Dear Costa Hollywood Beach Resorts Management Team,
My name is Dr. Christopher Gunter, and I was a guest at your hotel from August 30 to September 2, 2025. I had booked this trip as a short holiday weekend getaway with the expectation of rest and relaxation, but unfortunately, my experience was far below those expectations.
Upon arrival at 7:45 p.m. on August 30th, I was informed that the entire property did not have Wi-Fi. This not only prevented me from being able to access a key to my room but also created a significant inconvenience throughout my stay. The front desk asked to make copies of my credit card and driver’s license; however, my personal information was left exposed on the counter, face up, with other guests’ documents. I immediately requested that my information be placed somewhere secure, as leaving it out was a serious breach of privacy and guest safety.
After manually checking in, I then had to wait approximately 30 minutes for a security guard to escort me to my room. Being on the 6th floor, my cell phone service was already limited, and without Wi-Fi, I was unable to stay connected or complete any work. For the first two days of my stay, I had no room key and could not access my room, the pool, or the gym without waiting for security each time.
Additionally, despite my request to have my room serviced, it was never refreshed or cleaned for the entire duration of my visit.
