The Maren was a perfect stay for our long weekend, the rooms were fabulous, the beach was just a few steps away, with many shops and restaurants only a short walk (0.2 mi) down the street. The pool area was clean and well maintained, with a bar and food service right there. The room cost was about half that of the Ritz a couple of blocks away, but I doubt if it was twice as nice as the Maren. Our room was on the marina side, which honestly was more interesting than looking out over the ocean!

Spotless room with a jaw dropping view. From the perfect service, to the pool deck and the beach, everything was perfectly convenient. Even the smell of the lobby was pure luxury. Can’t wait to visit again.

Food service was awful and very expensive at their restaurant. Food served cold and when we complained they didn't care. Parts of our room hadn't been dusted in months. Good location, nice view but not worth the price. Won't go back!

Location location location!! The hotel was awesome room was spacious clean and very comfortable. We had our room on the back yacht side , it was so quite and the view with the sunset was spectacular, The pool had a great view facing the Fort Lauderdale beach. Close to lots of restaurants we really liked Bos beach bar next to the hotel !! We will stay here again thank you to Sophie for her professionalism and helpfulness

EVERY staff member was so friendly and helpful. Upgraded us to an ocean view room without asking! Very helpful when I discovered I left my watch charger at home. We loved it here. Will visit again!
