Everything was perfect!

This is my second time staying at the Daytona Grande, and my first time was excellent. However, this experience was a bit different. Upon arrival, we had a smooth check-in. We told the front desk worker we were about to go to dinner and wanted to walk the beach, and inquired about the gate being locked at a certain time. She told us that we should be fine if we plan on coming back to the hotel after our meal. She failed to tell us that the gates lock at 10 P.M. I think anyone would be a bit upset about that, especially after being told we would be fine to return after dinner, which is exactly what we did. I met with the manager of the facility the next morning, Mike Houge. I simply wanted to express my frustrations I was having with my stay, and he was extremely abrasive and rude right from the start. He told me that all of his employees have been with him for “over 6 months and they would never make that mistake.” He then asked what I wanted from him, and I replied, “absolutely nothing.” Why would I continue the conversation if he assumes I’m lying about the situation? He proceeds to give me $100 off the room, which I didn’t even want or request. While I am speaking with the manager, I made many references to my husband, who is with me on the trip. He refused to acknowledge that I am in a relationship with another man, and kept referring to him as my “friend.” I tried to correct him, but nothing changed. Very homophobic environment, just overall bad experience, won’t return.

This hotel was really nice , the staff was great. What was horrible were all the extra fees they charge to stay at this hotel. Had two breakfasts, one dinner , lunch once , plus had to pay for parking daily $25 and a few drinks … w the daily hotel fees plus that it totaled @900 for a 5 day visit . Absolutely would never stay at that hotel again just wasn’t worth it with those added fees

Was a long line at check in I guess because computers were down but not a big deal. Maybe have a back up plan to check people in if computers system goes down. Some people had to leave and check back in an hour later etc

The staff was amazing..so helpful and friendly. The decor was beautiful..very clean and great rooms. The pool was awesome!

We came for jeep beach, the staff was phenomenal! Dylan at the front desk was a gem and the valets were quick, helpful and so eager to make sure our topless jeep was secure and covered at all times. I highly recommend this property. Our room was one of the best we have ever had. Corner unit overlooking ocean and inter coastal and beach. Breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. We will definitely be back for our next trip to Daytona! We live oceanfront everyday in palm beach so this review should tell you something! Five stars…

the hotel is so beautiful! Love the pool area and lobby. Very clean and friendly staff. Dalyn was simply amazing! We will be back again!

Front desk tried to change my ocean view to a city view. Also the whole place looks dirty with construction

We had an amazing time at this hotel. The staff was very polite and accommodating. The hotel was very clean and you have access to everything. We didn’t drive at all we walked to everything.

Daytona bike week. Nice place. Wife loved it. Hot tub and heated pool!
