Older property and decor, but clean, comfortable, and functional with frig, nice pool area, fitness room, friendly staff, and bar/restaurant overlooking beach. Across street from beach and 3-4 blocks to restaurants/shopping area. Good price/value.

Price was good. However, the hotel is really old and not in good

On the beach free parking and no resort fee this place is awesome and I will be returning

Beautiful spot, great outdoor restaurant/bar, room was clean, staff was super friendly and helpful. Very close to beach.

The room was dated, can be cleaner, but for the price it was good. Great location.

Literally across the street from the beach. Staff was great. Restaurant was excellent. Not luxury but great value for cost. Was able to check in 6 hours early for no fee !

Hotel is old and run down. Parking area was quite disorganized. Restaurant was a bit pricey for the food we ordered. King Size Bed in 220 was so bad had to request a different room. At least they were accommodating and the bed in 212 was much better. Pool area was okay, just small, then again who needs a pool when you are across the street from the beach. SO if you are just looking for a place to throw down for the night, go for it...otherwise pay a bit more and find something more comfortable.

Pros: ocean front and nice bar. Cons: old and unconfortable to go to the back rooms. Overall its ok for the price you pay...but i wouldnt come back....

Great location and service was great at the hotel. Had a great time. I was upgraded to a suite because I got in late and my room was not available. That worked out great!

Very good convenient close to everything is my second time staying and will come back the restaurant food is good the breakfast was delicious and very adorable

Very old hotel that has not been kept up or renovated

It looks decent online, but don't be fooled. Yes, they made some upgrades to the rooms. New cabinets etc. But, the tile in the bathroom is painted and peeling. Rust stains, dirt, shelving looks as though it hasn't been cleaned in months. I'm grateful we only stayed one night

Very neat and seasoned beach side resort, but needs some updates. Our room was clean and tidy upon arrival. The bathroom was clean as well but for the first two days we only had warm, not hot water in the shower. Not a big deal but it would have been nice. The hotel bar and pool were nice! Nothing fancy but nice.

The building is really old and they should update it. There is no power outlet in the bedroom, only in the bathroom and across from the bathroom. How come there is a bedside lamp with no power??? Seriously, there is a lamp next to the bed but you can't turn on because there is no plug for the eletricity. Where are we suppose to charge our phones for example? About the wifi, the wifi was on, but probably the modem was off because there was no internet at all. You can here everything that happens in the room upstairs, not only steps, but the whole conversation. Some staff members complaining about the job and the hotel in front of guests! The positive was the shower and the location.

I was suspicious. It had this 2.9 rating. But, traveling alone I can put up with a lot and the price, albeit post-hurricane Maria, was very low for a beachfront hotel, even for off season as is October. What a delightful surprise! Staff is very gracious, Kolleen and Liz will respond to your requests. Be prepared for a 59-year old property which has been remodeled but the bathrooms are mostly still dated. If you can't see the charm in clean rooms and baths which have some vintage (beds and furnishings are new) then you're better off spending a lot more money and going somewhere else. The facade is deemed historic and cannot be altered, and the extensive coral blocks used in construction are clearly running against present-day environmental sentiment. But it's a throwback to the time that this hotel ruled the beach, and when it comes to value and quality, it still does.

For a low budget old hotel it's awesome!!! Lots of pluses: Beach, Restaurant, pool, old Florida style

Staff and help was very accommodating at check-in and at parking.

Right across the beach, nice and quiet. Only thing need improvement is the restaurant, 25 minutes waiting just to order anythingand them wait more time to get your order, is total unacceptable.
