heart beat! Room was clean People nice food was also good!

The Hotel staff was amazing. You could genuinely tell that they enjoy their jobs. Even the guests were friendly. It was worth the money to stay right on the beach.

Great place to stay, room was perfect, location was great !

A nice hidden gem with a huge beach. If you do not like large crowds of people, this hotel and it's powdery white beach is for you.

Looked better in the pictures on line Very misleading The rooms are tromped on Need updating

Only negative was the wifi was beyond slow. Other than that the place was perfect!!! I'm not normally online while I'm on vaca but that's my only minimal complaint

The customer service at this location is top notch from booking, checking in, follow up, and checking out. This is a 50s type motel that is undergoing some remodeling and updating- it appears dated from the street, but you will be surprised with the upgraded rooms. It has a great Tiki hut bar and grill on the beach with an excellent view of the Gulf, large pool, and great parking. This beach is one of the largest on the entire peninsula with easy access to restaurants, grocery store, and gas stations. We upgraded to the beach front rooms- with surprises as we had a kitchenette, 2 flatscreen TVs, large ocean facing balcony.

We took a quick getaway trip to Ft. Myers Beach and stayed at the Outrigger as we have stopped in there for lunch previously and thought it would be a good place to stay. We were right! It was great! The location is awesome! The sunset on that gorgeous beach was phenomenal! Speaking of that beach, it's huge and clean and the sand is like sugar! Sparkling clean water with lots of dolphins passing by are huge plusses for this place. It's nothing fancy, but very clean and the staff feels like family immediately. We really hated to leave, but we'll be back!

LOVED THIS PLACE! Great locations to many things. Did have electrical issues with the room we were in with having to jiggle seitches for them to come on, but I would not let that keep me away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this resort and will be returning with our families. Beach was wonderful Pool area was clean Tiki bar was fun and bartenders were friendly Staff at check in were helpful and were always friendly when we asked questions and gave us wonderful suggestions of where to go and where to eat. Efficiency rooms were great, we brought in some food and where able to use the stove, microwave and refridgerator.
