Great staff Very active bar on 4. Steak 954 is excellent for breakfast lunch and dinner

The decoration very modern. The hotel was recently renovated and everything looks pristine. The staff was friendly and check in/out was seamless.

I love the hotel it was excellent, and my room was gorgeous, the lady who did my check in was super nice and sweet, however when I was doing my check out the staff was super rude. so just be aware

We had the two bedroom suite ! Full kitchen , two bathrooms , and washer and dryer in the suite . We really enjoyed our stay .

Nice staff excellent environment beautiful views and very clean only thing is that they're doing construction so the noise of construction woke me up every morning other than that everything was great!

Staff is pretty friendly and hotel is directly across from the beach. Those are the only positives. This place has a very odd layout. You first walk into a lobby and have to wait for a set of VERY SLOW elevators, which only operate through 4 floors. Once you're on the 4th floor,(which is where the reception desk is) you have to 100ft to another set of EXTRA SLOW elevators that take you up to your room. I reserved a "spectacular oceanview room". Which is a very misleading description. Had all of 2/3ft balcony that barely fit 2 people. Had a partial oceanview and cityview to go along with a "spectacular" view of the construction going on at the hotel. The decor in the room was simple but nice in my opinion. Furniture was pretty worn. There was chipped paint all over the balcony. As well as moldy edges on the Windows. Housekeeping is almost non existent. All they did was fix up the bed. Didn't get fresh towels for all of the 3nights I was there. Last but not least. You will pay an extra $70/day between parking and hotel fees. That doesn't really sit well after staying at an unpleasant hotel. This is not the worst hotel I've stayed in. Just very sub-par for the price you pay. This is not an upscale hotel by extent of the word. Could've definitely stayed at a courtyard for half the price and receive better or equal service.

Nice, but expect to spend $$$ on all food and beverage

I took my niece for three days as a college graduation gift to Florida. From the minute we met Jessica at the front counter when we checked in....to the time we met Alyssa and Dervin when we checked out.... it was by far the most unexpectedly greatest hotel stays I've ever experienced. I'm 51 years old and satayed at a lot of hotels nand rented condos but nothing compares to my stay at the W! Jessica after hearing our story upgraded us from a deluxe room to an ocean front suit that was amazing!!! We needed a time sensitive document noterized and there was a very kind and helpful young man at the desk on the ground floor who went over and above to find a noter for us! I wish I remembered his name because he spent some time finding someone close by and was such a nice and friendly young man. Then when I was checking out I asked Alyssa how much the bathrobes where so I could buy one for my wife who wasn't able to come. She spoke to the manager Dervin who then came over introduced himself and gave my niece back the room key and had someone escort her to the room to give us the two robes we wore in our suit. I can't wait to bring my wife to Fort Lauderdale and the W and show her what an awesome, beautiful place it is. I tell her they didn't treat me just like a guest in their home....they treated both my niece and I as family who came in from out of town for a short stay!

The hotel is operating as best they can through a huge construction rehab. The main pool on the waterfront is closed. The back pool, that resembles a small cruise ship deck, has a condo construction project next door and is very noisey. The staff and the food along with the two bedroom residence room we had saved our trip. I can't say enough about the staff at the hotel. Alex in the pool area greeted us by name each day and the entire staff here are quick and efficient with drinks and food. The meals we had at Starr's restaurant Steak 954 were outstanding. We discussed moving once we arrived but after one day we reconsidered based on the staff at the W.

I would say overall this was a really great hotel. Clean. Fun and definitely would stay here again. Drinks were good. Atmosphere was incredible. Younger hotel in my opinion. Everything was perfect

The W Hotel is at an excellent location close to all restaurants and bars. Staff was very courteous and attentive. Beautiful pool and beach is right across the street. Will definitely go back and highly recommend. Tanya at the front desk was great. Well wort the money!

Great hotel in FLL. great staff that was very friendly and helpful. Facility was very clean and relatively new. Would stay here again!

First the mega view room on the 22nd floor was awesome! Friendly service everywhere.

My husband and I always have the best time while visiting the W ft Lauderdale. We refuse to stay anywhere else I south Florida.

Total Excellence, this hotel will accommodate your every need....ANYTIME

Great location ! We came in earlier than expected and they offered us drinks while we waited poolside. Overall great place to stay!

I chose this hotel because of its location and it did not disappoint. From the moment I was greeted by the valet until I checked out, the staff was extremely nice, hospitable and eager to please. No attitudes, just nice and hospitable. My room had a beautiful partial view of the ocean to the right of my balcony and the city of Ft Lauderdale to the left which was quite beautiful at night. The room was well appointed with very nice shampoo and body products and an extremely comfortable bed. It was spotlessly clean as well. The pool overlooking the ocean was a nice treat. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, setting up umbrellas and offering extra towels when needed. It was nice to be pampered! The view was breathtaking and the breezes off the ocean made the August heat bearable! My only less than positive experience was that I was easily able to hear the people in the next room. There was an adjoining door, so that might have been the culprit. I can easily overlook with all the positives. Beautiful property with a great staff that does their job exceptionally well.

We went to the W in Fort Lauderdale to meet our family who flew in for the holiday weekend. Everything was wonderful! Location, staff, our room and the pool! We didn't dine there so I cannot give you my review on that. The only thing I would change is the card system to get in our room and the elevator! That was the most annoying issue! You have to wave the card where indicated in the elevator to get to your floor and to unlock your door. If you didn't do it quick enough or if the card loses its memory you're out of luck! This happen 3 times in a 1 night stay! We had to go to the reservation desk each time to activate our card. So it took unnecessary time away from family.

Great overall experience. My husband and I beautiful trip. The staff was very accommodating.

Stayed at W hotel in Ft. Lauderdale. The room was comfortable and clean, although wifi was lacking. Room service and customer service of the staff was outstanding. Great location, adjacent to the beach wonderful, relaxing pool and lounge. Gym well equipped. Would recommend.
