We had to call back and get wifi password. We needed the wifi to watch TV due to not being able to change channels on the TV. The power went out and we had to get ready for our early flight in the dark.

The hotel does not meet its billing of a 4-star hotel in any way. Unenthusiastic staff, unable to pick up the phone when called, keys lock out two hours before checkout and very uninspired decorations in the room. This is not a resort but a hotel looking for an identity.

I give it 4 stars for - (a) the luxurious room that came at the very affordable rate of around $125 (weekday rate). King suite with separate kitchenette + living area, and bedroom, and balcony. (b) amenities (rooftop pool and Jacuzzi, free beach beds and towels) (c) around 150 meters from the beach Minus one star for not being transparent about the cost of the valet parking. There are hidden fees that result in valet parking totaling around $90 per day ($42 valet parking + $40 resort fee + taxes + occupancy tax!!)
