Cons: - NO parking on site - valet only - Some of the valet staff were rude and condescending. Some were helpful but overall unpleasant experience. - ONE elevator - had to take the stairs multiple times Pros: Great building, loved the room, room service was great, awesome views, very nice amenities with pool views, restaurant, and workout facilities, and spa. Overall: Would not stay again just due to the fact that it's valet only (had to wait up to 30 min to get my car) and there is only one elevator. At the very minimum you need 2 elevators that's just common sense. Checkout time was impossible to use elevator waited for 15 min and eventually took stairs. Overpriced for the fact that you have to pay for valet and wait every time for elevator.

Large rooms with full amenities, wished they provided bottled water

New property but cleanliness like used more than 15 years already, very good rooms, really like the kitchen and big balcony, will recommend.

Nothing was unique about this property. Check in was 4pm didn’t get a key till 5:40pm. You need to know if you get ocean front view that there is a reatruant underneath with the air conditioning on the roof blowing non stop so you won’t hear the ocean waves at all. Expect the staff to be extremely rude and non helpful. Fire alarms haven’t worked since 6-16-19 and weren’t working when I left 7-24-19. My room key didn’t work and had to get the front counter to re do it every time I needed to use it. The kids above us would drop their blunt guts and ashes on our patio every night even dropped a bag of chip and soda on it. My entire floor smelt like weed the whole trip. Ceiling was warping from water it looked like, also had a huge crack going across it. Carpet was discussing in the hallway, mold above the stairway door. My wife and I had the worst experience at this place. Been trying for days to get a answer or something done but can’t get a response. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy don’t waste your money here save yourself the headache and stress.

Customer Service was really bad, we were not able to reach housekeeping for 5 days, including front desk, i had to take 34 floor down to get my needs from front desk. there are no service elevator , only 4 elevators and used by hotel employees as well, that makes lot of waiting at the elevators. i dont think we will ever going to stay at this hotel. and plus swimming pool shower was not working and the color of water was green :(:(

The food at the restaurant was pretty good as was the staff of the restaurant and pool area. Other than that I don’t have much good to say about our experience. The carpet in the hallways and units is disgusting. Most all furniture has stains. Our unit wasn’t mopped or vacuumed before we checked in. They do not clean at all during your stay. They simply make the beds and leave extra towels. We used wet wipes on our feet before getting into bed...it was gross. The pool area does not look like the picture on the website. Please save your money!

Nice property right on the beach, but the air conditioning was not working the entire stay.

The room was decorated in a nice modern/minimalist design. The walls are very thin. Could hear a group of people across the hall from us, having a birthday party. Shower water pressure was sub par Room service was quick, and the hotel restaurant was nice and clean, and beautifully designed. Elevators were really hot inside and took longer than expected to get to our floor. Ocean view from the penthouse was amazing.

The room was fine. Lots of space, ok mattress no complaint there. The hotel is mismanaged. During our 3 day stay the hallway was not vacuumed once, there was trash all over. Other than making the bed and changing towels the room was not cleaned. Balcony glass was filthy and balcony remained dirty during our stay. I think it is very understaffed.

Nice pool, the rooms have the potential to be nice but are not cleaned well. Stains in the carpet, dirty sheets, paint chips etc.

The worst!! They over booked and didn’t have a room for us, after the time we spent traveling over to the hotel and waited for hours, the manager Mariano was of no help, and couldn’t help us. No one can, they service is horrible don’t waste your money or time in HYDE!

I rarely write bad reviews but this one is necessary. After one week here I figured out that as long as we didn’t need anything from the staff, we were fine. 1. Check in - Long line which took forever. The person who checked us in was pleasant but it took a long time for her to actually get us a room. You could also tell that she was simply doing the basics. 2. Elevators were a disaster- long lines. 3, the fire alarm went off several times one night but it kept getting truncated so we were not sure whether it was a glitch in the system or a real fire. No one answered the front desk or operator. So we were never informed that it was a false alarm. A neighbor called 911 to find out from the fire station that all was fine. This alarm went off for 30 more minutes creating such confusion amongst the guests. Communication and customer service needs much improvement. 4. The pesky frying pan - one reason we wanted to stay in a suite was to cook. We realized that we didn’t have a frying pan to cook. When I called the front desk, they said that they didn’t have one. I was stunned by their attitude and finality of their answer. I made do with the other pans, but the next morning i wanted to make pan cakes and called again. Same answer. I said that Walmart was literally down the street and did they really want me to go and buy one! They finally brought it a few hours later. 5. Parking costs $38 per night -and getting the car takes forever. 6. Jacuzzi - was packed with young kids.
